Chapter 9 - 4 Years

“This isn't what I want father! Why do we have to lower our head to this evil man!? He only knew how to torture our family!”

In Hira’s mind, Augustur’s childhood memories are being played at countless time. The memories are being played until Augustur reached the peak of Nirvana realm reaching his youth moment! Countless scenes are being played in Hira’s mind.

“I'll show you the difference between earth and sky!”

A battle with another child in a clan’s tournament.

Every scene had a different event, every event had a different tale, every tale had a different results!

Every memory had a different sense of emotional impact. It let Hira to has a deep understanding towards how human emotion work. Those memories had been like a second life for Hira!

All the cultivation method that Augustur got until he reached the peak-Nirvana realm had been completely passed toward Hira! Even though Hira is in slumber, his mind is slowly cultivating and refining the information that he got from the memory.

It took four years for Hira to completely refine all the memories!

This process continued until Hira reached the age of 15. Then his eyes suddenly tremble!

In Ilsiya continent, a rich and wealthy kingdom that had a lot of noble offspring is bustling with life. This kingdom is called Avarganda, it is situated at the center of Ilsiya continent and one of the main kingdom in the continent. Ilsiya continent is made up of eight kingdoms and each kingdom contained 21 provinces. This had already proved how large Ilsiya is.

Avarganda is where most of the trades and business transactions are made. Because of the geography, Avarganda had become the wealthiest kingdom in Ilsiya. 70% of the kingdom population is made up of nobles. Because of this, the kingdom had a lot of competitive noble who want to raise their rank. Even though there is 30% commoners in the kingdom, most of them are a genius cultivator or a talented person in business field! This had caused Avarganda to have a high reputation on their sects and schools.

Most of the successful commoner would then apply an allegiance toward a faction. This will help them to have a backing to support them. And if they have a world-defying talent, they might have a chance to join the royalties of the continent which made up from the eight kingdom alliance.

The royalty faction of Ilsiya is created by the founder of Ilsiya and they are called, Ruby Manor! Even the king of each kingdom would have to submit themselves into this faction!

The Ruby Manor is treated as a legendary term of a faction that controlling all over Ilsiya! And only someone who with an insurmountable amount of luck and talent would be able to applied for it! Most of their conflict isn't publicly known by people, only a few of high-standing people would have some knowledge about it. This had made the faction to be a myth for mortals.

That is why most of the commoner will aligned themselves with a sect, school or clan. Their requirements are much lower than the legendary Ruby Manor.

Though there is a lot of sect, school and clan in Avarganda, the top five ranking is taken by:

1.       Regal Dragoneer Clan

2.      Golden Radiance Clan

3.      Diamond Blue Lotus Sect

4.     Yellow Leaf Avenue Clan

5.      Bamboo Blade Style School

Even though the five of them is ranked, in term of military strength all of them are in equal terms! The difference between them is only in terms of wealth and resources. In exception of Regal Dragoneer Clan, most of the major conflicts in the kingdom are caused by those top sect and clan.

This is because, the Regal Dragoneer Clan is the one who control Avarganda and had the backing of Ruby Manor! They are royalty in the kingdom! The other top ranking faction would never wish to have a conflict between this clan! Even the king of Avarganda kingdom is born from Regal Dragoneer Clan.

In Avarganda’s history, there is still no record of a person from another clan to rise as a king! All of them are born from Regal Dragoneer Clan! And of course, this clan is definitely not a pushover, even without the Ruby Manor backing as support, they can still stand on equal ground with the other top faction without any inferiority!

“It had been 6 years…..”

At the south of Avarganda, it is where the Golden Radiance Clan situated. This clan is one of the noble clan in Avarganda kingdom. The clan’s size is very large and can even be compared with an ordinary province. The civilization of this sect can be considered very high and there is a lot of modern building for the people living there. Most of them are made up of nobles and only a few commoners are living there as a servant.

In a lavish mansion, there stood an old man who is watching outside of the mansion window. The old man wore a very luxurious robe and accessories. He has a very neat hair with some wrinkles on his face. The most frightening about his appearance is the long scars which begin from his forehead toward his right eye and continue without stopping toward the end of his robe! The scar is very terrifying and could strike fear to anyone! On his right hand is a cup of red wine which he occasionally sipped. Even the cup is luxurious!

The old man’s expression is indifferent but it still can't hide a trace of fear in his heart.

“6 years, and there still no news about them…Have they truly perish? But what is this foreboding feeling …” He said with a remorseful tone with a hint of anxiety.

He is the patriarch of the Golden Radiance Clan, the top ranking faction in Avarganda! One of the prominent characters in Avarganda!

Greyr Halbert!

One mention of his name will cause mortal to be trembling with sweat!

In his mind played a scene where a skinny old man with a wooden staff on his hand floating in the mid-air. Even though the skinny old man’s complexion is terrible, his mouth still smiling with satisfaction while looking at Greyr Halbert!

