There are three realms within existence: the Celestial realm, the Mortal realm, and the Nether realm. The Celestial realm is where all the heavenly beings dwell. They comprise of Cherubim, Bestials, Elementals, and the Demi. The Cherubim are angelic-like beings. The Bestials are creatures that have been depicted as beasts of legend, the: kitsune, dragons, unicorns, and the like. The Elementals are beings that have incorporeal forms. They are spirits made up of the very elements that they wield. Then there are the Demi, entities who were once human, whom have transcended to the celestial realm as immortals. The Demi have been depicted as gods and worshiped accordingly throughout history. The inhabitants of the celestial realm are believed to be the righteous, benevolent creatures of light and order. 

An opposing force to the Celestial realm is the Nether realm where the denizens of darkness reside. It comprises of Demons, Evali Spiritous, Nether Beasts, and the Fallen. The Demons are known for their dark-colored leathery skin, with bat-like wings, and horns of varying sizes. The Evali Spiritous are depicted as evil spirits, who are believed to corrupt those of the mortal realm. The Nether Beasts are depicted as monstrosities born from humanity’s greatest fears and nightmares. Then there are the Fallen, which are humans, and celestial alike, who embraced, and cultivated powers of darkness to obtain immortality. The Nether realm is believed to be one ruled by darkness, evil desires, and chaos. Both realms received and cultivated their power through the faith, fear, and reverence, which they received from the mortal realm

Then there is the mortal realm, the one in which humanity resides. The mortal realm has been left mainly untouched throughout the centuries, only being influenced by the chosen of the inhabitants from the Nether and Celestial realms. The chosen were humans who were empowered by those inhabitants being used as tools for spreading their influence. The chosen wielded the abilities of their celestial or nether benefactor. They were considered prophets, demigods, mystics, witches, and the possessed. These chosen were tasked with spreading faith, reverence, or fear for their benefactor. The benefactors fed off this, which both nurtures and strengthens their abilities.
