Diane walked over and picked up a small revolver handgun from the table.
Travis and Morgan loaded the bolt action rifles with five rounds each.
“They are on the ground outside.” Diane said as she closed her eyes.
“There are ten outside on the front lawn and Ten in the back. Four on the roof.” Diane pulled the hammer back, readying the revolver to fire.
“You think we're good right here?” Travs asked.
“For now, yes, they would have burst in here and shut us all down with a paralyzing hypnosis blast already, what's stopping them?” Diane asked Travis.
“These guys, I have them all over the house.” Travis pointed at the Magnets hanging all around the house.
“Good thinking.” Diane said as she took aim at the front window.
“Wait guys get down, Snipers.” Diane jumped down and pulled Jamie off the couch.
Travis and Morgan hit the deck. Bullets flew through the windows. The bullets slammed the tables and monitors, the lights cut out and they were in pure darkness aside from the sparks that flew from the monitor screens. The storm blew into the house with snow and winds.
“Aggh Fuuuck. They got my leg.” Travis held the side of his leg where blood was spurting out profusely onto the floor beside him.
“I told you to get down.” Diane said out of frustration.
“Yeah I heard, I was Tryna get a read on them in the Tree line, agh fuck.”
Travis crawled over to his table where all the good supplies were now shot busted up and on the floor in a mess.
Travis grabbed the first aid kit with a bullet hole through it and pulled out bandages and a morphine shot which he administered himself stabbing the little needle end into his thigh.
The cold sensation was enough to subside the pain and also just enough to calm his nerves and get a hold of himself.
“Morgan?” Diane called out.
“Yes.” Morgan replied, laying on the floor in the strobe lighting darkness.
“The visitors have retreated to their ship with their wounded and dead.” Diane said and continued after a brief pause.
“The men are approaching from the trees wearing Night vision holding unique advanced rifles.”
“Perfect, Morgan, take these.” Travis said and rolled metallic objects across the floor to Morgan, which he saw rolling to him through the darkness and sparks from the broken monitors.
Morgan picked up the passed metallic objects and held them close as he got to his knees.
“Morgan, pull the pins now and throw them through the front window.” Diane told Morgan while she laid over Jamie and held out her pistol to the front door.
Travis held up his rifle to the front door. The Metallic object flew through the busted front bay window and popped into the snow in the front yard.
The Flash bangs went off and The Intruding group came through the front door at the same time blinded and firing rifles. Morgan, Travis and Diane Fired their weapons.
The first two geared guys fell to the floor as bullets penetrated their suits and helmets.
Travis was quick and didn't stop firing till his rifle was all out of rounds in the built in magazine.. Then quickly pulling out his lighter and throwing an explosive of his own creation.
Travis threw a jar of nails and screws out the front door that had a short lit fuse dynamite attached to it. Exploding the front entrance door and sending nails and screws flying into and killing the grouping outside the entrance and in the front yard.

“I sense more on the approach from the back get down!” Diane said as Travis and Morgan fell to the floor the house's back windows and walls were being blasted. The advanced rifles tore apart the back wall.
“We need to move, they are throwing in Grenades.” Diane said.
*********
Jamie was on the table when the machine pulled out its long metal surgical tubing. The grays walked up around her and Dragged her helpless naked body off the table and to another room. She was able to scream again.
“Where are you taking me, what are you doing?” Jamie asked and heard one of them say in her mind while she was scratching the floors trying to hold onto something.
“Your baby is now ours, all your babies ours to eat.”
The statement was enough to send Jamie into a panic and start to thrash and kick and she managed to kick free from one of the gray aliens.
Jamie got to her feet while scrambling to get up and run. Jamie ran and slid around the messy slimy metal flooring the place stunk like ammonia and shit. Large black oozing chords hung and entrailed the walls of the long hall. Her bare slimy feet would hit and trip over the long slimy cords which moved after she would bump them. She got back to her running stance, breathing heavy as she ran, her heart was booming. Jamie could hear them screeching, scratching and clawing the metal flooring, clanging and banging as they pursued her through the crafts halls.
She turned into an open dome metal room and saw a huge metal processing unit that was grinding up cut up body parts and churning them in a huge blood red vat. Grays working in the room stopped and turned with human body parts in their hands. Standing and looking at Jamie with their round black eyes.
Then she ran back out the dome room and looked down the hall at the grays weirdly scrambling up the hall at her like freaks of unknown nature, cracking sounds came from their twisting and turning bones like their joints were double or even triple jointed.