“..... It seems this calamity really can't be avoided by my clan, but remember this you cowardly old dog, soon, your clan will be annihilated by my own clansmen!” The skinny old man shouted loudly while looking very proud! His skinny figure had been completely overshadowed by his explosive aura!

Closing his eyes, the patriach of the Golden Radiance Sect remembered the proud figure and touch his right eye. In his heart, a trace of fear and anxiety emit when remembering the scene. His hand sometimes trembled creating a fissure in the red wine liquid. Then he took a deep breath and resolved his heart!

“Hmph, even if you, Jumon, the head of Red Willow Fate Village said that, it will not stop my dream to stand at the top of this continent!” The patriarch then turns his head away from the window and walk slowly and gracefully toward the room's door. His step is the proof of a grandmaster!

Outside the north gate of Avarganda, a small commotion is made from a few youth. Three of the youth are wearing a sky blue robe with the same kind of sword tied behind their back, while the other two are wearing a blood red robe. Both of the blood red robe youth doesn't wield any weapon and seems to be proficient with hand-to-hand combat.

“What do you mean “give it to me”? We had poured all our sweat for this treasure! And you want to rob us!?” One of the blood red robe youth shout toward a youth with arrogance aura. The arrogant youth is wearing a sky blue robe and has a very neat face different from his character. With one glance, an ordinary person might thought this arrogant youth is an honest person.

“Well you see, I want IT. Don't you get it? I, Caulfield had even promised to give some compensation for both of your hard work. Is that still not enough?” This arrogant youth who just shamelessly announced his name released an immense aura while replying to one of the blood red robe youth.

Even though he is arrogant, he has the ability to be, because he is one of the geniuses in his school!

The blood red robe seems unable to contain his anger anymore and took a fighting stance! Even though the pressure released by Caulfield is huge, he still resists it with difficulty.

“I, Jinka had never meets a shameless person like you! Come, even if you want to rob us both, then we will resist you to death!” The violent-looking youth said it toward Caulfield with a domineering expression.

This Jinka is from a high ranking school, the Blood Fist School! Even though the school isn't placed on the top ranking, it still has a line of powerful disciples.

“Aiya, even though I had tried my best to persuade you, it still comes to this. Well come then, both of you.” This arrogant Caulfield said it toward Jinka and his partner with a sinister smile. The two youth behind him take a step back while watching both of Jinka and his partner with disdain.

A vein pop out from his head, Jinka knew he will absolutely lose, with Caulfield as his opponent.

But what can he do?

Strength plays the major role in hierarchy! He can only blame himself for not having enough strength!

“Yulua, immediately attack him with your full power! Us mid-Median realm practitioner can't possibly had enough power to defeat an early-High realm practitioner! Just…..us hope for a miracle to happen….” Jinka and his partner, Yulua immediately took their school fighting stance! Both of them had a solemn expression on their face. Even though they can escape into Avarganda kingdom's north gate and avoid this bad luck, they knew both of the youth behind Caulfield had enough power to stop them! They are only leaved with one option, to resist!

“Haha, what a loser. Even though you can just give me the treasure, you still want to be beaten up! What an idiot!” The one who take the first initiative is Caulfield! He runs toward both of them with high speed!

Jinka and Yulua immediately use their martial techniques to defend themselves! Even though both of them and Caulfield had only one year gap in their age, their realm gap is too huge. A Median realm and High realm gap is very distinct! They even doubt that the martial techniques they used can even resist Caulfield’s strike!

“Blue Flame Fist!” The martial technique Caulfield used is the most basic technique in his school. This just shows how much both of Jinka and Yulua are being looked down by him!

Watching Caulfield not even unsheathe his sword, Jinka can only gritted his teeth. Even though he felt grateful that the sword isn't being used, he also felt a sense of shamefulness! This guy, doesn't even put us in his eyes!

The incoming blue strike from Caulfield is closing up with Jinka and Yulua! Both of them can only succumb to their fate for this bad luck!

But unknown to them, a figure is suddenly flying toward their enemy! Although it seems like flying, he is actually being thrown out by unknown force!

“Woah!! Watch out blue guy!” The figure shouted toward Caulfield.

The three of them are stupefied with this sudden event! The blue flame from Caulfield’s fist immediately dissipated! Because right in front of him is the figure’s butt!

*Thump!*

Caulfield face is sinking into the butt!

Both Jinka and Yulua can only hold their laughter when watching this comedic scene.

“Ah….Even though I'm in the middle of eating..”

When they saw the mysterious figure, they immediately become shocked! Because his looks are young and probably had the same age as themselves!

*Pew*

A moment of silence.

All of the figure that involve in this event have a dumbfounded face! Their eyes are almost pop out!

This mysterious youth actually fart toward Caulfield’s face! And in a tight space at that!
