The flowers danced and the grass bends to the sway of the wind.
At the foot of a tree lies a family of three, a peaceful sight to behold. As the child sleeps in her mother’s embrace and her to her husband’s strong shoulders.
He gazes at his family, burning their peaceful faces to memory. For the next time that they will meet may never come. He will leave them behind. Yes. But not of his choosing.
To spend a moment with the two he fell in love with was precious and dear to this man. But… this two were also the evidence of his infidelity. To be stricken with lust for another woman when he was already wed, he was a sinful man. And to hide the truth from his wife that the love he had with another woman bore fruit was a source of great guilt for him.
The summer wind blows once more through the field of flowers, swaying grass and stirring the sweet scent of flowers in the air.
“I will always love you. Amara and my little Maya.” He said as he caressed the hair of his beloved.
“Please forgive me, I am but a weak man. Please….” He broke his gaze at the two as guilt and fear made him to do so
“?!”
A hand, warm and soft, holds his. Startled he looks up only to see the smiling face of the one he loves. She gave his rough and battered hand a squeeze, and looked longingly at the man she loved the most in this world. She knew where she stood, but that doesn’t mean she will not weep of their farewell. What was wrong of wanting happiness for her and her daughter, to be selfish and ask for him to stay or take them with him?
But this borrowed time will soon come to an end and along with it the joyful time she would spend with him.

In a small town near the fields of flowers, where people of all walks of life dwell.
This may have been the outskirts of the kingdom, but this place was along the road to reach the neighboring kingdom. Thus breathes the economy of the place, the hustle and bustle of a growing town could be heard everywhere. From bartering merchants too rough and rowdy old men drinking outside.
“Mother, let’s do our best!” a bright cheery girl, with a long brown hair to her waist, almond colored eyes and a small mouth called to her mother.
The child that looked like she was eight was with her mother, baskets filled with flower in hand. Yes. This two have lived for three years selling flowers they have picked in the field and was selling it in the town.
The mother gave her daughter a warm smile and patted the soft hair of the cheery little girl in front of her.
“Okay,” she said to her daughter. “Let us split up and see who could sell all her flowers first.” She continued, challenging the easily excitable youth.
“Yes!” came the bright reply of the child. With an innocent smile she took off towards the busy market place.
Energetic and lively, she saw her daughter off. After a while her smile vanishes, making the face she had a moment ago a lie. With a strong resolve in her eyes, Amara turns around and head to a street where she would never let her daughter walk.
This is for my daughter. With this is mind, her steps grew ever so slightly… lighter.
+/+/+/+/+/+/+/+
“Eh? Mother sold everything again?!” a small child said with a pout, while holding her mother’s hand as they walk together to their home outside the town’s walls. To the small battered house near the fields of flowers.
“It’s no fair! Mother keeps sending me to streets that doesn’t like to buy flowers! Mama you’re cheating!”
“Now, now. You are still a hundred years too young to ever think you can out sell me.” Amara replied with a teasing tone, trying to sate her daughter’s competitive spirit.
“Neh, what do you want for dinner?” she asked trying to change the topic.
“Mama! You are running away again!” the child said with a pout, but not answering her mother would make her feel guilty, so. “I… want potato stew…” she replied in a soft voice.
Amara with her sharp ears heard her daughter’s request and with a smile she replied with a “Leave it to me!”
The young mother and daughter continued to walk home hand in hand. Fresh vegetables in the baskets where flowers used to be.
Dinner was a relaxing affair for the duo, here they would talk about the most random of things, then clean up after themselves and would sleep early to save up on candles. And thus end another day for the duo.

The next day.
“Ahh, little Maya! I’ll buy some.” A muscular old man called out to the little vendor.
“Mr. Karon! Thank you for your patronage! Hehe” she said as she trots faster towards her first costumer for the day. The ever so muscular smith.
“Ugh, the sight of you buying flowers is disgusting.” The old lady beside him retorted.
“Oh, shut up you! This is my soul cleansing for the day!” He shouted at his wife.
“Ehehehe, the two of you get along so well.” The little vendor said with a smile as she looks at the bickering pair so early in the morning.
“Who would get along with this brute?!” the old lady retorted. “He even forgot our anniversary!”
