Ever since I was saved from the massive dragon I've come to realize that he was my father. It's been fifteen years since that day. My new family, they took care of me and for that I am thankful. But ever since I was born, it came with a catch.

I was born a monster, we were hated but it didn't help that my mother and father ravaged cities and burned villages down... Before I knew it fifteen years of my life was spent living with a corrupt family that destroyed innocent lives. I ended up getting tossed aside, I was thrown out like trash.

I hated my family so I wasn't exactly upset about the outcome if anything I was happy. I was still very thankful for my family, after all, they looked after me making sure I grew at a healthy pace. I was taught how to shift my body from my draconic form, into a human when ever I so pleased. Not knowing where to start I would look right behind me, I noticed my younger sister with a saddened expression on her face. I didn't want to leave her behind, but I had no choice, she grew on me.

I bent my legs back readying myself for flight, I shifted my weight launching myself off the ground barely 3 feet. I began to flap my large wings which would cause a large draft of wind making tree leaves rustle from right under me. "I won't be like them." I thought to myself. I won't leave my children for dead, I won't murder countless of innocent lives. "After all, I'm still human" After that, I would head north, maybe then I'll find a new home...

I flew for five hours on end searching for someplace to stay before it became night. I started growing tired from the nonstop flying, I shifted my weight to slow myself down so I could land on the ground. There weren't very many clearings to land my large body so I took the chance and shifted into my human form while slightly hovering over large trees hoping some of the branches would break my fall.

Yes I know I could just land and sleep in my draconic form but I don't want to draw attention to me from any possible predators. As I began to fall I quickly took grasp of a thick branch. I made a quick maneuver much like a circus actor I twirled myself on the branch to find myself sitting on it. "I'll sleep here for now" Leaning myself on the tree I shut my eyes to get some sleep, I have a long day ahead of me tomorrow after all.
