The following morning I headed out to the forest again, gathering any herbs I found on my way deeper into the forest. I put my sights to a place even deeper in the forest where people hopefully wouldn’t go. Deciding that doing wolves was a bad choice since there was that request to hunt them. After walking for some time, I also figured I might as well just stay in the dungeon tonight and return tomorrow. I kept my eyes out for any natural wolves though, keeping my staff in my hands in case I needed to use it to defend myself.
I soon begun to hear growls coming from my left, causing me to make some distance from the growl turning towards where it was coming from. I held the staff ready knowing if I run then I was probably going to die. After what felt to be a long time, a wolf begun to step out of the bush in front of me, having dark brown fur and the full intention that I was its prey in its eyes. Taking a lower stance, even though I’ve never used the staff I was now having to use it in a fight. The wolf and myself, just stared at each other for some time before suddenly the wolf charged towards me. I waited for it to approach as it lunged I swung my staff sideways striking the wolf sending it tumbling off to the side. I immediately turned towards where it got sent and got back into the stance I was in. I watched as the wolf slowly got up struggling a bit as blood leaked down the side of its head.
It looked at me with signs of pure hatred now, as it rushed again not desiring to give up. I simply waited again for the last second to strike this time swinging downwards so the wolf couldn’t try to dodge in the air. Slamming the wolf down hard onto the ground it whimpered laying there and then went quiet. I stood ready in case it wasn’t dead yet, but then a following screen told me otherwise.
Achievement Unlocked Monster Slayer 1
You have slayed your first monster! Receive 10 points.
Staring at the screen I started to chuckle at first then shouted “YES!” as I feel onto my ass, shaking. Noticing how badly my arms shook I realized how scared I actually was. Taking a deep breath I calmed myself before rising back up, taking out my dagger and retrieving a fang from the wolf. I wondered if I could put the corpse into my dungeon inventory, unsure I put my hand on it. Concentrating on it to enter the inventory it suddenly vanished and I felt it in my inventory. With a grin I continued on knowing this could help my dungeon.
I continued walking, until the sun was reaching 4pm on the horizon. I knelt down in a small clearing in the forest figuring this might as well be the spot I should choose. Putting my hand on the ground I concentrated on creating a dungeon when a familiar screen appeared.

Though this time I had more points to spend thanks to my two achievements I had gotten earlier or so it appeared. If I wanted to get stronger starting dungeons I had to be sure to do everything I could in hopes of getting more achievements. While I had more points there wasn’t much I could do still, as most of the things costed more than I had extra. Staring at the options I decided to go a lot harder on the monster front and forget the themes this time around. I selected wolves and goblins taking 100 of my points then the zero points caves and zero points no theme. Leaving me with 20 points leftover in case I could get something cheap from the dungeon shop.
I felt my mana rapidly leave me again as the ground shook and raised before me forming into a cave mouth. After it finished I entered the cave and saw that it was similar to the last one, except the stone had a slightly whiter color with the little bit of light I could see with. I looked at it confused rubbing my hand across it trying to concentrate on it using analyze and I was told it was marble. Surprised I guess that my dungeon’s walls are made from the materials in the area when I create it. Learning that now was a shock, deciding not to doodle I headed for the core room and begun work on the dungeon. Looking at the hologram lay out I decided to first work on the layout. Knowing that the dungeon only had 100 mana, I began to wonder if I could channel my remaining mana into it, but decided to try so later. I decided to extend the hallway between the two rooms and construct a small 3 by 3 squares room, not knowing how big that actually is. The ground would shake and shutter as the dungeon rebuilt itself.
I looked at the hologram and noticed the room didn’t get finished, but the design is still on the map, looking over at the dungeon’s menu I noticed that it was because the dungeon’s mana already ran out. Deciding to try my earlier Idea I concentrated on pushing out the mana inside me into the core against my hand. After a few seconds I felt the energy leaving me I canceled it before too long as I only had about 100 mana left myself after making the dungeon. Looking at my status I noticed that I only had ten mana left, deciding to see if it worked I looked at the dungeon’s menu and notice it had 90 mana again. I grinned at this discovery and begun to get back to work.
I finished the room and hallway, and went through the menu trying to find if I could get any lights and found that I could create wall torches already. So I created a couple in the first and second rooms, so I could see better then went to work on some monsters. I selected to summon a full grown goblin and a full grown white wolf. It was going to take all my mana but I needed something to fight with, I chose to have them appear in the new second room. When they appeared I felt the changes in my body thanks to my Personification ability. My eyes could see better, I could hear better, and I felt like I could do more delicate work with my hands. I decided to bring out the dead wolf from before receiving a prompt to absorb it. The body turned into particles of mana.

I would stare confused at the new pop up until a grin started to slowly appear at the implications of this new screen. It appeared as-long as I did stuff related to my dungeons I would get experience, with this new information I’d look forward to the room with my monsters as I walked forward with a grin plastered on my face.