“Who said I forgot about that?! You senile old fart!” he retorted, then rummaged through his pouch on his apron.
He held out a beautifully crafted ring made from silver. No expensive rock could be found, but the intricate and detailed design would have put to shame works of other skilled artisans.
He took the right hand of his wife and placed the ring on her ring finger. The beautiful ring was now on the wrinkled hand of the woman he had loved for fifty years and would continue to love until the day he breathes his last.
“Wow! So pretty!” Maya couldn’t help saying as her eyes were sparkling at the sight of the ring.
“Right?!” the smith said with a puff of his chest.
“Woah, so you didn’t forgot after all.” The old woman said as she caressed the new ring on her right a gentle smile on her face. The plain and simple golden ring on her left hand shined next to it.
“Ahh! Little Maya! I’ll order a little more than the usual, can you recommend any flowers good for a date?” The old smith asked, remembering why he called the small vendor to begin with.
This old couple has been good to the young vendor and would buy from her almost every day. The old lady would even go so far as to teach her how to read and write on days that business was slow. They always saw her as the granddaughter they never had.
“Yes! I recommend this!” she replies as she holds out beautiful red flowers to the old man.
After their transaction they bid farewell to Maya.
As her figure soon disappears, another muscular man appears from the door of the smith shop.
“Ma, Da. Congratulations on your fiftieth wedding anniversary.” He said as he held out two necklaces, that if put together would show a beautiful design of two birds, one carrying a hammer while the other a flask.
The old woman is an apothecary in the town, the two smiled at their son who have already took over the smith shop.
“Why don’t you just marry her mother already?!” The old man shouted “If you did, she would already be our granddaughter right now!”
“I was already rejected twice. I don’t think we have the right to judge her decision to raise her alone by now.” The son calmly respond.
Amara has never accepted any marriage proposals from the young men in town, her beauty and youth have attracted a lot of single men. Even with the knowledge of her having a daughter never deterred them.
But no one could sway the heart of the woman who chose to live life with her daughter, the untold reason of her still holding on to her wish to be with the father of Maya in her heart.
The old couple looked once more where Maya was, and gave a pained sigh. For they knew the secret work of Amara. She had bought medicine and potions to prevent pregnancies from the old woman’s shop after all…

After a few days, the birthday of her mother, Amara, was growing ever closer. Maya was thinking hard as to what to get for her mother.
As she was pondering, she forgot to look where she was looking at and…
“Ouch!”
“Ow.. ow…”
“That hurt! Look where you’re going!”
“I’m so sorry, I wasn’t looking…”
A collision with a young boy around thirteen made her bow her head.
“I am so sorry again.” She bowed her head once more and tried to run away.
“Hey wait!” the young boy grabbed her hand in time.
This caused the young girl to turn around, her beautiful hair swayed, her red rosy cheeks from shame of hitting someone earlier, and almond colored eyes wide with shock of being held.
The boy was dumbfounded of the beauty of the girl who has inherited most of her appearance from her mother and her eyes and nose from her father making her cuter right now, but would be an even more captivating beauty than her mother when she grows up as her body was still that of a girl.
He lost strength in his grip, giving her a chance to run away completely.
“W-who was she?” He unconsciously asked.
“Huh? What happened to you?” A big fat man wearing decorated clothing and jewelry, a rich merchant, his father, asked him, after sending his costumer off with a smile.
With a nasty smile on his face the boy just replied with “I think I just found a new toy.”
The father just burst in a hearty laugh, “If your “toy” have any cute “dolls” remember to share with your father. Gahahahaha!”
That afternoon, on their way home, she told her mother everything about what happened earlier.
“Did you apologize?”
“Yes! But I ran away after that…” Maya said blushing.
“Why?! Was he cute?”
“Mama!”
The duo bickered until they reach their home. And ended another peaceful day for them.
+/+/+/+/+/+
Three more days passed peacefully for the mother and daughter duo.
Maya have been saving what little she had for a gift for her mother. Her savings came from her selling out her flowers early and going to her patron’s shops and offer cleaning service for extra money. Moved by her enthusiasm they accepted her services, some even give her fruits or vegetables from their shops.
