“A self imposed quest is required to create your class. Once you set down on your path the system will recognize it, completion of the quest will be rewarded with a class. Classes can not be removed, or destroyed. The creation of a class is only possible under level 10.”
The Class Creation Guide was short, it was mostly a book about warnings. Warning about the risks and dangers involved, it said that one could even die during the process. A class was an integral part of one’s being, something that couldn’t be removed. It could change, and it would grow with you. Or diminish, depending on your circumstances. Taking on a class was no light matter, it was a decision of life or death. A botched class could result in never being able to grow stronger, and that didn’t seem right to Peter.
His stomach growled heavily, it had been two days since Peter ate anything, and the march through the woods consumed a lot of energy. Peter was baffled how Raul could still remain so energetic. In the sunlight Peter could now clearly see well defined muscles, veins pulsing through the man. He wondered what his physical stats were, probably a lot higher than his. Deciding for a moment if it was inappropriate to ask for somebody else’s stats, something that said a lot about somebody, Peter just went for it. Nothing to lose and a lot to gain.
“Raul, what are your stats?”
“My stats?”
Okay so Raul was wholly unfamiliar with gaming terminology.
“Your attributes, those that you find in your status.”
Wait a second, wasn’t there a method to share your Status with people?
“Raul trying thinking ‘Status’ and then something like ‘Show Peter’.

His physical stats were way higher than his. Stamina regeneration alone was five times his, and his strength was nearly double. No wonder Peter could see Raul’s muscles so clearly, the man was strong.
How did he use his attribute though, Raul was level one, which meant that he had gotten one.
“Raul, where did you place your attribute point?”
“Intelligence, it seemed so low. And I am no dummy!”
Well that explained it. Raul had the same plan as his probably, to even out his stats, get them to be around the same, and then maybe specialize.
His nature affinity had grown on its own, so he wasn’t going to put a point in that. Endurance was once again the best option, maybe it would even quell the hunger inside him.
He upped his endurance with one and then swiped away the screens.
“Hey Raul, we need to get some food. I was thinking to look around for some plants, I got a skill that say whether or not they are safe.”
“Yeah, lets get some food. I’ll look around for a pointy stick, maybe I could kill some wildlife. We shouldn’t stray to far from each other however.”
Peter totally agreed with that, Raul turned out to be a good companion so far, and he did not want to let him out of his sight.
And so they wandered for a while, Peter looking for nice plants, and Raul for stick and stones.
Unbeknownst to Peter the time he had spent looking and searching made his NAF stat go up by another point. It went up silently, he had not even gotten a blue box.
After a couple of hours of sweeping the forest they had both achieved their goals. Raul had managed to sharpen a stick with a good looking stone, and was ready to catch some wildlife soon. Peter had found a field with berry bushes, not the same ones he had seen before. The bushes were filled with lots and lots of small hairy berries, ranging from green to red and yellow. There were tons of them and they looked like they weren’t poisonous. To make sure he didn’t pass out, he let Raul eat some of them first. Raul said that they tasted good, and he was still walking, so Peter deemed them safe to eat.
They ate lots of them, until all the hunger they’d gotten was gone. Raul was pumped to go hunting, but first they needed to find a safe place to sleep.
So they continued the search, this time for an uninhabited cave. Peter really wanted to be able to sit for a couple of hours or so, and think about his NAF attribute, and his magical skills. But first they needed to be safe, and they couldn’t guarantee that now.
Especially not after they both had gotten the same ominous popup.
Warning! Monsters shall begin actively hunting in 24 hours.
