Waking up the next day I let out big yawn and stretch, feeling good this morning. I would look around at the nearly bare bone room that this inn had, having simply a bed, a chest and a dresser. Shaking my head, I went to get up noticing a strange buzzing in my head again when I tried to concentrate on it a prompt appeared before me.
Unnamed Dungeon core Rank E has been Destroyed
I would stare at the simply prompt unsure what it meant until I realized it and sighed. Looking up to the sky “really?” I spoke out to nothingness. It seemed that somehow someone already found my dungeon and destroyed it during the night or even just a few minutes ago. I would shake my head sighing know I’d have to find a better place to experiment when another menu appears.
Speed Runner Achievement unlocked! an adventurer as cleared your dungeon in record time since its creation you have gained 10 additional points
Staring at the screen I couldn’t help, but to bust out laughing. This means even when I fail if I do something crazy enough it can warrant an achievement that could make dungeons easier to take care of. Sighing I got dressed and headed down to eat breakfast before heading back out to the forest. I started to gather medical herbs, and since I started much earlier this time around I managed to gather over 30 of these herbs but I decided not to gather any extra so I don’t over harvest them. In the future I would find a way to easily farm these with no consequence but for now this is enough, so I would head back to the guild and turn them in. After receiving 73 bronze coins after the guild took their portion from the original 81 coins, I headed back to the inn to get another night taking me down to 53 coins. Knowing I needed a better way to carry things with how I had to hold the herbs, and I needed a better weapon. This simple dagger wasn’t going to do me any good against a wolf.
While looking around I started to pay attention to this place more, noticing all the different people going back and forth buying supplies. Even some kids helping their families with the stores be it a stall or a building. While looking at the town itself the roads are paved cobblestone as wagons go across pulled by more than simply horses. There was one that was pulled by what looked like a Rhino but it had scales and three eyes. While the level of livelihood seemed to be medieval-like from my world they do seemed to be closer to the Renaissance era.

Walking around enjoying the sights of this town I noticed a sign that seemed to scream magic shop. Staring at it for a few minutes I would let out a sigh, I want to enter it but I knew their prices had to be far higher than I had so it would be pointless window shopping. Instead I kept going onto I found a general store called The Cat’s Eye. Entering into the store I was greeting by a Beastman women, to be specific it was a Nekomimi, a girl with cat ears, tail, and in this case eyes as well. The grinning smile on her face very much reminded me even further like those on cats. Standing about 6 foot 3 inches, with bright red hair.
Looking at the walls of the shop I noticed various items on sale, just like you’d expect from a general store having a little bit of everything. There was bags, baskets, food, maps, rods, and much more. Walking over to the leather bags I started to look through them hoping to find a cheap one big enough to carry various plants. While looking over the bags a surprising sweet voice interrupted my thoughts as the woman called out to me from behind “can I help you find what you’re looking for?” looking back to her I smile bit awkwardly scratching back of my head. I would turn my attention to the bags “well I’m looking for something that can carry a bunch of plants for a low price” I stated to her, hoping that she can indeed help me.
She would simply nod to my words and reached out grabbing a fairly small bag, more of a pouch, which seems to be able to hold, if going by the herbs, about 30 herbs on its own since they don’t take up a lot of room. “This is about 20 copper” she stated, I nodded and took the bag then I went over to look at the wooden rods. They was of various sizes, I took ahold of a long rod about six feet long along with, 1 and half foot diameter. “How much is this?” I asked her, which the girl gave me a strange look for a second before speaking “the clothesline pole is about 20 as well” she states. “Then I’ll take it as well” I would state to her paying her the 40 coins I headed out and continued to explore the town until nightfall. I found there to be a magic shop, a blacksmith, a library, the general store, a bakery, various inns, a couple of taverns, and some red district shops that I decided to stay away from.
After returning to the inn I had my dinner then returned to my room to prep for tomorrow. I had two goals, one make a new dungeon and actually try to make it defensible, and two get a lot more money. If I could find some wolves then I could earn a lot more than the previous days.
