Delilah looked around her surroundings, she appeared to be in what looked like a large dirt cave. There were many other rabbits all around her some were smaller and some were considerably larger. Some were sleeker than she was whereas others seemed almost stocky. There was a large brownish mound in the center of what she assumed must be a burrow however it was hard to tell what exact colour the mound was or the other rabbits as everything was awash in a pale blue light emanating from the several tiny mushrooms dotted throughout the burrow. She felt a odd sort of piece sitting within this burrow surrounded by her kin, idly she noted that maybe she should have checked out her surroundings before she became lost within her prompts however she found it hard to reprimand herself as everything just seemed so right. She was comfortable and safe, somehow she knew that it was not safe to go exploring yet as the sun was high so she simply lay down and slept.
Delilah was woken by the sounds of her fellow rabbits moving around, as she watched all of the rabbits began to hop out of the main chamber and up through side tunnels. Curious she followed a couple of the closest rabbits up a side tunnel to see where they were all going. The tunnel which Delilah and the other rabbits hopped up was not long and very soon they were all standing on a grassy plain. It was either very early in the morning or twilight with the sun just peaking over the horizon. As Delilah watched she could see the rest of the rabbits all emerging from their own burrow tunnels and milling around on the surface. Strangely they all seemed to be milling around munching grass and then vomiting it back out in piles next to the burrows. Stranger still Delilah felt as if she should be doing the same as the other rabbits. Now she was no expert on rabbit behavior however she was pretty sure this was very abnormal. Although, she reminded herself, this was a whole new world so maybe this was very normal rabbit behavior. While she was mulling over the meaning behind the rabbits odd actions they all continued to scurry around gathering more and more grass. At the same time Delilah’s desire to help them and be part of the group was growing until she decided that she might as well join in and help out while she figured out what the purpose of this gathering task was.
She spent what must have been nearly an hour, by measure of the ambient light growing, on the task until the rest of the rabbits stopped gathering and regrouped at their respective piles. By this point Delilah’s little rabbit body was quite tired by the arduous task. It turned out that rabbit bodies were not exactly designed to hold food and then regurgitate it. Doing so ended up with Delilah dropping most of what she gathered and then awkwardly bending over the grass pile to try and drop the rest in the right place. All in all this was not her favorite activity and she was still quite perplexed at why exactly she was doing it. But in any case, it seemed as if the task was done as the other rabbits seemed to have stopped gathering grass and were now all in the edge of the tunnels seemingly waiting for something. That was when Delilah saw a colossal head emerge from a very large tunnel seemingly at the center of where the other tunnels all lay. Again, Delilah seemed to somehow miss this huge tunnel and the huger still rabbit that was slowly emerging from it. Delilah stared hard at the massive creature in front of her as it lumbered to one of the piles of grass and began to eat it. Shock and anger filled her being as she realized why she had toiled for the last hour, she and the rest of the rabbits had been gathering the grass just so that some bigger asshole could come along and take what they had worked hard for. And yep just as she had thought the big rabbit had left scraps of the grass pile for the other rabbits to eat from as it went along to the next pile of grass. Delilah was furious she had died and left behind her world of greed and corruption, was somehow sucked through a wormhole to be told that she could become a god and then the second she arrived in her new world she was met by the motherfucking capitalist of the rabbits.
So it turned out that this ritual was reproduced twice each day, all the rabbits would leave the burrow and gather grass only for the big rabbit to lumber up and eat most of what they had gathered. After the large rabbit had eaten its fill then all the other rabbits would eat the leftover scraps and then try and eat enough grass so that they would not starve before any predators found them. The whole process was even more insidious than she had first thought as it turned out that the primary way in which rabbits and she assumed most herbivores gained experience was by eating grass so the fact that the large rabbit was eating several times more than any of the other rabbits meant that it would gain far more experience and therefore levels than any of the other rabbits ensuring that it would maintain its monopoly of violence, because Delilah found out later on the first day that the ‘brood mother’ as her prompt had called her was not a benevolent ruler. Basically after the first day of gathering food for the brood mother Delilah had decided that she would not give this tyrant in rabbits clothing anything that she did not deserve so when she next felt the odd compulsion to gather grass for the brood mother she instead ate that grass which awarded her a prompt. The prompt told her that she had resisted the control of the ‘dungeon master’ whatever that meant and as so she was less restricted by the dungeon as a whole however if the brood mother, who Delilah assumed was this dungeon master, found out that Delilah was no longer firmly in her control then she would fight Delilah until one of them was dead. Surprisingly enough Deililah did not think that she would win that fight, so she decided to lay low until she figured out how to get out of the brood mothers clutches.
Delilah was on the surface again, a couple more days had passed and not much else had happened she had finally gone through the rest of the prompts flashing in the corner of her vision. It turned out that during her short time on Etherella she had gained quite a few achievements which in turn gave her a number of extra bonuses which would surely be useful in the future.

