Chapter 13: Well-matched.

**Guest Room**

Silence permeated in the room as Shiroki and Ellen slowly sipped their tea provided by a servant. It would seem that both of them have a hard time to initiate a conversation. Foul remained on guard outside the room observing his surroundings and keeping watch for any danger. His sleepy eyes had a sharp glint to it as his ears twitched slightly as he felt disturbances in the area. He fixed his posture that had leaned against the wall to a battle-ready stance, gripping his short word sheathed at his back as he scanned the area contemplating if he should release his spirit essence to identify the disturbance better.

Before he could move, a shadow suddenly appeared beside him in a flash. Foul quickly turned towards the shadow, ready to intercept any attacks when he immediately recognized the shadow that appeared before him.

[At ease, friend] Balamore quickly gain control and raised her hand gesturing Foul to calm down. Foul stood up straight and released his grip on his sword. Again, before he could ask her the situation, Balamore spoke up as if she read his mind.

[Please stay here and guard lady Ellen along with your young master. This is our household. Leave the situations here in our hands] Balamore simply stated so and just as quick as she came, she left.

"....I almost could not react to her....interesting, fufufu," Foul smiled as he relaxed and leaned his back on the wall again, remembering to listen in to his young master's voice. Normally, he would be accused of eavesdropping. But it is one of his duties to keep an eye on his young master. Conversations included.

It had been silent until now. But it would seem that his young master was about to reach his limits. He ought to speak up sometime soon. There's the fact he had not seen Ellen for a couple of Diems. There's probably a lot that he had to get out of his chest.

If there is any cheesy lines, as expected of young master....fufufu, they will be great 'teasing' materials. His lips began to curl upwards and amusement was clear upon his face.

After moments of hesitation. Shiroki finally broke the silence.

[Ellen.....this...everything....what really happened...?] Shiroki could not help but asked this. Presently, he was extremely confused. He had wanted to save Ellen, but the person in question seemed completely fine and did not seemed to require any saving. Not anymore at least. But still, it did not answer his question of how things ended up this way.

A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.

[Shiroki-san....the truth of the matter is....] Ellen opened her mouth and was about to explain the circumstances but then suddenly...

**BOOM BOOOM BOOM**

A series sound of explosions thunders the Vier household. Both of them were startled and hurriedly got up. Anxiety and worry written all over their faces. Shiroki moved closer to Ellen as if to protect her and asked.

[Foul! What is going on?!] Shiroki.

[Stay inside Waka....Balamore promptly came here to warn me a while ago. They will handle it] Foul said as such as he detained both of them from going outside.

A strong gust of wind blew the surrounding, swaying the grass and tree leaves as if in a storm. All of the spirits in the household firmly stand their ground at their respective places as they would have been blown away otherwise. Foul calmly erected a barrier around them and thus render them unaffected by the wind. They could not help to wonder however who would have caused such as disturbance. Especially so since it was only a short amount of time had passed since the aftermath of the rampaging demon spirit beasts. One could only imagine how powerful the instigator is.

Is it the perpetrators? The spirits could not help but think as such considering the recent events.

HAHAHAHAHHHAHAHHAHAHHAHAAA

A jolly laugh rang out throughout the residence. While it sounded so, the spirits felt a shiver ran down their spine. Without exception, Shiroki and Foul felt it as well. Ellen was deeply affected and fell down to her knees, cold sweat running down her beautiful face.

The strong gale continued to beat down the residence. Vier walked out of his room with a darken and solemn expression. Balamore was at his side.

He swiftly closed his eyes and furrowed his eyebrows as if annoyed, and proceeded to casually wave his hand. At the same time as he does so, a calm streaming wave of spirit power spread out  and propagated throughout the entire household which immediately cancel the violet surging winds. The area became quiet once more until...

[You Old FOOL! Can't you make a NORMAL entrance for ONCE?!] View looked up and bellowed, pissed at the one responsible causing such a 'grandeur' entrance to his household.

Balamore on the other hand, was snickering at the side.
