It has been three weeks after the revival incident.
On the ground next to where he died, I was just sitting there in a daze. Three thousand years of existence, for three thousand years I obeyed and followed the teachings of my Goddess. I broke her taboo for the first time and this is what it led to.
The body was incinerated and a scorch mark where his body was turned to ash sits beside me.
The two Kunehoes were running around, both from the front yard to the back. Full of life as always. What was different from them and the body I revived?
Was it, my memories after all?
Does every body I leave behind carry such burdens? If I didn’t do this experiment I may never have known about this. Or maybe, it was because I gave it life.
Before he died, he was so afraid of people that can no longer harm me. They were already dead, aside from my new cellmate, of course. That also came as odd to me, why did he fear them?
I only feared two things throughout my life after gaining immortality and that was breaking my promise and losing the ones I love.
The life I live now is the final blessing I received from her. Those who threatens my life are not seen with fear, rather as enemies who needs to be eliminated. This was true even for that princess who enjoyed torture, the Gods who went after me and their beasts. Though I can’t feel the same for my cellmate for some reason. I can’t bring myself to hate her… and I don’t know why.
She felt innocent to me, like a child who was only throwing a tantrum, not knowing what her actions would lead to. Looking confused when I broke her norm of vanishing after you get punched, the water spray prank that left her wet and very angry.
As I thought of random things, another week has passed.
This is bad, being an immortal plus this place never having any evenings can mess with your sense of time. My clock still worked, unfortunately it can’t tell me how many days have passed, I think I need to do something about that later.
Why am I not bother about ‘him’ dying? I’m an immortal, with it comes out living a lot of people even the ones you love, no… especially the ones you love. Hate to say it, but he was just a stranger who shared my memories and appearance, I’m pretty confident in myself, so things like existential crisis isn’t worth the bother.
The Kunehos stumble upon my legs and scurried off. Their energy was enviable.
By now the Kunehoes have dug a burrow to live in and rest when they grew tired. They would play all day, eat the grass and then rest.
Such a care free way of life, Diana’s abdomen was getting bigger. Alphones you sly Kuneho, you must have been working hard!
Haaa, nothing beats losing a life like welcoming a new one. I have felt something similar when I lost one of my friend to the war of the Gods, but when we came home from the battlefield the wife of our other friend was in labor. It reminded us that life goes on, we mourned his lost of course, but as a family, we helped in raising the child.
Of course during this time I went by an alias. I can’t drag innocent people to my problems.
To celebrate Diana’s pregnancy, I decided to get my ass up and make a gift. This gift of course being a new vegetable for them to enjoy, or maybe a fruit would be better. I didn’t want them to eat grass forever.
For the special occasion, I decided to use sorcery, to create strawberries from nothing. Mana consumption is a small price to pay for this, bwahahaha. And to make things more thrifty, I’ll take the seeds and plant them, for more strawberries!!
“I’m a genius, Bwahahaha.”
Alphonse and wife just cutely tilted their head to the side.
Another development by the way, was Alphonse and Diana were growing fur! It was like they were evolving and changing their physiological state to match the animal I envisioned for them to be. No more of the weird human skin on Kunehoes, and yes to fluffy white!! Their eyes were also turning red for some reason.
I looked around and the grass was already knee high, the species of grass I was imagining when I invoked the spell were supposed to reach the waist, meaning they still have a lot of growing to do, but I don’t want my home to be overrun by grass.
Although Alphonse and wife were doing their best at eating it. Two Kunehoes would only be able to do so much. And thus I cut down the grass inside the wall too about four centimeters high. With sorcery of course.
The waste just got incinerated.
Now then,
“Oh earth that slumbers ever deep, heed my call to earn thy keep.
May fruit from thy bosom grow, to give life to those in woe.
Search my memories of a fruit so sweet, red in color and delicious to eat.
Obey my words and take my energy as nourishment, or face peril and eternal torment!”
After reciting another self made incantation, the earth in front of me started to glow. As mana drains from my body, a small sprout appears and slowly grows. From stem to leaves and flowers, slowly becomes the fruits of my desire.
I picked one first and plopped it in my mouth, when it got crushed between my teeth, sweet juice spreads out. I unconsciously slipped an “immm” sound.
Diana was the first of the two to investigate the new plant, she gave it a sniff and then a nibble. When she first tasted the sweet juice, her eyes widened and then continued to eat the fruit with vigor. Upon seeing the way his wife was eating, Alphonse choose to try it out as well, it was cute how he had the same reaction as Diana.
