Under the warm sun, a tanned boy sat fishing on a small boat. His shoulder-length black hair fluttered while his brown eyes reflected the bright sunlight. His smile seemed tranquil, free of any care, until his fishing rod disturbed the mood.
The string was pulled, so his smile turned non-existent as he squinted his eyes while pulling on the rod. The sea waves rocked the small boat yet the boy's body remained steady as if he was used to it. Finally, he pulled the fish out of the sea and dropped it in his bucket, feeling satisfied at his accomplishment.
With his work done, he started rowing his boat towards land, tying a rope to avoid accidents and lastly going back home with a bucket full of fish. On the way, he met a beautiful tall ginseng with long pink hair that falls down to her hips and two unyielding pink eyes.
"Thought you'd stay in the sea just like last time." She snickered.
"Hmm.. Not really- the weather wasn't good enough, Sakura." He replied in an uncaring tone while pulling out a heat-keeping mug out of his backpack to drink tea.
"Is that so?" She held both her hands downwards while holding them, emphasizing their currently bountiful size that will grow bigger.
He shrugged. Both of them walked side by side until they reached the boy's home, entering in a practiced manner.
"I'm home." The boy said in a slightly loud voice so as to alert the residents.
"Welcome back, Bòhé chá. From the looks of it, you've brought a great haul today." Greeted the mother as she coincidentally passed by, noticing the full bucket.
Every one in a while Bòhé chá would go out to fish in the sea after picking up this hobby from one of the residents. His calm and quiet nature went well with the relaxing fishing trips with a bit of adrenaline when the catch turns out to be a hard and wild one.
Putting the contents of a bucket inside a refrigerator, he washed his hands to join Sakura who was waiting for him to get ready to go out.

For the past 3 months, Bòhé chá got to know most of the citizens in this small town, all of them happy with the Tea family's arrival, but a week after his arrival, he met Sakura.
She, however, was very wary of him at the very beginning, not letting Bòhé chá have a chance to redeem or even befriend her. Fortunately, that only lasted for a few weeks, up until they had their first 'alone time.'
On the contrary, that 'alone time' was nothing special other than in a literal meaning: they became alone together for a bit.
When Bòhé chá was still learning about handling boats and fishing, the (unyielding) parents forced Sakura to go on a fishing trip with Bòhé chá for the first time, and so that happened. She, of course, wanted them to compromise by always watching them from afar, and so came their alone time.
On the rocking boat came their first conversation, and from it they found a common ground and ever since then, they grew closer.
Bòhé chá found out later that Sakura's initial reason for wariness was due to her low amount of interaction with boys, always being told to watch out for the vile beasts waiting at every corner to taint all holy ginsengs.
Alas, such misunderstanding(?) was undone, hence their current relationship.
In the meantime, Bòhé chá's cultivation rose steadily until he learned the 'Sun Tea's Absorption Arts.' Those arts allow Bòhé chá's skin to become cultivation solar panels, absorbing sunlight causes his body to grow stronger, and that in of itself isn't reliant on his cultivation, meaning that it is like using two cultivation techniques at the same time, and he is!
For he now is able to cultivate without needing to sit in a particular position, add to that the bonus from just taking in the sunlight! A fascinating thing that caused him to break through level 100 after a mere month of being level 50!
Blessed by plot, he was. While in his spare time, he also picked up some xianxias, finding the uncanny similarity between his life and the other protagonists'. As such, he became determined to try and become different, to become the ultimate, clichèless protagonist... Problem is, the idea in of itself is clichè, thus nullifying all his hard work, but he didn't care and still persists in his quest.
Now, he strives to live away from the unknown and annoying young masters; however, what he doesn't know is that he isn't the one searching for problems, problems are.
"Come on!" Sakura hurried Bòhé chá who finally dressed.
Sighing, he went towards the active little ginseng, wearing sandals, shorts, and a hawaiian shirt in contrast to Sakura's jeans and shirt.
He smiled slightly as they left the house, feeling blessed for having such a calm life. But he knows... it is merely a calm before a storm.