With the extra money, the young girl manage to save enough for a simple hair clip, and more ingredients to make a small feast for her and her mother. The clip made from bronze had a dazzling floral design, the details of which could even be mistaken as the real thing, was made by the old smith with care and love. Priced way too cheaply for such a product.
If you spot this narrative on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
She have already given her thanks to all the kind store owners for accepting her selfish wish to work. And was now walking home with her mother back home.
“You have a lot of vegetables and meat there,” Amara said, “You didn’t steal them right?” she added teasingly, she knew better than anyone that her daughter would never do such a thing. But that still wouldn’t sate her curiosity as to where her daughter got all these food. She may already have an idea as to why her child was carrying this many.
“I didn’t!” came the loud reply of her daughter, stomping her foot and pouting. “I would never steal!”
“Sorry, sorry, mama said something bad. Can you forgive her? It is mama’s birthday today after all.” She replied, hands clapped together, shamelessly using her birthday as a way to escape.
“Muh, mama is unfair!” came the reply, pouting all the while.
Amara peeked through her hands and asked. “So, how did you get these many food?” which was then replied with “Promise you won’t get mad?” from her daughter.
“I promise, may God smite me!” Amara swore.
Hearing this, Maya gave in “I-I work at the stores after selling all my flowers.” She said fidgeting. “T-they hired me to clean their shops a-and stalls.”
With wide eyes she stared at her daughter, who was able to find another means of earning money at such a young age. Deep inside she felt ashamed for not thinking of other ways to earn money fast, but she has already resolved herself to continue. For a brighter future for her daughter, she is saving money to someday send her daughter to school. And maybe start a floral shop that would help her live a more prosperous and peaceful life with her daughter.
“M-mama, you’re crying.” Came the concerned voice of Maya. “A-are you okay?”
“H-huh?” she wiped her eye, not knowing that she was already tearing up. “Yeah, mama’s okay. Mama is just happy, these are tears of joy.” She replied with a smile, cheeks reddening.
Maya just replied with an “Uwah!” and gave her mother a hug, making them stop on the road.
“Mama, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!” she shouted as her face was buried in her mother’s stomach.
This night’s dinner was different. They now have more food on the table than usual, with potato stew filled with meat, Maya’s favorite. And many dishes from what Maya brought with her.
“Thank you for the food! And thank you for the year you have given my mother!” came the short prayer from Maya.
“Thank you Maya” Amara couldn’t help but hug her daughter. “I’m the luckiest woman to have a cute and loving daughter like you!”
Maya just giggled and accepted her mother’s love, she after all likes hugs and her mother was a pro at it.
They enjoyed their small feast, and after eating.
“Mama.” Maya called out.
“Yes dear?”
“Here!”
Maya was holding out a cute hair pin, made of bronze. The details of said pin told Amara that this couldn’t have come cheap. She looked at her daughter curiously, tilting her head. Seeing this Maya thought to herself that her mother was very beautiful, and she couldn’t compare to her, she thought. She understood what her mother was curious of.
“Mr. Karon said that he will make a gift for mama instead of paying me money, so he asked me what I wanted.” She answered with confidence.
Amara once again hugged her daughter and asked “Can you put it on mama?” which her daughter happily accepted.
The bronze pin reflected the light from the candles. Maya’s eyes shined ever brighter after seeing her mother with it.
“Does it look good?”
“Yes! Mama it looks very, veeeeerrry pretty!” came the giggling reply.
The mother and daughter hug once again with Amara saying thank you.

Later, where the mother and child household has long gone to rest. Four shadows quietly prowl the land, steps muffled, and conversations held using hand gestures. These were men skilled to move in the dark.
Professionals who have investigated their prey for the past three days, they knew that only two people lived in this house, they knew that no help would come even at the chance that their prey choose to shout and begged.
They were paid to do only one thing. Capture the two alive, any injuries would reduce what they will earn. That thought was not acceptable to them.
Two broke off going behind, and the other two would come in through the front to remove any blind spots. For a single story building that was already collapsing on itself, this infiltration would just be child’s play for these trained professionals.
The door was barred from the inside, the man at the front told his partner. Both of them chose to search for another way inside, this house was already rotting, its windows made from wood. They tried all the windows at the front and to their luck, there was a loose plank.
