Blue slowly opened his eyes.

It's pitch black, it's so dark he could see the abyss gaze back.

After realizing he had opened his eyes already, he started to panic.

Poor Blue had no clue where he was or the current situation he was in.

It landed on the curtain and was repelled without much trouble.

The heat jumped in his face, Blue whimpered in pain.

The commander screamed in an angry tone, "Who moved the fire enchanted blanket covering the cage?!"

No one answered, it was incredibly quiet.

Blue could see her now, She had pretty long hair as black as the night, and was around her thirties.

Her eyes were purple, a color that often was considered royal, with an attire that fit the previous statement.

She was covered in light armor that was crafter with finesse. The armor had a pretty golden eagle woven into it. She wore a rapier that had a big purple gem on the end of the handle.

The woman had a demeanor of superiority while facing Blue.

She spoker her mind with clear contempt to him, "You stupid dog, if you ever do that again, I'll make your life a living hell."

She took both the ends of the blanket and closed them again.

He was alone in the dark again.

Tired from the fire he summoned and the fact he had not eaten in a while, he passed out once again.

I'm so hungry I haven't had food since the incident.

"Ahhh I can finally see my wife again! When I departed she was 8 months pregnant so I haven't had any in so long."

The soldier started getting excited, "Ohhhh but now that she's no longer pregnant I'm going to fu-"

He could hear the commander speak to a soldier that was sitting on the carriage.

The cart got closer to the city, he knew because of voices that he had not heard before.

After a while of the cart closing in on the city they finally got to a halt.

"Hey, are you a noble?" a man spoke politely. The commander responded coldly, "Yes, now get out of my way."

The guard said, "Sorry miss, I have orders from above to check all carriages, even those of nobles."

The commander shrugged, "Then why ask if I'm noble in the first place."

The guard had no answer and showed by keeping silent while checking the cart.

He spoke with curiosity, "what's under the blanket?"

The commander laughed with excitement, "That, That's our catch. Do you want to check it out?"

The guard was thrilled! "But of course madam." He replied without thinking.

He walked towards the black curtain and slowly opened it.

He looked horrified and asked with a disgusted face, "How long did you keep this thing locked in here?"

The commander walked slowly to the guard. She put her mouth close to his ear and spoke. The guard was paralyzed.

"You see, that is a royal hound, blessed with fire. He burned two of my men to crisp with only the smallest opening.

I'm showing you this because I had hoped he kept his spirit.

But I guess that not being able to eat for two weeks tamed it a bit.

Ugh that smell is horrible indeed, well you normally wouldn't let a dog sit in his own feces for the entire two weeks either."

Blue didn't even react, he had no energie left. without food or water he was almost only bones. It was torture, he would do anything for food.

The guard looked angry but he didn't do anything as the lady started her dialog once again.
