On a stormy night, a young man with black hair and red eyes, lays in a hospital bed listening to the constant beeps of the machines telling him he's still alive. This young man’s name is Charles, when he was a child he came down with an incurable disease, yet he never gave up and constantly fought for life. However, it has been over 17 years since then, now on his 21st birthday he knew he didn’t have much longer left to live.
Every year he felt his strength fade more and more, at first, he could still attend school and his regular life because the disease wasn’t transferable. It was when he turned eleven that he was hospitalized finding it incredibly hard to walk let alone focus on school. By the time he turned seventeen, everyone had started to give up, even his own family slowly stopped visiting knowing there was no more they could do for him.

He would stare out at the rain alone in the hospital room, unsure as to why he deserved such a fate. He would breathe deeply before muttering “this is not fair...” he started to believe something was wrong about all of this, anger started to build within him as his breathing started to slow, he shouted as loud as he could with a hoarse voice “Give me back my life!” after his last outburst, his eyes lid started to become heavier and heavier as he started to close his eyes knowing this was the end. As he begun to drift off to an endless sleep a light begun to glow on the back of his right hand as a strange symbol appeared, full of power.