Ever so silent, the two entered the building and split up to search for their targets. Each having a special bottle containing ‘sleeping water’ a creation of the alchemist in their guild. A few moment later the other two who came from behind have rendezvoused with the others.
Going as pairs now, they searched each rooms, only to find both of their targets sleeping in one room. Peacefully slumbering in a small thin bed. The daughter lying down in her mother’s arms.
With practiced movements, two placed clothes slathered with sleeping water on the pair’s mouths and noses. Being wakened from shock, Amara woke with a deep breath in, which turned to be her down fall. After the pair have inhaled enough to return to their slumber. The four took their prey outside the house.
One of them pulled out a whistle and blew at it. The sound made mimicked a nocturnal bird of prey, signaling the success of their operation. After a while, a wagon pulled by a mule came. And thus ended another successful job.

“Hey, darling, don’t you think Maya is running a little late.” An old apothecary asked her husband who was opening their shop along with their son.
“You worry too much.” The old smith replied with a hearty smile. “It was Amara’s birthday yesterday. Maybe they chose to have a day off today.” He continued trying to reassure his worrying wife.
“Still…” the old woman was still uneasy.
“How about this, let’s send our son out there to give them stomach medicine. Maya had a lot more food yesterday, they may just be suffering from eating too much.” He answered with a little chuckle.
The old woman being sharp as to what her husband wanted to happen by sending their son. She finally gave in and went inside her shop, carrying a small basket with medicine in and a bottle of orange juice.
“Here, and don’t come back until you bring either Amara or Maya.” The woman demanded as she reach out the basket to her child.
“It’s like you’re telling me not to come home anymore, mother” the grown man gave a sigh.
Later that day, the old couple would receive a worrying news from their son. The mother and daughter pair was missing. This incident would stir the shops who have made a bond with Maya and who have known Amara.

On the same day, the main road to the neighboring kingdom.
A young girl was tied up in a pitch dark room, all sources of light has been covered. The movement and rattle of the room woke the child up.
“Huh? Mama?” came the drowsy call of the small child.
Unbeknownst to her, she was placed in a room inside a carriage, heading ever farther away from the place she have known as home. For the traveling merchants has concluded their business.
The movement of the room suddenly came to a stop. Sound of people talking and shouting outside could be heard.
“Mama! Mama! Mr. Karon! Hic*… sob* He-help me.” Maya started begging out, crying for help.
“I-I’m s-scared, hic* it’s Dark!”
On the outside, the people were preparing for lunch, working away at their own work. All were working with excitement in there strides, the boss had a new “doll” and when the boss grows tired, he throws his dolls away. Letting his men play with them.
Others were thinking of the young master’s new “toy” they were those who believed that true paradise can only be experienced the younger their partner was. Though they would only wait until the young master breaks his toy. They would still accept it with a grin on their faces.
With those thoughts in their mind, the work grew lighter for them.
“Mama! Where are yo-“ Before Maya could finish her sentence a loud bang could be heard from one corner of her dark room.
“IF YOU DON’T DO IT, WE ALWAYS HAVE YOUR DAUGHTER!” Came a shout from where she heard the slam earlier.
“P-please d-don’t, I-I beg you.. kheee.”
“Mama! Mama! Where are you?!” Maya was filled with alertness when she heard her mother’s voice for the first time after waking up in a whole new place.
“M-my daughter is.. hmm in there?! N-no! not here! Sh-she will hear everything Guhh…”
A slapping sound could be heard followed by a thud hitting the floor.
“Why do you think I brought you here?! Gahahaha.”
“N-no, Ahhh!”
“Hey! This is dry! Get it wet or else it’s your daughter who I will use.” Another slapping sound came.
“N-Nooo, A-alright…”
“Oooohhh, that’s better. If you could do it you should have done so in the beginning!”
Maya was calling out to her mother all the while, soon she would hear wet sounds pounding in a fast rhythm.
“Oi, Bitch, moan! Isn’t this what you like you filthy whore!”
Maya would continue to hear the wet slapping sound along with insults from a man she never knew. After what felt like an eternity. The man suddenly started grunting and panting.
“Haaaa, that was a good fuck. If only you moaned, it would have been better. You’re a failure as a prostitute.”
A slamming sound could be heard after that, now the two were left in the room.