I collected five strawberries for seeds and food. The original strawberry bush was devoured by the two, only leaving the roots behind. They then moved their noses, searching for more of the sweet, sweet fruit.
“Saplings won’t last long with them around, huh?” I thought to myself. “Ooooh! I should start a farm! Strawberries won’t be the only produce, I should make more varieties!”
With a new project in mind, I was starting to get excited. The minor setback of the failed revival was the least of my worries now!
And, after a week or two, Diana would be giving birth!! Haha! I’ll make preparations for the farm right away, Alphonse and Diana would be left in the walls to prevent them from eating any saplings and vegetation before harvest time!
The option of me using sorcery to get instant fruits and vegetables is appalling to me, I am stuck here forever. No need to rush things. I can take my time, waiting for your fruits and vegetables to grow is part of the experience!
And so I went outside the earth wall for the first time in a while, removed the grass. Allotted spaces for my new field, they weren’t that big, since I will only be farming for myself.
I used sorcery again, but not to have instant plants. I chose to go for seeds instead and planted them in my new field.

Diana is in labor!
So a week after I started my farm, Diana was having signs of being ready to give birth. She and her husband were above ground instead of their burrow.
Their lack of fear must be because they still didn’t have any predators.
That could be arranged later, right now, the important thing is Diana’s children!
“Go Diana! You can do it!” me and the father to be was cheering Diana on.
Alphonse was bopping his nose on his wife from time to time. Then her vagina started swelling, her hole expanding and after a deep breathe from Diana, a hairless rabbit was brought to the world!!!
It didn’t stop with the one, soon three more came out! Four furless jellybeans were on the ground. Diana then started eating away at the placenta sticking at the new born babies.
Instincts may have been the reason for her actions, back in my world wild animals would eat the placentas and clean the baby to prevent predators from smelling them. But she choose to give birth above ground to begin with… I don’t know what to think about them now. I guess they are not regular Kunehoes, huh.
Also, for some reason Alphonse was looking at me, it was like he was puffing his fluffy chest out to me. Bro what did you even do?
To celebrate the healthy child birth, I gave the hardworking mother strawberries and carrots. Unfortunately the ones on my farm will still take a while before harvest, so I prepared this with sorcery.
The couple was happy! Diana was still weak, so Alphonse started gorging down the food. At times I wonder if they were Kunehoes or Baboys (pig) because of their strong appetites.
‘Diana’s share could wait for later then’ I thought to myself.

This were peaceful days, may this continue for a long time.

How naïve was I to think things would continue on peacefully.
As my very, very violent cellmate, was standing in front of me in a punching position and my head missing from my body. Again.
Let’s start from the beginning, after Diana gave birth, I started sleeping again and I was out for about three days at first, then it became a normal 7-8 hours of sleep every “night”.
Every morning I would tend to my garden, I made a door for the earth wall to make coming and going far easier.
Diana rarely leave her kids alone, now named Clyde, Alphonse Jr., Judy and Sofie. She has the softest fur among the four. Though I held out naming them until their eyes opened and fur grow.
My daily routine was, light exercise, farm visit, feeding Diana fruits and veggies since she was feeding four runts. The free time was spent first creating a new clock outside my home with a bigger face, this one would be stationary unlike the first one. It was a small tower at two meters high made on the day Diana gave birth, the added feature was simple.
Once the clock coin flip to the sun side, a small green ball would drop signifying a new day, it would be stacked vertically until it reaches seven. Then it would be empty again, the clock would only be using this 7 green balls. So the only time the tube made from glass would be empty is when it is the 7th day. Because when the last ball drops, a hole bellow will open up and take the balls behind to prepare in repeating the cycle.
And when another green ball drops the next day, a yellow ball would drop in the vessel beside it. This would count the weeks.
In short, I have four glass tubes that would contain small balls. Green for the days (7), yellow for the weeks (4), red for the month (12) and lastly gold for the year (100) being the longest tube.
I had enough gold balls to last a century, since my sentence was to stay here for eternity. Well, I have companions now, so it doesn’t look so bad.
I talk to Diana and family everyday, of course I hear no response, but in their eyes they seem to kind of understand me. Alphonse is mischievous, he likes jumping on his wife and me from a hidden place. Diana is calm, she likes food though. She plays around with her husband, chasing each other, she would usually stay put and nibble on something. The young ones were energetic and started running around the moment they could.