There was a lot of information contained within the short prompt and most of it was positive. She did not fully understand all the ramifications of the god greeter’s benefits however they seemed to be advantageous to her. Godseed was a straight up disappointment and snarky to boot however she could not really complain as the ability gave very strong bonuses to her. Reborn seemed to just give some much needed stat points. Spoken to an admin seemed… concerning however she was not planning on having any more contact with the terrifying admins whoever they were so it was a non issue. Class creator, The Rabbit and Epic creature sounded just straight up powerful and made her feel much more secure about her squishy rabbit form, although she suspected that even still she wouldn’t be the match of a human child let alone anything stronger. She also realized that although she seemed to be racking in stat points from these achievements she still did not know how much stats did. Dungeon defier was mixed? It seemed as if the dungeon was in fact controlling her actions to some extent so she was obviously ecstatic to be free from its influence however it did seem to be pushing her towards having a confrontation with the brood mother and seen as the brood mother was the size of a small bear she did not think she stood a chance even with all of her bonuses. In addition to the achievements that she had gotten Delilah also. Wait. Something was wrong Delilah looked around her to see why her senses were screaming at her that something was very, very wrong. As she turned to look for her fellow rabbits she saw that they had all vanished. And furthermore she had accidently wandered far away from any burrows. If she could sweat she knew that there would be a cold drench covering her fur. Something had made all of the other rabbits flee and that something would have almost definitely noticed Delilah by now.
Delilah set off with a mighty hop moving swiftly through the high grass. Her feet pounded the tough soil gaining traction and propelling her faster and faster towards safety. The world rushed past her at much greater speed than she was used to however somehow her body knew exactly what to. Her mind was in a flurry, what was chasing her? How far was the burrow? What if she didn’t make it? Should she make a stand or take her chance? A myriad of similar questions raced through her thoughts so much so that she did not see the dip in the earth directly in front of her front paws. Everything happened too fast for her to comprehend, the ground missed her paws and slammed into them a second too late. On instinct she still pressed into the ground, hard. Hot agony flared through her shoulders as they bent unnaturally backwards. As she rose from the ground something ripped a deep gouge through her underside. On reflex as the overwhelming sensation of her insides gaining exposure to the air hit her, her body became rigid causing both of her legs to shoot backwards causing her right leg to collide hard with something traveling at great speed straight into her foot. As the crunch of bone and cartilage reverberated through her body Delilah was thrown straight back into the ground which she had just pushed off of half a second prior. Her paws, having not moved since being rammed the first time into the ground, took another impact which caused a tearing sensation further flooding her mind in pain. Luckily because of her paws being so far above her head she avoided smashing her skull into the hard ground and instead rolled the impact through her back until her orientation flipped again throwing her onto something soft and then back crashing though the hard dirt, each impact with the ground compounding the injuries she had already taken. Eventually she came to a stop and simply curled up into a ball of pain.
The bald eagle soared on an updraft as it scoured the land for pray, from the eagles great vantage point it could see the vast landscape stretch beneath it. The eagle knew that it would have to return to its nest soon as the sun was setting however it was determined to bring back sustenance for its young. The ground under where the eagle flew was a small patch of plains surrounded mostly with forest to the south and hills turning to mountains in the north. If the eagle had had the desire to it could have looked through the gaps in the mountains to see the gray lifeless landscape of the deadlands stretching to the horizon. However, the eagle did not care about such mundane things as the landscape any more than how the landscape affected what pray would be scampering beneath it. With mounting carnal desire the eagle spotted a patch of fields where crisscrossing purple lines marked the existence of pray. The eagle banked and propelled itself in the direction of what could be its first meal of the day. The eagle was not hungry as such, as it had gorged itself on a smaller bird a couple of days ago, however its young were not quite so content meaning the eagle had stretched its wings and left in search of a meal for its babies. As the eagle angled itself towards its potential pray it spotted, with disappointment in its heart that the small furry creatures beneath it were already scampering into holes in the ground the eagle decided to have a last fruitless study of the plains in hopes that it could find something for its young. That was where the eagle spotted a solitary, four-legged, fluffy creature standing carefree by itself munching on some grass. The eagle dived, pray this easy was rare and the eagle would not let this opportunity slip through its talons. To the eagle’s surprise and as if the creature under it had eyes on the back of its head it began to move with great agility towards one of the holes in the ground the second that the eagle began to descend towards it. However, the eagle knew that despite beginning to flee the strange creature under it would have no chance to evade the eagles might. True enough as the eagle dived it was clear that the eagle would easily reach the creature before it fled. As the eagle drew closer to its pray the eagle could make out that it was a rabbit which the eagle was hunting and every second that passed the eagle grew exponentially closer to its pray. Now the eagle was mere feet away from the rabbit, it outstretched it claws with glee in its cold heart when the unexpected happened. The front of the rabbit’s body seemed to dip under the ground yet instead of falling into a hole to safety the rabbit launched itself back out of the tiny indent of the ground and ended up soaring horizontally through the air. The eagle tried to change its trajectory in order to still catch the rabbit but only managed to cut a shallow gouge in the rabbit’s underbelly as the rabbit managed to clear right over the eagles talon. Before the eagle could react to this impossible feat of rabbit acrobatics a foot appeared right in front of the eagle’s eye socket and moved with great momentum into the eagles skull.
