Chapter 5- Hidden Gate of The Dungeon

As days melted away in a blur of training sessions, and classes. The first test of the first semester began. Instructor Lina's arrival signaled the beginning of the test.

"Today is your first true test," she announced, her voice echoing through the classroom, and for this examination, you'll be putting your magical powers to the ultimate trial." With a flick of her wrist, Lina created the teleportation spell, whisking the entire class away to the entrance of a mysterious dungeon.

Observing from the sidelines were not only the instructors but also the headmaster of the academy. Their eyes were keen with anticipation as they awaited the performance of the fledgling sorcerers. Miss Lina wasted no time in outlining the rules. "Within this dungeon lie eight different types of monsters, each one having a core of magical energy. Your task is to acquire at least two cores, regardless of their strength or rarity. There is one, boss monster in there, with dark core. If you can acquire that, you will receive the highest point. Remember, it's not only about the quantity but also the quality."

With the rules set, the students braced themselves as they were, teleported to various corners of the mysterious dungeon. Ahsinav and Rin found themselves standing amidst the dense foliage of the forest on the first floor. Meanwhile, Noah and Ankeet were on the second floor, greeted by the dry expanse of a desert landscape stretching endlessly before them. The scorching sun beat down upon the sand, making the challenge difficult. Angelica and Ivan, on the other hand, were on the third floor, where a chilling breeze swept across an icy terrain, leaving frosty patterns etched upon the ground. Their breath misted in the frigid air.

Each floor of the dungeon, presented its unique trials, testing the students' adaptability. From the verdant depths of the forest to the blistering heat of the desert and the icy chill of the frozen terrain the dungeon was a test full of elemental challenges that would push the students to their limits and beyond.

As Ahsinav dived deeper into the shadowy depths of the forest, the faint sounds of a skirmish caught his attention. Peering through the dense foliage, he spotted a group of candidates locked in combat with a fearsome werewolf. Without paying attention to them, Ahsinav pressed ahead. In the distance, a towering figure caught his eye – a formidable troll, its menacing presence casting a foreboding shadow over the forest floor.

As he prepared to confront, the monstrous foe. Ahsinav unleashed the power of the winds, shaping them into wind blades that sliced through the air with deadly precision. His first strike aimed at the troll's legs seeking to cripple its movements and gain the upper hand in battle. However, the troll dodged the attack and started swiftly, attacking Ahsinav with murderous intent.

Ahsinav dodged all the attacks but couldn't find an opening to attack, his mind racing as he prepared his next move. With a swift chanting, he summoned a big whirlwind. Its gale-force winds swirling around him. As the tornado bore down upon the troll, it attempted to flee after seeing a big tornado, but Ahsinav summoned a barrier of solid earth, preventing any hope of escape.

The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

With the troll cornered, Ahsinav seized the moment, his blade flashing with a brilliant intensity as he delivered the final blow. With a final, resounding strike, he killed the monstrous foe. Ahsinav collected purple core, pounding with raw magical energy, and started moving forward.

After hunting some werewolves, Ahsinav started heading to the second floor. On the way to the second floor, he found Rin fighting with trolls. She summoned blasts of water with a flick of her wrist and fired towards the troll leaving holes all over his body, amazed by Rin's display. Ahsinav approached her, "That was an impressive spell," he stated, his voice tinged with awe as he observed the aftermath of Rin's onslaught. Rin turned to face Ahsinav, "Was it?" she replied, a hint of uncertainty degrading her words.

Rin was a girl who had long dark blue hair like sapphire. She had green eyes that resembled tsavorite. Adorning her ears were earrings fashioned from the purest diamonds. Among her peers, Rin was known not only for her exceptional beauty but also for her keen mind and gentle behavior. She was the only person who was close to Ankeet.

As Ahsinav extended the invitation to Rin, to accompany him to the second floor, to which she agreed. Together, they started heading to the second floor. Upon reaching the second floor, their eyes fell upon a grisly sight – the lifeless bodies of defeated monsters spread across the ground.

"Why does he always make a mess wherever he goes?" Rin sighed, her voice tinged with exasperation. Ahsinav was in confusion, "Who did this?" he asked. But Rin merely shook her head, "Let's move to the next floor," she said.

Ahsinav and Rin started heading to the next floor. As they reached the second floor, the sounds of battle echoed through the passageways, drawing them closer to the source. Emerging onto the third floor, they were greeted by the sight of Noah, Angelica, and Ivan locked in a fierce fight against chimera – [a creature with the body of a lion, the wings of an eagle, and the fiery breath of a dragon]

Without hesitation, Ahsinav and Rin joined the fight. With a swift chanting, Ahsinav summoned a wind blade and attacked it from behind, immobilizing the chimera and providing his friends with the opening they needed to launch a combined attack. Noah, Angelica, and Ivan fought with unmatched skill and determination. The chimera's roars echoed throughout the third floor as its fiery breath met with the water blasts of Rin's magic.

"Have any of you seen Ankeet?" Rin's voice rang out, laced with concern.

"I was with him on the second floor, but he went ahead to the third floor a long time ago, and I haven't seen him since," Noah replied.

"Can you all help me find him?" she pleaded, her voice tinged with worry.

Noah hesitated, "Help him? he needs help? Didn't you guys witness what happened on the second floor?" he questioned,

Angelica intervened. With a firm kick to Noah's leg, she silenced his objections and turned to Rin with a reassuring smile. "Of course, let's find him together," she declared, leaving no one for argument.

As they ventured deeper in search of Ankeet, their quest took an unexpected turn when they stumbled upon a mysterious gate, its ancient runes glowing faintly in the darkness. Fascinated, they pushed open the gate and stepped into the chamber. As they entered, the room was bathed in a sudden burst of light, illuminating the scene before them.

Their eyes widened in surprise as they saw a figure seated upon a majestic throne, his form cloaked in shadows, With a single horn protruding from his brow and a lone eye flowing with demonic energy.

The Main Boss of the Dungeon POLYPHEMUS

Meanwhile, Ankeet was sitting on the pile of dead bodies of the chimera, and collecting their red core.