Three weeks and two days after Diana’s birth.
As I was playing with the kids, the door on the earth wall blew wide open and was heading towards us, I destroyed it before it could harm the little ones. And the one who broke the door was…
“**** ***** *****!!”
The young lady in all her nakedness was standing at the hole where the door used to be, chest puffed up.
‘Why the hell are you looking so smug?!’ I nearly shouted, but I stopped. I wasn’t alone anymore, I can’t agitate her and lead her to harm the Kuneho family.
“What are you doing here?” I asked in a calm tone, hoping that my intention of not wanting to fight would reach her.
She tilted her head, making her silver locks sway. “* **** ****** ****** ***** *****!” she shouted as she scratches her head.
‘do you really need to shout all the time?’
Little context at where we are, we were staring each other at the front yard that was to the south, my first watering hole was at the north, so I placed my farm at the west side, of course the door was located westward. To the east is where my lab is, and further would be the great lake. And the east was behind me.
Why was this important? Like you even need to ask.
The second thing she noticed were the cute Kunehoes hiding behind me, Alphonse Sr. Was staying at my side. What a man! Oooh! I think Diana is falling for you all over again and your kids have sparkles in their eyes.
Honestly these Kunehoes, were acting more and more human like rather than well Kunehoes.
The kids weren’t the only ones with sparkles in their eyes. Yup, the violent lady also had them.
She walked ever closer and reached out to grab Alphonse, then I grabbed her outreached hand. She jumped a little at the shock, she glared at me. I only shook my head, hoping this also meant no from where she came from.
“*** **!” she shouted, but I couldn’t understand anything.
She then fling my and off, and then, a punch flew at my face.
Welp, here we are. Oh? Your wondering why I mentioned where I was and what was behind me? Haa, well…
‘I have a bad feeling about this…' I thought as I look at her face. My head was ethereal right now, but I can still see her.
I saw how her expression changed, from the annoyed glare to slowly contort to one with confusion and fear. Yup, you heard that right, fear.
Her eyes were looking far away, behind me. So I turned around to see… that everything behind me was obliterated. Oh, the Kunehoes are fine, there was a good three meters radius behind me that was safe.
Well, this is a problem. I quickly reached out my hand towards the sky, and just like that I was able to make a barrier one kilometer in radius to prevent the air from escaping towards the white emptiness of the prison cell.
The damage report? She blew up everything in the west in a V shape, where my body or rather head was the vertex. My lab and the great lake along with it, and I was so looking forward in making fishes that would live there.
As I was thinking about how this just gives me more work and a delay on my fish project, my cellmate was still here. She was standing in a daze, fear in her eyes and were starting to moisten like she wants to cry.
Haaa, I can’t stand seeing a girl cry, I know, I know, this sound cliché. But that’s how I was raised okay? If you have a problem take it to them!
I reached my hands out again and mana pooled once more, and like the first time I conjured the earth, land slowly fills the gap and carpets the white surface again. After that I regenerated my head. I’ll handle the barrier and adjusting the atmosphere later.
Now… my cellmate was looking at me in shock and a hint of relief. When she relaxed, she lost strength in her legs and dropped on the grass.
‘What the hell is going on?’ I thought. What she was showing now was a far cry from before. What got her so scared? Because that would probably be even scarier than her, and I don’t want to deal with that.
“Diana, I think it’s safe now. Take your kids home first, okay? Alphonse, I’m sorry but could you stay with me?”
I gave my orders to the Kuneho family, I wanted to keep them safe. But I was also risking Alphonse here, she was attracted towards Kunehoes and I thought having one with me might help calm her down.
Diana with her kids ran off towards their burrow, looking one last time behind before entering the hole. I myself walked closer to my cellmate, Alphonse following behind.
I crouched down and reached my hand, but she just backed away and cradled herself, tears falling. I was at a lost. I felt that she was childlike and this just strengthens it.
But what made her show this reactions now? It couldn’t have been my head exploding, she did that the first time we met! As I was unsure what to do, I gave Alphonse a little push.
He looked at me with a “What the hell are you pushing me for?!”
And I gave him a “Use your cuteness” look.
This advance form of communication was achieved through hard work and trust! Although he looks like he wants nothing to do with this, so I used my trump card. I showed him a strawberry and my hand saying I’ll give him five. He shook his head and patted the floor three times.
