I kept my tea cup down as I kept telling myself, 'Keep a calm and serious face and DO NOT SMILE LIKE A FOOL' on repeat as I gathered myself to look at him.
But there was my bias in the flesh sitting right in front of me! His blue eyes and his defined jaw, his serious look, his posture, his body, the way he sat and everything about him made me excited, I could feel something deep in me clench in anticipation. My facial muscles would just not relax, I couldn't help the smile that was forming I had to look away from him as I bit my inner lip. I took a good minute trying to calm myself down. I looked back at him much to my surprise he seemed more serious. I closed my eyes shut as I breathed in deep. I opened my eyes as I finally managed to control my facial muscles when I saw he had furrowed his eyebrows now.
I clenched my toes to keep calm as I opened my mouth to explain the plan.
A good few minutes passed with me discussing the details with him. When we were finally done he looked at me as if he was seeing a stranger. I didn't know when but somewhere in the middle when I was explaining my plan to him, my facial muscles had relaxed and I had forgotten I was talking to my BIAS. But oh well it all ended well in the end. I looked back at the teacup which was now empty, I was thirsty after all that explaining and could really use some tea right then.
My bias with a serious expression had rested his face on his hands which were supported by his thighs I continued my gawking with no shame as I tried to control my facial expression.
He looked back at me and closed his eyes as he gave a soft smile.
He sat up erect as he opened his eyes, revealing two magnetic jewels.
"I am surprised", he said. His voice was so dreamy I almost got lost in it before dragging myself back to the present.
"What do you mean your highness?" I asked.
Our eyes met, and silence followed before he rubbed his lips as he maintained eye contact with me.

"I am surprised by this whole situation my lady", he said.
I tilted my head slightly questioning his words as he gave a slight giggle.
"Today, I have been exposed to a new side of you, I wonder how much more I have to discover about my very own fiance", he said. My mind went blank, I sat there processing his words he got up and bowed slightly extending his arm to me.
I sat there staring at his hand for a few seconds before I realised he was asking for me to hold his hand.
Though surprised by this gesture I quickly grabbed his hand in a hurry and stood up straight leaving all elegance behind.
He chuckled a bit before looking at me and giving me a sly smile. "It seems like make you nervous my lady" he said as he walked around the table and next to me with my hand in his.
He stepped a bit closer to me before whispering in his silky smooth husky voice, "Would you mind guiding me to the divine beasts?"
My heart rushed, as I looked at my feet, nervous, shy and excited. I bit my lips as I felt myself turning red, I scrunched my eyes as I took in a deep breath and nodded in silence. I could hear him trying to control his chuckle.
He calmed himself down a bit before saying "Then please take the lead, my lady".
I took in a deep breath and opened my eyes, I avoided his face as I slowly walked with his hand in mine to the door.
I clasped the knob and opened it.
I could hear the ladies gasp looking at me holding the prince's arm. I looked up shyly and slowly started walking towards my room.
I was so nervous!! I was trying to remember the way I came as I guided the prince to my room.
And at last, after what seemed like an eternity I reached my room, my heart was still trying to come out of my mouth.
'thump, thump' I heard ring in my ear. My heartbeat was so loud! I was hoping the prince didn't hear it too.
I clasped the doorknob once again, and I could feel his hand retreat in surprise. I turned around to see him taken aback as if he had just heard the earth was flat.
Behind him, the maids were even more taken aback with their eyes wide and all. I was well confused as to why.
A few seconds passed before the prince composed himself and couldn't help but chuckle.
I was visibly confused as to what happened when the prince opened his cherry lips and spoke "I keep seeing different sides of you today my lady, I wonder how I had not discovered this earlier".
"I didn't think you were brave, and yet here I find you are brave enough to have a man come into your bedroom".
It took me a second to process but soon I realised I was in a game which was set in medieval times, I couldn't help but laugh at my own stupidity as I tried to get rid of the embarrassment in front of my BIAS.
As the awkward moment persisted I could hear hurried footsteps rush towards us. I turned to look and it was the butler wearing a worried expression rushing towards us.