Jamie turned and ran down the darker warmer hall. Reaching the end the door opened and She saw sitting inside the room of metal tables, a huge number of reptile humanoid beings sitting drinking blood. Some were even taking bites out of fresh subjects restrained on the tables.
Jamie stood in place as the Grays caught up behind her and yanked her out and started to drag her back down the dark halls of the craft. Jamie screamed for her life.
********
Diane and Morgan tried to pick Jamie up off the floor as The grenades flew through the windows of the back wall. Landing by the tables and files They exploded and it sent Morgan, Diane and Jamie flying across the room in between the front door and kitchen just before the hallway which led upstairs. Jamie landed near some files that were on fire which caught her arm on fire and she woke up screaming out of her hypnosis, scared but relieved to be out of her nightmare experience.
Jamie hit the fire on her arm putting it out and covering her head as she heard gun fire and bullets hitting and flying through the upstairs rooms. She crawled on her hands and knees beside the others then covered her arm with her left hand and held in her winces of pain.
Diane couldn't feel her right arm and couldn't move. Laying on the ground with a loud ringing that was drawing out the sound of everything she couldn't hear anything. Blood coming out of her mouth. She tried to cry as Travis ran to her side and pulled her back to the kitchen counter. sitting down to rest her on his lap, his back against the counter. Holding her tight as tears rolled down his face.
“Travis what do we do?” Morgan asked his cousin.
Travis sat there looking into Diane's eyes, Her right ear was blown off along with her arm and right leg. Blood was pouring out of her.
“Travis!” Morgan yelled.
“Go take one of their rifles and you both make your way down the hall. There's a door that will take you to the cellar. Go out the exit in the back and make your escape through the woods.” Travis said to Morgan and they made eye contact.
“What about you?” Morgan asked his cousin who looked back down and moved some bloody hair from Diane's face.
“I can’t leave her like this.” Travis replied and pushed Morgan with his hand.
“Go, get the fuck out of here.” Travis said to Morgan who turned and took Jamie's hand and crouched and walked, They both ducted low enough to be counter height. Morgan stopped and picked up a rifle off one of the dead secret service agents. Putting the sling around his upper torso and walking to the end of the hall with Jamie. They opened the large wooden door and walked in closing it behind them.
Travis sat there with Diane in his arms.
“Did you see it ending this way?” Travis asked The bleeding out Diane.
“I only wish we could have enjoyed more time together.” Travis said as tears rolled down his eyes.
Diane was growing colder putting her hand on Travis’ chest.
“Diane, I Love you.” Travis said to her. Diane put her bloody hand on the side of his face. Then it fell cold to his lap.
Travis sat there with tears rolling down his face then laid Diane down with her head on his lap. The blood still leaking on his thighs from her wounded head.
Travis was shaking and he brought out his smokes and found his lighter beside him on the bloody ground. He picked it up and wiped it off best he could on his shirt, then lighting one up and taking a few drags. Travis then pulled out his gun and looked at it on his lap.
He inhaled a few more drags of the cigarette. Travis heard the footsteps of the group of secret service agents making their way in through the log house. Travis threw the smoke into the fire now engulfing his monitor stands and back house hold wall.
Travis closed his eyes and sat back against the counter top.The secret service guys moved in.
“ Clear the first floor!” The agents moved into the living area. While he heard a second group moving upstairs to clear the bedrooms.
“First floor clear, two dead.” one of the agents said out loud.
“Good clear the rest of the rooms, kill all remaining and torch the house.”
Travis then picked up the bloody pistol from his lap and shot the first two that were standing right beside him. They fell to the floor dead. And he began to shoot at the others missing his shots. Travis then pulled out a small back remote.
Travis felt his insides burst as he was being shot by the high powered rifles.Blood flying out of him in pools of red mist. The pain made his hand clench the remote and he gripped the pull lever and exploded the log house with him and all the service agents inside.
Morgan and Jamie were far outside of the house in the pines, Freezing and cold. The blizzard was beating down on them. Travis felt the cold side of his face when he turned to see the giant flames from the explosion engulf the log house and smoke fill the sky above.
Darkness was only ahead of them. Morgan stopped to hold Jamie in his arms. Their warmth was disappearing even though they were holding each other. They stood in the cold winter pines and spruce trees covered in snow..
The blizzard was too much. They were beginning to freeze with no coats on and Morgan’s tiny thin snow cap didn't do much for the cold.