Ooooh so your bargaining now? Where the hell did you learn that?! It must have been from Diana, she may have looked calm and timid, but deep down I knew she was hiding a wicked side. I mean Alphonse wasn’t smart enough to think this far ahead and would have gladly accept the bribe! Now he wants three times the initial price!
This is bad, having smart kids are scary.
Defeated, I gave a nod, and Alphonse looked like he grinned. The enthusiasm died immediately when he looked at the dejected girl. So he slowly hops towards her.
He looked back, but I just cheered him on to continue.
He bopped his nose on her foot, he looked ready to run away at any moment.
She lifted her head and saw Alphonse next to her foot, her face relaxed a little. She tried to reach out, but Alphonse backed away. Dejected she retracted her arms and was pouting a bit.
Pheew, at least now we got her to calm down a little.
‘I should get her something to eat’ I thought.
I went to my farm and brought with me a few vegetables, a simple potato stew would do, I can always use sorcery for the salt and other seasonings that was missing.
I made a kitchen beside the bathroom, it was complete with stove and all cooking and baking needs, it was located at the west side. It had two doors, one leading inside the house, the other outside, closer to the farm gate. (That is currently a huge hole… haaa….)
Eh? Your asking me if I can cook? Bro, have you forgotten that I’m a genius alchemist whose latest achievement was to create Kunehoes! I’ll have you know that I was taught how to cook when I was young.
Cooking and alchemy wasn’t that different, use materials to create something new or different. In cooking you make it so it would be edible while not forgetting the nourishments, at least that was how I was taught.
It honestly had no difference, there were recipes that you had to prepare the ingredients differently first before putting them together. In alchemy, we had a lot of ingredients with different preparation conditions and it was very dangerous. Timing, experience, tools, temperature and carelessness could be the difference in making a poison instead of a medicine.
A vegetarian potato stew! And it is not vegetarian by choice just so you know. The options for meat was my body’s meat and Kuneho meat.
No Kuneho meat! You heartless bastards!
I know, I know, I made the Kunehoes for meat in mind back then, But! They’re family now! YOU DO NOT EAT FAMILY YOU HEAR ME?!
Eh? Why don’t I just make other meat with sorcery? Oh, why did I not think of that, except I did! I can’t make something I don’t have a solid grasp on, that’s why the Kunehoes started with my own flesh and blood and no, the organs weren’t Kuneho organs to begin with. They were miniature versions of my own.
For some reason they transformed into the real deal before I knew it. That process took three weeks at minimum.
And no! I don’t want to feed her my meat, DAMN IT MY MIND WENT SOMEWHERE! No, not that meat! You get what I mean!
I may have met a few cannibalistic tribes before, I was not a fan of their cuisine. Not to diss on them, they had their own beliefs, so no judging coming from you!
Back to the stew! First, wash the vegetables, I have potatoes, carrots, bell peppers, and tomatoes. I like my potatoes peeled then chop them up to bite size cubes and placed them in cold water to prevent them from going brown, then I chopped up onions, garlic, carrots and sliced my bell peppers and crushed the tomatoes.
As I was cooking the stew, I have a feeling I was being watched. When I look at my cellmate through the kitchen’s window she was just looking at Alphonse, trying to get him to go near her with grass in hand. Must have been my imagination.
For the drinks, I prepared cucumber water. A pitcher made from glass by yours truly. There it was again, someone was looking at me. This time I used a metal spoon as a mirror.
I saw her looking at me, her hands still waving the grass at Alphonse. Her nose was twitching, was she curious about the food?
After making the table and setting the food on top of it.
I turned around and she quickly averted her gaze, later I hear her stomach growl ever so slightly but enough to hear. She grabbed her belly and blushed red like a tomato.
Was this really the same person who smashed, bashed, crushed and disintegrated my body hundreds of times?
Haaa, I went to stand in front of her.
“Do you want something to eat?” I asked in a tone I usually use for kids.
I did hand motions simulating eating food, then rub my stomach. She glared at me like I killed her parents, and I don’t even know why I’m being treated as such.
So far I was a model cellmate! Though eye candy was eye candy, I may or may not have been maintaining eye contact… I couldn’t help it! and to be honest if she wasn’t so violent she would have been my type. (Physical wise)
Argh, get my mound out of the gutters, I mean mind.
I tried smiling with my eyes close, and reached out my hand.