“Mama! Mama!” Maya called out when she regained her senses.
But before her mother could reply, the door once again opened.
“whistle*, wo ya lok a dat! Boss’ lil doll is a beaut ain’t she. Gahahaha”
“”Gahahah””
“How Culd d boss los interest fr’m such a hi class wom’n”
“Who cares, da boss is willen to share early. Ain’t dat enof?”
After that conversation, Maya has forgotten what has happened after that. The loud cries of her mother, the wet slapping sounds that won’t stop even when the carriage started moving once again.

Night has come, the men has camped outside and were cooking their meals. At the corner of their camp were a pile of men, passing a woman from one another. No longer treating her like a human but a toy to be played with.
Her eyes no longer focusing on anything, her body stopped moving on her own and was now but a toy by the men. She would be raped day in and day out for the three days that this would last. Because…
It was still the first night, Maya has stopped crying and was coughing because of her dry throat, and grumbling stomach growing louder as she has not yet eaten anything the whole day.
“Hey, hey.” Came a voice calling out from where she heard her mother earlier. But this wasn’t the voice of the men, the voice was high pitched from a young boy.
“Are you hungry?” it asked.
“Y-y… Y-yes…” Maya struggled to reply with her dry throat.
“Oh, you can’t speak? You must be thirsty too, huh?” came the innocent reply from the boy.
“Y-ye…ss”
“Here, drink up.”
She could hear water dropping on the floor, a puddle leaking through the small gap on the door. Maya quickly ducked down and licked the liquid only to cough and spit it out right after.
“What the hell are you doing?! You stupid swine?! I chose to give you something and this is how you repay me?!”
The liquid that Maya tasted was salty and smelled bad. No matter how you looked at it, it was no water, Maya thought.
“Hey?! Swine, you still alive?!”
Maya stayed quiet, she was scared. She wanted to be in her mother’s arms. She wanted her hugs. She wanted to go home, and prepare for tomorrow. Meet the kind old couple, the auntie at the vegetable shop and the uncle from the vegetable stall that gives her a little extra in secret.
Yet she was in a place of complete darkness, where she can’t even see her own hands.
As she was lost in wishful thinking a small hole opened up and something was thrown in.
“Squeek* Squeek*”
A rat! A giant rat she thought, crawling backwards trying to distance herself from it until she hit the wall.
“You’re hungry right?! That little guy is starving too! It’s a game to see who gets to eat! Hahaha, make this fun.”
Screams and shrieks could be heard from inside the room, objects falling, hitting the walls, squeeks and more pained screams. It was an ugly battle inside and just outside the door, a young boy was enjoying every minute of it while he eats his dinner in front of it.
The battle ended with a last sequel from the giant rat and nothing could be heard from the room.
“Are you dead?” He asked as he placed his ears on the door, faintly he could hear her panting.
“Whoa! Amazing, you’re still alive! Let’s play again tomorrow.” Came his excited invitation as he leaves the room.
+/+/+/+/+/+
The next day, the same thing happened at lunch time. Amara would be raped just outside the room where Maya was at.
Maya was crumbled down on the floor, body filled with scratches from the fight with the rat. She grew tired of crying, because even crying would give her more pain as her body moves her wounds would hurt.
When night comes once again. The men outside were doing their deed. As for inside the room.
“Evening!” came the cheerful greeting from outside. It was the boy again.
“I came to play again!”
Maya was at the corner of the room, cradling her body, weeping and was calling for her mother. Praying for this to stop.
“Oi! Oi! I can hear you, you know?! Respond properly if you’re still alive, swine!”
But the young girl couldn’t answer anymore as her fear was paralyzing her jaws.
She was scared, she was stressed, she was cornered and lastly she was losing the will to live.
On the floor, the young girl remembered her mother’s stories about a father she can no longer remember, of his great love for them, of him having work on a faraway land and of him being strong, stronger than any man in town.
In desperation, she prayed to her unknown father, that may he rescue them. That he may take them away and make things better.
“Oi! Answer me you swine! Who do you think you are ignoring me, huh?! Just because you’re a little easy on the eyes, you’re letting it go to your head!” the boy shouted, slamming the door.
