Ohhh deer

1 month has passed,

Blue is chasing a deer!

He grew fast, he is now about the size of a normal wolf.

His fur became a bit darker and it's almost as if the fur around its neck was forming a small mane. not like anything that of a lion, it was much more modest.

It looked almost royal as his hair wavers in the wind while running.

The deer looks pretty normal besides the fact that it has spikes around its neck and three horns that have a beautiful gray sheen to them.

Blue's feet left huge dents in the ground as he chased the deer, because of the rain and the huge amount of power every single step had.

The deer runs for its life, it runs from left to right but keeps going in the same general direction.

It was a desperate attempt to shake Blue off.

It didn't matter at all, Blue was far too fast, he closed in on it with an absurd speed.

Every single second Blue gained distance on the deer.

The harsh reality was that the deer didn't stand a chance.

The deer suddenly stopped, it knew it was hopeless to run and turned around in a last desperate attempt to surprise blue and stab him with his horn.

but what it saw shocked the deer, Blue stopped at the same time. as if he knew what the deer was thinking.

The deer and blue locked eyes, Blue slowly walked towards it.

It's as if the deer was frozen by a pair of lights shining in his eyes on a lonely and dark highway.

Normally you would think "what a stupid deer", why don't you keep running!

But you wouldn't understand.

The second it locked eyes it felt not only fear but despair.

Such a heavy pressure that it had trouble moving its muscles, the poor animal could barely even breath.

Blue made a small leap, his paws shooting forwards with incredible speed. the wind gushes as if the wind itself was helping him.

With a terrible and frightening swoop he launched his paw towards its neck.

His huge claws reflected the moonlight.

with speed that could barely have been seen by the human eye.

He killed the deer.

One mighty swoop from his giant paw was all it took to end the helpless deer.

Blue had a proud look on his face, after all, this was his first kill.

It was weird, you wouldn't expect it. He was already such a good hunter.

You would say he had done this hundreds of times before.

He didn't only show the skills but also the courage and confidence.

A true natural, his instincts were superb.

Blue walked over to the lifeless deer.

He started snacking on its corpse.

But something was strange, there wasn't any blood?

Wait, why is there a loud crunching noise?

He was eating.... the horn?

His face looks happy as he is snacking on the horn.

While he's eating, something strange happens.

His teeth slightly grow, and so do his nails.

But what really was a surprise is that the skeletal piece under his jaw started to grow.

It now covered most of its bottom jaw, the color turned a bit whiter then before.

It's as if he absorbs the power slowly as he eats the sturdy horn.

The wolf suddenly looked confused, it was used to being able to see in the dark, but not like this!

The moon was only glimmering slightly and there was but a dim light.

The clouds blocked most of it and it was raining.

The weather could only be described as grim.

And yet even through all these circumstances the young wolf could see clear as day.

As if his eyes have evolved!

The wolf looks around confused a bit more before accepting the change in scenery.

He bows his majestic head, towards the neck of the deer and grabs it softly.

He starts walking with its prey in his mouth towards his home.

The prey was far too big and was being dragged over the ground, but he didn't care.

It did not bother him one bit.

After a while, Blue finally arrives at his trustworthy home.

A fairly small but strong fire, a tiny but sturdy house, and ofcourse Baba and the old man.

As Blue got home Baba looked at him intrigued for a second.

Baba walks over to him and gives him a soft headbut, it was full of compassion and adoration.

The way a mother would congratulate his son for taking his first steps.

She looks proud, but not as proud as Blue himself.

Suddenly the old man screams, Blue!!

So you went on your first hunt! Oohhh I'm so proud of you!

The man is gleaming with a smile that goes from ear to ear.

As Blue became older, he slowly started to understand the words the man spoke.

not the meaning behind the words itself but more of a general understanding of what he tried to convey.

Blue pulls his head up, showing off the deer to the man.

The old man directly responded, Ooo my small blue is finally becoming an adult! you look so majestic! you aren't secretly of royal blood, right?!

Blue raised one of his eyebrows and shook his head slightly, it's as if he was a young man thinking that his grandpa was crazy, but lovable at the same time.

The old man continued talking, wooow your eyes are a lot clearer blue and your bones and nails have become stronger.

I knew it, he screamed with pure excitement. You evolve by hunting and eating!

You can probably see more now, that's because you hunted something at night! the younger you are the faster you adapt!

So try to hunt them monsters in many different settings!

And this is something that's slightly more known but still not completely proven.

The old man looked like a professor while explaining.

Your bones adapt the strongest elements of the materials you have eaten. so if you see a tasty rock, Go for it!

Blue looks at him, and sighs as the old man keeps rambling on and on.

Suddenly the old man stops talking and looks towards where blue came from.

He speaks, Hey blue.

Blue looks up to him and his ears go up.

He could hear that the old man was serious, something that had not happened before.

The old man spoke in a way that had power behind every single sound he made.

It was an intense experience.

His face wasn't angry, in fact it was void of any emotion.

Like a cold emperor speaking down on a peasant.

Blue suddenly realized that the old man might not only be old and silly.

He realized that maybe, just maybe.

He was the Alpha, not Baba.

The Old man spoke, Did you carry the deer over like that?

Blue stared at him, he was intimidated.

It was the first time he had felt fear.

He only lived for a short while after all.

The old man repeated himself, Did you DRAG that beast over here?

Blue looked at him and shook yes, you could clearly tell Blue was nervous.

The old man sighed, It's probably nothing.

You can't always keep worrying, he said to himself. It was hard to read his emotions.

He looks over at the terrified Blue and sighs, I'm sorry.

I over reacted, can you forgive me?

Blue looks at him hesitant but there is a deep trust between them, afterall Blue sees him as a father-like figure.

The old man also doesn't look mad anymore.

Blue walks over to him and the old man pets him softly around his head.

The old man says, Blue, you are so kind as to forgive me so easily.

The old man had a sad look on his face, Blue saw it but didn't know what to do so he just sat there with him and softly laid his head on the old man's legs.

The old man suddenly stood up and said, Blue? Have you seen Baba?

His voice is shaking slightly.

Blue looks around, and shakes his head.

Huh, I could swear she was here a while ago.

That's strange, she normally only leaves my side for hunting.

You already did the hunting though...

Baba is very territorial and knows everything that goes on...

Don't tell me they really did trace you?!?

Suddenly the old man looked pained.

He wasn't calm like before, there was anger in his face. no not anger, it was rage of the purest kind.

Blue could feel his hate in the air.

Crack!

A branch got stepped on!

The air around the old man suddenly gets cold.

His hands start to form fists, as sweat drips from his head.

Both of them turn towards the sound without wasting a single breath!

There Baba stands proudly!

with a puppy in her mouth!
