Chapter 9-Noah In The Vast Void

As Noah returned to his room, a shadowy figure followed behind him. "Don't you crave power?" it persisted. Noah brushed off the insidious temptation.

The next day, Instructor Lina arrived at the class hall. As she entered the classroom, her presence commanded attention. "Today," she announced with a serious face, "I will show you a magical beast." The air buzzed with anticipation as eager minds leaned forward.

"Instructor Lina's voice, carrying a weight of seriousness. "This is a Demonic magical beast," she declared, her tone commanding attention. "Today, your challenge is to make this creature into submission using the overflow of your Ora."

The Instructor brought the creature before them, locked in a cage. It appeared seemingly small. Its form was ominous, with twin horns protruding from its forehead, eyes covered in inky darkness, teeth sharp as daggers, reminiscent of a vampire's, and a tail growing from its back. Each feature exuded an otherworldly energy that sent shivers down the spines of the assembled students.

"Channel your magical core," she urged, her voice steady and firm. "Let your Ora overflow and show this creature the extent of your power." Determined gazes met the daunting creature as the students prepared to unleash their magic.

"Instructor Lina's voice echoed through the classroom, "Gather your Ora in a single breath and release it with all your might," she instructed, guiding the students. Eager to heed their mentor's words, the students followed her advice. However, despite their best efforts, their magical cores faltered, unable to produce the desired overflow.

Frustration crept into their expressions as they struggled to achieve their goal. Seeing students struggle, Instructor Lina stepped forward, ready to demonstrate the technique herself. In a moment of quiet concentration, "she took a deep breath, gathering Ora within her core." As she exhaled, a flood of energy flooded from her, making all, the students hard to breathe. Even the demonic beast sensed the overwhelming power and started trembling.

"Now, it's your turn to perform Overflow," Instructor Lina told all the students, her gaze encouraging as she addressed her students. Efforts were made earnestly, but frustration soon clouded the room as students struggled to perform Overflow one by one.

Despite their best attempts, many of the students weren't able to perform Overflow. Yet, among the struggling students, some were able to get a grasp of it. Ahsinav, Ankeet, Angelica, and Rin, their faces concentrated. Through meticulous focus, they began to use Overflow more efficiently.

Instructor Lina watched with pride as these candidates showed their mastery. Among the struggling students who weren't able to use Overflow. Ankeet and Ahsinav appeared as the shining stars of the classroom as they began to exhibit a growing proficiency in channeling their Ora burst. Though their Overflows may not have matched the volume of Instructor Lina's, there was an undeniable power in their execution. By focusing, their Ora burst, producing overwhelming power.

As they performed Overflow, the atmosphere in the classroom changed, their Ora energy filling the air. The demonic beast locked in the cage started trembling from the raw force unleashed by Ankeet and Ahsinav. Ankeet and Ahsinav stood at the center of attention.

As the day's class came to a close, Instructor Lina motioned for Ahsinav and Ankeet to join her in her office to offer them personalized guidance on mastering Overflow manipulation. The rest of the students left the training room, their spirits exhausted by the day's challenges.

Among them, Angelica and Rin returned to their room, exhausted from the training. However, Noah found himself alone. As his classmates dispersed, each lost in their thoughts and reflections, Noah's sense of isolation only deepened. Unable to grasp the Overflow, he watched silently as his friends, Ahsinav and Ankeet, effortlessly mastered the art.

In an empty training room, Noah's frustration echoed off the walls like a lament. "Why, just why, can't I be like them?" he shouted. Doubt gnawed at his resolve as he questioned, "Am I doing it wrong?" Noah pondered aloud, his voice tinged with frustration. With a sigh, he decided to give it more time.

As the minutes turned into hours, Noah's tiredness grew. With each failed attempt, his frustration mounted, a simmering anger bubbling beneath the surface. Collapsed on the training room floor, "Damn it," he muttered, the words a bitter admission of defeat. "Why can't I use it? First Ukti, and now Overflow." His voice cracked with emotion.

"Is there that much difference between them and me?" Noah's words hung in the air, a haunting echo of his inner rage. In the dim light of the training room, he was left alone with his thoughts, grappling with the ghost of his limitations, uncertain if he would ever break free from its suffocating grip.

Exhausted from his struggles, Noah walked toward the cafeteria to grab some food, his footsteps heavy with exhaustion. Once his meal was finished, Noah returned to his room. Lying on his bed, he gazed up at the ceiling. Outside his window, the full moon cast a haunting glow, its silver light falling into Noah's room.

As he was about to sleep, Noah heard the voice of the shadowy figure that had haunted him before. And just as before, it spoke to him, its words a seductive whisper in the darkness. "I can give you powers if you want," the voice murmured, its tone coaxing and insidious. "You can be the greatest with my power."

Noah's heart quickened at the offer. The appealing offer to make him strong. Consumed by desperation, he reached out towards the shadowy figure. In an instant, the room crackled with an ominous energy, the air filled with demonic energy. As Noah's grip tightened, he felt a surge of power coursing through his veins, powerful and overwhelming. But with each passing moment, the darkness started consuming Noah.

A feeling of fear passed over Noah as he realized he was losing control over his body and slipping away into the void. Panic surged within him as he struggled to control the demonic energy. The shadowy figure dominating him with malevolent delight seized control. "A new vessel," it mused, its voice echoing with a sinister resonance. "This body is... pleasing."

Noah lost consciousness, his soul drowning deep down in the void. Meanwhile, in his room, demonic energy flooded with an overwhelming darkness. The sudden eruption of demonic power did not go unnoticed. Instructors and students felt the demonic energy throughout the academy, a chilling Ora flowing from Noah's room. With a sense of urgency, the Instructors rushed towards Noah's room. As they arrived, their worst fears had come true.

Noah turned into a demon. Before them stood a demon, a creature of nightmares. Three horns grew from its skull, and its crimson eyes burned like molten lava. Its teeth were sharp as daggers, its dark hair showing the demon's resemblance. It looked at the full moon from the window.

As the demonic entity stood before them, a chilling proclamation echoed through the room: "Finally, I'm free," it declared, its voice dripping with malice. Some Instructors swiftly mobilized, gathering information and formulating strategies to confront the demon. With grim determination carved upon their faces. They prepared to engage in a battle against the demon that had taken hold of Noah's body.

Meanwhile, others turned their attention to the safety of the students. Their priority is to evacuate them from the dormitory to the grounds below. They guided the confused students toward the exits with calm yet urgent instructions.