No response…
“If that’s how you want it, I guess I just have to force you to scream again!” he said as a small hole was opened again.
A hiss could be heard, then silence.
“It’s a gargo viper, they live in the forest! Their favorite food are monkeys and sloths! Work hard not to be it’s dinner!”
Another battle ensued in the room, the boy eating and drinking his meal while enjoying the young girl’s screams.
The end result were the same. When the scuffle died down the boy place his ears on the door. Weak panting could be heard.
“Woah, you’re amazing! To kill a gargo viper! Don’t worry, their poison won’t kill you immediately. They’re slow acting after all. Ohh, we will take care of you until then. We have men here who prefer lifeless bodies or those on the verge of death.” Came his reassurance. “But, I won’t let them get you until I’m finished with you, okay! So don’t die yet! Tomorrow I’ll be doing it with you! Aren’t you excited, we will be connected tomorrow. A swine like you and a human like me. Then after that you have to work hard for everyone else here in the caravan. Good night!” the boy leaves the room.
The girl was on the verge of death, feeling no pain, her mind numbed her whole body to try and protect itself.
Here her body started to change, her vibrant brown hair slowly loses its color and turned silver, her wounds slowly closes and a feverish pain passes through the girl. As she faints from the feverish heat and pain, her night ends.

“Where do you think you’re going.” Came a beautiful voice, as soothing as wind chimes blown by the summer wind.
“Just going out to get some air.” The reply of her husband.
Both at the center of a field of flowers that could never be found in the mortal realms.
“Lies! You’re going to them won’t you!” she voiced in pain. “You said you felt guilty after you betrayed me once, yet you wish to hurt me again?!”
“Please, let me save them! I beg you. This is something a young girl should never experience!” the man argued.
“Is that not hypocrisy?! Why didn’t you save every young mortal who faced the same tragedies, too!” she said.
“Y-you know who they are! How could you tell me to continue to watch them from afar! Haven’t Amara suffered enough?! Please, Maya is innocent of this, at least let me save the child.” The man pleaded.
“No, and that is final!” she firmly denied his pleas. The man looked dejected. “This to is but divine judgement.” She said in mumble as she looks away.
The man hearing this ever so slightly could not let this slide.
“W-what did you say?” the man asked, unable to hide his anger.
“Hmm? I didn’t say anything.” She played dumb.
“You, have promised that you will not harm the two of them have you not?!”
“And I have kept that promise. Now quiet down.”
He understood immediately what that mean, “she” never harmed them.
The man stood up and vanishes from the garden.
“Come back here!!”

The third day, as a merchant caravan traverse the beaten path to the next kingdom. The sun nearing its peak by now. A man stands at the middle of the road, evidently blocking their way.
“Oi! Move out of the way!” came the shout from the man driving the carriage.
Yet the man stood motionless.
“Have you gone mad?! I said move!” the carriage grew ever closer. They may not have been going fast, but this would still have been an annoying inconvenience.
“I’ll go.” Came the voice of his guard, sword at his waist.
He also signaled the other guards to stay alert as this may have been a distraction for an ambush. He got off the carriage, looking left and right, checking for any other bandits that may be hiding.
“Oi, didn’t you hear him? He said move!” the guard said as he let out a front kick.
“huh?” came the dumbfounded sound of the guard.
After a moment he felt intense pain from his leg that has grown shorter. His foot to his knee was missing.
“Graaaaah!” came the pained shriek.
The guards looking from afar stirred, the shock from seeing one of them be reduced to such a state, not knowing what happened filled them with fear.
The man slowly starts to move forward, the wailing guard at his feet. He took one step after another, until he nonchalantly took one step on the guard’s throat, ever so slowly bringing it down. Suffocating him, and then a wet crunching sound could be heard as his spine was crushed.
“We’re under attack!” Came the shout of one of the guards, letting the whole caravan know.
The guards soon went on the offensive, first firing off arrows and magic at him from afar.
Dust and smoke rises, hiding the man.
“Is he de-“ a guard started to ask, only for his head to explode after a rock flew towards it. Grey matter and flesh sticks to those near him.
““Gaaaah!””
The guards panicked. Then another voice was silenced and then another. The primary target of the slaughter were mages. There were twenty guards at the beginning, only to be dwindled down to seven in a blink of an eye.
