It took me some time to compose myself as I heard the butler's footsteps, I breathed in deeply and wiped away my tears, I was scared that he would find traces of my tears so I stood facing away from him as I said "I shall be in my room".
I quickly scurried back the way we came as I navigated through the halls when I came upon an intersection and was puzzled between the two paths which looked eerily similar, I chose the right path and started walking hoping to find my room from which I had exited previously.
I was still caught up in thoughts, the gruesome sight of the tortured animals in the cell was still haunting me, I had thought Laura had not yet started her torture but I was wrong, oh how I wished I could have come here sooner to set those animals free.
I kept walking and found myself lost within the palace walls, it was a bad idea to try to return to my room on my own I thought as I turned back thinking to return to the intersection.
I walked back to the intersection only to find the butler heading my way with the two cages.
He seemed surprised at finding me at the intersection, I couldn't help but give a nervous smile to him.
"What are you doing here my lady?" he asked as he held the cages with the scared kitten and pup. "I want Maria to report to my room," I said having come up with an excuse, he nodded and said "As you wish my lady" with much respect which made me feel uncomfortable, and out of the blue I had goosebumps, I felt I was being watched but I decided to ignore it and followed the butler to my room through the left path.
Soon we reached the room and I made sure to remember which path I had to take.
The butler placed the cages carefully on the ground and bowed before saying "I shall now bring the meat my lady", I nodded acknowledging his statement.

I quickly found myself trying to calm the babies as the butler left the room. "It's alright baby" I said as I opened the kitten's cage carefully, trying not to scare it.
It meowed loudly in fear and hissed at me, I squatted down to seem less threatening as I held my hand out for it to smell to let it know I was not trying to harm it.
It scratched my finger leading me to start bleeding. The pup started to howl too to my surprise.
Before I could try calm them down a maid with bright red hair barged in with a worried look.
"My lady!" she said with much tension in her voice.
"The prince is here!"
I did my best to try understand what she said when the realisation hit me like a ton of bricks.
The 5-star character Adrian, the one and only prince of the Lunar kingdom was here!
I was quite startled, other maids rushed in "We have to get you ready my lady!" they said as they rushed me to a room.
It had been about 5 minutes or even less since I had been rushed into the dressing room yet I had turned from a messy beauty to a gorgeous princess.
I was in a navy blue dress, which glittered every time it moved.
I looked gorgeous in it, it looked as if the dress was made just for me.
Maybe it was made just for me, you know custom dresses.
But that is not important as I have to now face my bias in real life and also the person who executed Laura.
I was terrified but also excited to meet Adrian my crush and also Laura's crush, that was what I could get from the memories that I had written down.
The maids rushed me to a room with an even more extravagant door, I could hear the excitement in their breaths as they waited for me to open the door.
I took in a deep breath calming my nerves as I gripped the door knob.
'You can do this!' I told myself as I opened the door.
In sat on an even more extravagant sofa a tall man who was in his 20s, he had blond hair which glittered like gold, his eyes were the colour of the deep sea, aqua blue, his lips were rose as a peach and his skin was as white as milk.
He was a beauty to behold, and I could not calm my nerves whatsoever, I was excited to even be blessed with the sight of him. I gulped hard as I tried to calm down the fan girl in me.
"Welcome your Highness" I said having calmed myself down. The fear of impending death helped calm the fan girl in me a little bit at the very least.