“Let’s go?”
Surprisingly, she grabbed my hand, unsurprisingly she crushed it bones and all, and use it to get up.
“**** ****!” she shouted with arms crossed, and looked away.
Still can’t understand her, so I just tried guessing. She wants to eat… her stomach was honest unlike her.
I gave Alphonse a bow of my head for thanks, and he ran off to their burrow.
I then walked towards the house, she followed behind, she looked disappointed when she saw my living room/recreation area being desolated. Aside from a table with two chairs.
It wasn’t my fault! The Kuneho family loves playing outside and I got busy with my farm. Nothing of interest came up yet that would make me want to decorate the place.
Still she quietly followed behind, I wonder what was going in her mind?
I pulled a chair for her to sit on, but she glared at me for a good few seconds before accepting it and took her seat. ‘what a worry wart’ I thought.
In front of her was the potato stew I made and a glass of cold cucumber water. I sat opposite of her, the same thing on my plate.
An awkward silence filled the air until her tummy broke out in a cry. She blushed and looked down. I was wondering why she didn’t eat the moment she sat down.
Then a thought crossed my mind…
“Let’s dig in.” I said as I scoop hot stew with my spoon and took a bite.
Seeing this, she quickly took her spoon… it broke instantly and a look of confusion was on her face then turned to anger. She glared at me. Wait, wait, wait! Is she misunderstanding something? Like me making her utensils brittle or something?
I quickly offered her my spoon and oddly enough she accepted it. Which broke once again…
My spoons were made of metal, yet they crumble like paper in her hands. My guess was she couldn’t control her strength, the problem is. How to tell her that.
I was panicking inside, I didn’t want her to go on a rampage here after seeing what a single punch from her can do.
I made another spoon, but instead of giving it to her, I scooped up a spoonful of stew and offered it in front of her mouth.
“Aah” I said.
“…..”
Yes, it is what it looks like. For some reason the solution I thought of was to feed her myself.
I’m not stupid! At least I want to think I’m not… I’m not, okay!
She looked at the stew for a while, when her stomach growled again, she gave in and took a bite. Chomping down, she… she took the spoon head as well.
She glared at me while taking the head out with her fingers.
After that she continues to chew, and chew, and chew. When she swallowed, she then grab hold of her bowl and ate with her hands.
I was dumbstruck, not because she was eating with her hands, no.
Tears fell down the cheeks of my violent cellmate. She chews vigorously while from time to time she wipes away tears and snot from her face. Hics and sobs could be heard from her.
Lost for words I gaze at my new uninvited guest. She choked a little and drank her cucumber water. And seemed to like it as she chugs it down. I gave her another mug full, the handle of the mug seems to be nearing it’s death…
“***** ****…” she muttered as she eats. Of course, I can’t understand anything she was saying.
When her bowl was empty, she looked so defeated and at a lose. When I offer to give her seconds her ever expressive face shined, then she looked away. She still slowly pushed her bowl towards me. And I happily obliged.
My image of her slightly change. She wasn’t a bad girl and I was already aware of that, it’s just, now I am at least 100 percent certain of that fact. She is still volatile though.
After eating her eleventh serving she stopped pushing her bowl forward, she was looking, drowsy. Not the type suited for her appearance, she looks like a child trying to fight off the drowsiness after staying up too late.
The problem was her hands and face were dirty from the stew. Even if there are no ants (I think) in this place, it would still be wrong to send such a dirty girl to bed.
Though now that I think about it… where will she sleep?!
I only have one bedroom, I guess that settles it. One night without sleep won’t kill me so.
I went to my drowsy guest’s side, used water sorcery to wash the dirt from her hands and face. After I wiped away at her cheeks an unexpected thing happened. She smiled… one of innocence and purity.
“**** ***” she muttered.
Though she already looks out of it. Her drowsiness must be that strong, as she slowly leans on me.
“zzZzZ…”
“She’s asleep?” I sighed.
The weight of the girl was what you would expect from her appearance, she was fairly light. I pushed her a little and I saw her slumbering face. So peaceful.
I carried her princess style, the soft and relaxed breathing, and the sound of my heart beating were the only things you could hear from this place.
And so, I placed her in my room, went out and close the door.
“Haaa, that was an unexpected visitor for sure.” I said to no one in particular and slumped by the door.
“oh right, I still need to clean up.”
Thus end my lifespan shortening experience and another eventful day.
