"You are just going to sleep the whole day away, Luna?" She tried to open her eyes slowly, but it felt heavy. Luna knew the voice right away, so she just kept her eyes closed.
"Just five more minutes."
"Get up. Come on, I made eggs and hash."
She just smiled at the thought of a freshly made breakfast. "I had a dream."
"What about?"
"You were gone… And I was left all alone."
"You were never alone. I’m always with you and Annie." The figure lie down beside her. "Luna… I’m serious. You need to wake up now."
"Can’t we just enjoy this? You know, I hate mornings."
He chuckled at her response. "They are worried about you."
"They will be fine without me. All I have ever done is make everyone’s lives worse. I don’t… I don’t want to go back. I want to stay with you."

"You can't, Luna. It’s…It’s not your time yet."
She felt a tear escape from her eyes as both of them lay there in silence. She wanted to see him. To see his face again. But Luna could not open her eyes.
"I’m sorry." Luna openly cried. "I’m sorry… for everything I have done. I left you alone. I should have been the one. I should have been the one who died."
The figure shushed her gently.
"You have nothing to be sorry for. I gave my life for you because I love you." The figure said as Luna felt more tears roll down her cheeks. "And I would gladly do it all again for you."
"Please don’t leave me alone. I can’t do it alone. I can’t do it without you. I can’t go on."
"You can. I have been watching you and I’m very proud. You are a bit sloppy without me but still doing well so far." Luna felt the figure brush her tears away. "Luna. I want you to be happy. You need to let me go. I’m already gone."
"Please don’t say that. Please. I can’t do that… I can’t. Please. Let me stay with you. I can’t do it."
"You have so much love to give to the world, Luna. Don’t give up on it, on them, because they need you. You still have your life ahead of you. Don’t spend it all in hatred and grief." She kept on crying while the figure wiped her tears for her. "Forgive yourself, Luna."
"I love you. I will never love anyone else."
"I love you too." He said back as the figure now started to slowly vanish. "Live a full life, Luna. Live, and if you need to, love again. Please forgive yourself. And give Annie a big hug for me."
"Marko!"
