Adrian’s [Status] looked inspiring, just a bunch of 1’s and 0’s. He could only obtain a bit more of information from his [Status], which was the existence of levels, classes, and experience. Every bit more of Record that he found, Adrian thought it was more like a game. ‘I mean, look at those words and numbers, this is min-maxing at its purest form!’ And it seems that the Record thought the same.
Congratulations on receiving your [Status] player Adrian Dewitt. You will be teleported to Mundompio soon.
Congratulations! You have unlocked your [Titles] and [Skills] windows from your [Status].
[Titles]: List of passive abilities and benefits obtained by the Player.
[Skills]: List of active abilities or knowledge obtained by the Player.
Adrian wasn’t sure if he should be happy or not. On the one hand, he obtained skills like in a game; on the other hand… “What the fuck does knowledge mean?” Yeah, that was his reaction. He was infuriated because of the repeated appearance of knowledge in the notifications, and the fact he couldn’t understand it. There was some piece of information there, and it gnawed him.
Adrian calmed a bit after seeing the next message.
Congratulations! Through your thinking and rapid decisions, you have Maxxed a [Stat] in the tutorial settings. Not only that, but you also are the first member of your race to have Maxxed [Celeratio]. Two [Titles] will be received:
[Min-maxer]: The Player who was chosen to max a [Stat] and forget the rest. We do value that, so we are going to make your strength stronger and your weakness weaker. Rate of [Stats] have been modified to 2:4 for your common [Stats], [Celeratio] now has a rate of growth of 6:4.
[A-celeratioed]: He who has Maxxed [Celeratio]. Now [Celeratio] will have a growth rate increase of 15% and you will always know the time relative to you.
“Ah, yes. Math. My archenemy. I won't ever escape you, will I?” Adrian wasn’t an enemy of math but being kidnapped and then be forced to do math felt a lot like school, which he wasn't a fan of. And he totally ignored the word games of the [Titles]. “My [Stats] are shitter and my [Celeratio] is better, right, balance. He thought of it as a game trying to keep the meta balanced. 2:4 rate I guess it means a 50% normal rate and 6:4 a 150% rate, I really guess? If that’s true, there’s a 100% difference between [Stat] growing. Is like the Records are telling me ‘Min-max! Min-max!’, and sure, that’s what I am going to do.”
Adrian's [Status] opened once more as the previous tutorial notification vanished from his sight.

“Nice, my [Status] is gaining shape, now it is loooonger..." Adrian said while being moved out of the white room.

----------------------------------------
Adrian found himself in a cozy wooden house, your ‘mountain cabin’ type. The first things he saw were a red carpet, a lit fireplace, and wood walls made from logs. He then noticed that he wasn’t alone, there were five other people. A brown tall tough-looking guy, a woman that was drinking tea, a small guy looking out the window, and a pair of siblings.
The siblings were disputing, but something was off. Their lips moved slowly; the sound of their not-whispering conversation also felt slow. Now that he observed, the woman was still sipping from the cup. Adrian noticed one thing – [Celeratio]. There were two explanations: The quickness bonus from [Celeratio] or whatever the time perception meant. He was fonder of the second one. The movement from the siblings felt like they were a media player that had been put to 0.5 speed. It was more likely that his perception of time changed instead of becoming that quick. One thing was clear, he wasn’t quicker. When he stood up from what he was sitting, Adrian noticed that he felt a bit slower, but not like the others.
‘Record? Can I get a normal time perception? You know, living in seconds, not slow-motion.’ Adrian told to the Arcane Record in his mind when he felt that his mouth was slow, somewhat heavier.
Time perception set to International System. Now time is measured in seconds instead of gooseplanks lifetimes.
‘What the fuck is a gooseplank, and why would you use its lifetime as a unit of time?’ Adrian thought. ‘And why was that the default option?’
Now that time was right, the one he had lived his life, the towering beast of a man that was the brown guy approached him menacingly.
“Fight me!” The guy said to Adrian.
“No! Why! What the hell is happening?” Adrian asked back.
The woman left the cup at a coffee table and answered him. “Neither of us knows, we were transported here like you,” Her voice was calm and wise, Adrian joked in his mind about her maxing [Experenta].
“Okay, but why this guy wants to fight.” Adrian said, calmer than before, but pointing the guy in question. The woman shrugged.
“I’d like to test my [Stats]!” Answered the guy while showing muscle, like a bodybuilder. He had the body, to be honest.
“Is he serious?” Adrian talked to the woman, ignoring the poses of the man.
“Yes. He already traumatized that child.” The woman said while looking at the little boy at the window.
“Bro, what the fuck,” Adrian told the man. “Not cool.”
“He accepted to duel, and he lost.” The man said while looking directly to Adrian’s eyes.
“You know what, muscle head? I accept your duel.” Adrian said while getting ready.
“Oh shit, here we go again.” Said the woman to herself while facepalming. The siblings stopped arguing and sat next to the woman to have a better look at the fight.
“Come to me!” The towering man cried, and Adrian answered with his fist.
Adrian dashed to the man, but something felt off once again. He felt as the world became slower, but he also became faster. He started punching the man in rapid succession without giving him a chance. One second has passed. A rain of blow fell upon the man. Two seconds have passed. The man started moving, charging a powerful-looking right jab. Three seconds have passed. Adrian back-stepped, not because of the jab, but the face of the man. He was smiling, Adrian was sure his fist had no effects on him.
“You are a fast boy!” The man said after punching the air.
“And you a tough one,” Adrian called back, without noticing he was also smiling. “Did you Maxxed [Constituta]?
“Yes!” The man affirmed. “I can suppose you Maxxed out [Destretza]?”
Adrian did not answer, instead, he readied his fist and smiled with more grin. This was going to be a battle of attrition.
