Wondrous eyes gazed at Arbor from across underneath a tree. Arbor studied the beast as it stood on its four legs and began to slowly walk circles around him while sticking in the shadows. The absence of pressure radiating from the beast portrayed to Arbor that it would be harmless to him. Occasional growls and noises of interests sounded from the shadows. Eventually Arbor paid no heed to the beast. As the time passes slowly, while Arbor tried to improve upon his leaf spell, he noticed that the amount of growls over took the other noises.
A sudden inspiration took Arbor’s attention away from his surroundings as he started to change the leaf that hovered above his right palm. Slowly the leaf began to shrink. As the size decreased, so did the frailness. Its original size was six inches, but is now three. The shaped changed and morphed under Arbors control from a cordate shape to obovate. then to subulate. The morphosis happened slowly at first with only the single leaf. Some time later, the change happened between three leaves with random changes between the three shapes.
As Arbor was stuck in his thoughts the beast continued studying him. Occasionally, it would would stop move directly towards Arbor before deciding against it. Shortly after the three leaves appeared an understanding look appeared in its eyes. From behind, it made its way towards Arbor.
Out of the shadows stepped a commanding four legged beast. Two curled husks protruded from the sides of its snout. Extending from its spine are thick spikes covered by even smaller spikes. Its fury tail hung down and swayed slightly as it walked. Patches of scales and fur cover its body, giving the beast a blotched look. As the creature got within a few feet of Arbor, it halted its paw in mid air for a brief second. Smelling Arbor, the look in its eyes became full of hatred, disgust and bloodlust.
Arbor was woken by the sound of sniffing that sounded from the back of his neck. The multiple leaves that are dancing in Arbors hand suddenly stopped. His focused eyes widened while his body went stiff. Sweat rolled down his forehead as a chilling pressure descended upon his body. This pressure is comparable to standing under a waterfall, while his past fights were that of draining water from a basin.
While, sitting down, Arbor turned his head and came face to face with the ugly beast. He carefully backed away and stood up. Standing tall at sixty five inches, the best is slightly larger than himself. This strength of this beast is equivalent to someone at the peak of Body Fortification and has half a foot into the Qi Establishment realm.
A gurgling sound came from the creature before its before charged towards Arbor. The beast arrived before its prey could react in time. The sounds of bones shattering and blood spraying were caused from the bite of the beast. Next, the beast threw Arbor by his hand into a nearby tree.
Arbor crashed into the tree and fell to the ground. I see laid there completely still, arbor started running situations through his head on how he could fight this creature.
Please leave the animal made its way to Arbor. As it stood above him and in the process of biting his neck, it was met with a fist to its throat. This fish did little damage due to the difference in cultivation. But, a day cause the animal to move back a couple of feet and start coughing. It quickly recovered.

With his Left arm broke and bloodied at his side Arbor ran towards the beast. Unfortunately, this beast is much faster than Arbor. This time, Arbor sacrificed his already broken arm in defense against a ferocious sweeping attack from the beasts paw. This attack completely shattered his arm. Two open bone fractures occurred with his radius and ulna.
At the same time, Arbor screamed in pain and countered with a kick of his own. Instead of it being an offensive kick, Arbor used it to kick off the beast and put distance between the two. As quick as he landed Arbor began to escape.
A game of cat and mouse started as soon as Arbor left the vicinity. When the beast caught on to Arbor trail, it took to the shadows. At times it would burst through a tree just to stay out of the sun.
The game of chase turned into a predator toying with its prey. The beast appeared to purposefully catch up to Arbor, injure him and then retreat. It would then allow him to gain distance again.
Bloody and broken, Arbor jumped to a short branch as best he could, then another a few more after that until he found himself close to the canopy. He quickly checked his surroundings before sitting on a branch.
Panting heavily, Arbor slowly spoke, “ I...think...I lost…it.”
Arbor bit down on a twig before gripping his forearm and snapping his bones back in place. Finding a couple more sticks and a few vines off of the tree and constructed a makeshift brace for his arm. If none of the seniors are going to help him, he decided that he will do it himself.
After catching his breath he began jumping from brand to branch with the hope that moving his position he get the beast off of his trail.
A half hour later Arbor set a top of a branch towards the top of a tree some five hundred feet in the air.
"It's going to be night soon. I only just connected the bone and I still need to find a place to rest. And to think that I wanted to be young again." Arbor moved his hand that was over his wound and his bones could be seen. Part of the bone had started to heal under his care but was not completely connected. There are cracks still present.
Arbor leaned back on the trunk of the tree and stirred up at the dusk sky. A few minutes past before the tree started to shake violently. Arbor set up and look down on the ground to see the same beast that had chased him earlier ramming into the tree.
"How did that damn thing find me? I need to move before it destroys this tree."
Arbor notice that a decently sized chunk of wood was gone from the trunk. As soon as he stood up to move, the screeching sounds from monkeys sounded out. The same three that he had fought earlier in the day came swinging down at him, blocking him in with the tree on the fourth side.
Unfortunately, Arbor was too slow to react and got hit from the front by one monkey and slammed into the truck of the tree. Then, another monkey from the side hit him off the tree. Blood vomited out of his mouth as his ribs broke upon impact, causing him to faint.
Seconds before Arbor would meet the ground a red streak of light flew past the three monkeys that stood on the branch Arbor was just on. In a fraction of a second, the red streak swept past Arbor and disappeared with him. Sounds of anger came from the monkeys and the beast as they witnessed their bully and prey disapear.
