Pranshu began to Question himself more and more with each passing day. He knew what he had done was right but he didn't know what to do next.
"All of them must have reached Earth by now. What am I doing here? What if Ragini was right about the illusion? She must be living a regular life by now. If that's true, basically everybody on Earth continued their life uninterrupted, while I am the only One who got affected by all this. But maybe they all died. In that case, I am the only One who survived. But there is no way of truly knowing. Would it have been better if I lived or died with them? Even if they were just in my head. I am still in my head now anyway. Maybe I'll just create more characters." he was thinking to himself when the thought that had long been forgotten got back to him.
"ASH!" he exclaimed out loud with an expression of sudden remembrance and rushed back into his room.
The gravity generator was not working properly so he felt a bit light. He took out a pen and a paper out of the cupboard and started drawing a grid. The ink gel inside the pen didn't flow properly due to the lack of gravity. He took out the refill and started writing with it. He had to blow into it every Ten seconds to collect enough ink at its tip to be able to write something on the paper.
He started off by putting the Sixteen characters right at the centre of the English alphabet, in the form of a Four by Four matrix. It started with the letter 'F', followed by the letters G, H and I, thus, forming the first row. Below that another row with letters, J, K, L and M, then a row of N, O, P and Q, and finally the row R, S, T and U.
In the matrix, the Sixteen letters made Four columns as well, which read F J N R; G K O S; H L PT; and I M Q U. He then put the letter A on top of the matrix and the letter Z on its left and for a while stared at the Eighteen characters in front of him as if they were people, in an attempt to figure out how they were all linked. He tried to make some words out of the scattered alphabets. His eyes immediately fell on the fourth row and he saw the word 'RUST' jumbled up. He tried to find more such Four lettered combinations in a single row or column, but couldn't.
Pranshu wrote the word 'Pran' against the letter A and 'Ragini' against Z and then separately wrote the Eight remaining characters, B, C, D, E, V, W, X and Y at the bottom of the page. He looked at the matrix and then looked at Pran and Ragini. The faces of Pran and Ragini appeared in front of his eyes and he imagined the characters to be divided based on their gender. As if Pran and Ragini were the main influencers for the remaining characters. He observed how B, C, D and E were closer to Pran and thus, imagined them to be males and with similar logic, imagined V, W, X and Y to be females. Immediately after that thought another One came to his mind and in the next moment, he struck through the Eight letters at the bottom and blew into the back of the refill as it didn't leave any visible mark. Without wasting more ink on striking through the Eight characters at the bottom, he wrote the letter 'V' right above letter 'F' and lightly circled the whole column, creating a vertical group VFJNR. He then wrote the letter 'W' above the 'G', circling the group 'WGKOS' and similarly, he circled the groups XHLPT and YIMQU. After that he put the letter B, C, D and E towards the left of F, J, N and R respectively, thus, circling Four horizontal groups: BFGHI, CJKLM, DNOPQ and ERSTU. Finally, with the intention of not putting all males and females together, he made the last Two groups. One that circled VWXY along with A and another One that circled Z and BCDE together.

He went on to write the word 'Universe' against the letter 'B', 'Mo' against the letter 'V' and 'Memory' against 'F'. F was where row B and column V met. In his head, Pranshu made a relationship that Mo represented the centre of the Universe but now she was just a Memory that Changaswami possessed.
He then moved to the letter 'W' and wrote the word 'Show' against it. The corresponding Character in Ragini's group was the letter 'C'. He wrote the word 'Game' against it and against the letter 'K' where column W and row C met, he wrote the word 'Dream'; thinking about the way Pranshul had started treating everything in his life as a Game just to fulfil his Dream of creating a television Show.
Moving on to the Reality in which he himself was living. He thought of how he was putting himself in each of the Character's Shoes to win the Race he was running all alone and how this strange thing had now become his sole Business. He immediately put the word 'Shoes' next to 'X', 'Race' next to 'D' and 'Business' next to 'P', where column X and row D met.
Finally, he arrived at the letter 'Y' and now that all the realities seemed to be covered, he had just One Question in his mind. "What could be the next Step?" he asked himself and then answered with the word he thought would best represent Y. The word that was symbolic for Step and still made him significant when attached with Pran. 'Shoe', he wrote next to Y, then 'Step' next to E, and finally 'Question' next to U, which was The Twenty First Character, the Character assigned for writing this chapter.
Making this grid was the first Step before the whole Story started and now, it was the last too. He looked at the grid and it all came back to him. The circle had been completed. This was his purpose, to come back where he started from.
All the remaining characters started to appear by themselves next to their respective letters along with their descriptions and soon took the shape of a grid with each column and their respective row having similar colours as their background. Just like the One on Pranshul's laptop.
It was magic right before Pranshu's eyes. But at the same time, he became more aware of the illusion he was in. And suddenly it hit him.
"ASH! Ashita. She was The First Real-life Character that Pranshul made for PranShow. The first of all PranShoes. This is all her. She was created with all of Pran's qualities. This is her subconscious. This must be what I'm like in her head, her perception of me. A man with multiple personalities struggling to find his true self." he thought to himself in an eye- opening moment. Suddenly, U disappeared. Then H and S. Just Pran remained, along with his group.