Not all were killed, for most were shot through the knees, only preventing them from running. Unbeknownst to them for as to why.
On closer inspections, those who have died instantaneously were men who have not touched the female doll nor the toy.
For judgement shall be placed on those still crawling on the ground later.
But the man did not know that those who he killed instantaneously were the ones waiting for their young master to grow tired of his toy.
Regardless, his slaughter continued, he saved the carriage at the middle for last.
The carriage that holds the leader of the whole caravan was shaking, naked and on top of his bed was a naked woman who appears to have her mind broken.
The man gritted his teeth at this sight. A young boy was lying down on another bed in the room close to a door that leads to a small compartment.
“I am sorry Amara.” He said under his breath.
“S-spare us! Y-you want m-money?! T-take everything, but please spare us!” the fat merchant pleaded.
“Th… wi…” the man muttered at an inaudible voice.
“W-what? I-I am sorry. I-I didn’t g-get that.” The merchant said as he continue to shiver. The boy just hiding in the corner trying to make himself look smaller.
“That is my wife.” The man pointed at the body beside the merchant.
Upon hearing this, the merchant’s face grew pale. He knew this would be his end.
&/&/&/&/&/&
After the man broke the father and son’s knees and threw them out of the carriage, he grew near Amara.
“A-amara, I-I am sorry. I-I am so… sorry…” he said as tears flow from his eyes. Weeping at the sad state his beloved was in. He held her hand as he closed his eyes in pain.
Just a little, he felt the hand he held twitched.
“A-amara!”
“Z-z… Ze.. hee*… Zer…t” she said, her eyes faintly showing life.
“I’m here, I’m here.” He replied as his tears flow endlessly from his eyes.
She gave him a smile, one from the depths of her heart. Her haggard appearance did nothing to ruin her beautiful grin.
“I-i… kn..knew… yo..you…. Hee* w-would come.” She forced out.
The pain the man felt could not be expressed, his guilt of letting her experience such cruelty. He have known of her work, but that was to raise her, no, their child in the only way she knew how.
“I-I… am… glad… cough* cough* … she’s… a… bundle of joy.” She continued despite the pain in her whole body. She has suffered from internal lacerations, Hunger, broken bones and battered body from what she has been through these past two days and a half.
“T-take… c-care of her.” A beautiful smile on her face and with that she has breathed her last. After knowing that her daughter was finally rescued and by the man she has ever loved no less, she quickly succumbed to her wounds. She was holding on to her life, to prevent the men from pointing their lust to her daughter, if only to delay them for a moment more. She have taken great pride in throwing everything she had for her only reason of living.
And thus, the body of the beautiful woman was nothing more than a corpse.
“Graaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!” came the pained shout of the man. Shaking the whole continent. His anger and grief knew no bounds. The carriage he was on couldn’t handle his rage and broke down.
From the ruined carriage, he saw for the first time after three years, the child born from his love with Amara.
Something was different, she was floating in the air, eyes closed. Her hair was a vibrant silver color that shined ever so bright. Like the color of his own.
“I-It couldn’t be….” The man muttered, his rage slowly turns to fear.
“T-that’s impossible! H-how did you become a Goddess of destruction?!”
The now naked eight years old girl landed. Her eyes opened and the first thing she ever saw was the lifeless body of her mother. She no longer sense any life from her.
Her eyes went blank, as emotions rage inside her.
She snapped…
And thus began the destruction of this world and everything within it.

I opened my eyes, only to see a huge hole on my roof.
What the hell happened to my roof?!
I tried to get up only for someone’s weight to anchor me down.
W-wait, why?! Didn’t I make a new room for you yesterday?
Haaa, I gave up on trying to get up anymore as I just caressed the head of my cellmate, Maya.
“So it has begun, huh?”
The soul sync. Our memories shall be forced on the other. It seems she has no memory of how or who destroyed her world… unfortunately this will not be an exception for the other party of soul sync.
I will see her everything, even those that she has forgotten.
And the same goes for her.
I am sorry. For making you see what I have been through.
I unconsciously hugged her, she felt soft and I thought I might break her if I put a little more strength to my hug.
Please don’t hate me… I quietly prayed to no god in particular.
