Chapter 2 - Hope

The majestic door is very huge giving Hira a suffocating feels! The door has a very bizarre and beautiful design with some ancientness that appeared on the surface texture of the door. The door seems to be carved from a red wood that is covered with gold coating. From below to the top of the door, there is a drawing that looks like an historical event. Each drawing is divided by a deep carved horizontal line giving it an appearance of a different tale for each level. But the most visible drawing is on the top of door which looks like a human wielding one dagger and one sword on both of his hand, with a great sword carried at his back! What kind of strength does this man possessed!? To be able to wield and master a multiple type of weaponry and gear is very difficult! Not even a Perfect realm practitioner will be able to do it! Just what realm has this man in the drawing achieved!? This drawing has imparted a deep impression towards Hira, it’s like an enlightenment to him.

Hira watch the door with awe and just stand there without doing anything. Suddenly, the door opened without any warning and startled Hira. With the bright light it emit, no mortal can see what inside of this majestic door.

“What in the world is this door….. but this feelings… it seems like someone calling me… But I don't even know what inside this door…. Should go in?” Obviously being a very cautious person, even if he is shocked by the sudden appearance of the door, he is still going to be very careful and not going to throw his life for nothing. But with a lot of burden in his heart and mind, he had to acquire a strength that surpasses everything quickly!

“Tch! What am I hesitating for!? I already determine to face any obstacle in front of me! And now there is a big opportunity and I am feeling hesitant!?” After composing himself and preparing his mentality, he then took a glance at the top drawing on the door. His eyes shine brightly and he takes a step forward into the majestic door!

Upon entering the door, Hira felt like he's been baptized by a very warm and powerful energy! Unlike when he was absorbing the mana essence, this energy feels very warm and wild! Surprised by this sudden event, he is shocked by the transformation that his body has made. He feels like he can produce any elemental energy using his own body. And the physical energy on his body is being increased by a huge amount! After not being able to absorb mana essence for two years, he had stuck in Neophyte realm for two years! This had made him almost lose hope for getting his revenge and his dream to reach the pinnacle! If his talent haven't been forcefully taken, he would already reached the peak of Median realm by now or might even had broken through to the early-High realm!

But this baptized? It made him instantly broke through the Neophyte realm and enter the Median realm! Not stopping there, the energy absorbed by him is unceasingly supplied by the mysterious energy until he reached the peak of Median realm!

“Th-This….. “ Unable to comprehend what happening around him, his composure are crushed and only a baffled expression left on his face. An instant breakthrough!? That is not possible! Never had he heard any of the people in his clan had ever encountered this kind of fortuitous event! Elder Ju once told him that their clan is one of the strongest clan in this continent. Though, he didn't believe at it. Because how can this small kind of village be one of the strongest? But unknown to him, he had never step outside of the village so he doesn't know anything about his clan reputation and power! He always thought that his clan was a mediocre clan that only lived peacefully. Without being exposed to the outer world, Hira’s common sense is a little bit different from other people.

Probably not little.

His clan is surely one of the top clan in the continent, but let leave that matter for another time. The main thing is, even with a top clan like Hira’s clan, there is no written history about an instant breakthrough! All of the top clan that has rose to prominence, has existed from the ancient time. And there still no record of this! Though there is some big figure of the clan that had a fortuitous encounter and become a very powerful practitioner, there isn't anyone who has this kind of encounter!

This is Hira’s own encounter! It is his own fate!

“Ha-ahahahaha! Unbelievable! This is what you called a miracle! With this baptism, I can continue to cultivate and train myself toward the pinnacle!“ Can't contain his excitement anymore, he started to laugh loudly and happily. After the baptism process completed, Hira’s has ascended to the peak-Median realm, and his body had become tougher compared toward an average human! His body might even be able to rival a mighty beast body! But the most important matter is, right now he can control four of the main element! Fire, water, earth and wind! Normally, a human can only controlled one element and for a rare cases there will be a human that been able to control dual element! And this kind of human is called a genius among genius! But there is still no human who can control four element at once! With this kind of improvement, how can Hira not be happy? Even a Nirvana realm practitioner would be crazy for this kind of reward!

When the white light that had blinded Hira’s eyes in baptism process slowly disintegrate, an unknown building suddenly appear in front of him. Right now, he is in front of an ancient building that is carved with a neat unknown symbol. This building gave an unfathomable feeling toward Hira. When he is in front of the building he felt like he is being checked on by someone unknown. It felt really uncomfortable, and weird.

But who is Hira? He is an unrestrained youth that have determined to face any obstacles that have been given to him! He will face everything without any fear! That is his path!

“Stop hiding and come out! I don't like being observed!” Without any hesitation he shouted in front of him even knowing that there might even be a supreme expert that living in the building. He doesn't want to be a coward that only known how to hide when being bullied by someone more powerful than him! He already had enough of being weak and fragile! He has decided to create his own path, his own destiny!

*Silence*

After a moment of silence, suddenly an oppressive aura appears and started to crush Hira! The aura came without any warning and Hira is completely unprepared! But with his own leg, he resisted the aura as much as he can and started to control his own elemental power to create a barrier to protect him. Then suddenly behind him appeared a black ring from his own back! Stupefied by this, he thought it was an enemy attack but he shockingly felt a sense of familiarity with the black ring. It felt like he can control it and use it!

When Hira accidentally thought to create a barrier, the black ring let out an azure lightning that create a spherical barrier around him. With the barrier he doesn't felt the pressure anymore and feel like he can walk and run normally!

“Hoh, it seems you're the inheritor of his legacy. That is quite surprising, for someone like him to have a person that has a same spirit as him.”

Shocked by an unexpected voice, Hira heart almost stopped! This voice sounded very hoarse and it let out a deathly aura! He felt that the man behind the voice can even kill him with his own voice!

“Well now now, no need to be afraid. Just think of me as a normal old man passing by.”

How the hell should I thought that!? Even hearing your voice almost stopped my heart!

Obviously he doesn't just rant out like that, or else he would surely be killed.

“Junior Hira, greet ancestor. “ After being shocked enough, Hira cupped his hand toward the building and slightly bow.

“Hoh, youngster this day sure respect their elder. Not like before….. “ Then the voice suddenly start to babbled nonsense stuff of how the youngster back at the ancient time and start to tell the story about himself.

Stupefied by the voice action, Hira can just endure himself to hear the babbling of this elder. But surprisingly, he started listening to the old man diligently because of the content is something that he had never known and it sounds very interesting. The old man told Hira, how the world split into five continent and the difference of power in each continent. And the continent that Hira placed right now is called, Ilsiya. Ilsiya is placed between two continents and had become a trading post for each kingdom existed on both continents. Though Ilsiya isn't one of the strongest continents, it also isn't the weakest one. In term of military power, Ilsiya is placed in middle rank. But in term of wealth, Ilsiya is the wealthiest one. Though the old man doesn't sure that if his information is still correct because he said the last time he visit the continent is hundreds years ago.

“Hundreds years!? Are you trying swindle me old man?” After talking with the old man for hours, Hira had become much more familiar with him and started to talk casually.

“You little rascal! How can I the great “Death Severer” would lie to a little kid like you!?” Irritate by Hira question the old man scold him. The old man has started to treat Hira as his friend because of Hira’s easygoing personality.  

“Uhm… is that your title old man? “Death Severer”?” Hira suddenly ask about the old man’s title. Surely the title….seems to be a little bit childish…

“Haha yes of course! I'm proud of it! Isn't it sounded really cool?” The old man suddenly becomes excited when Hira ask about his title.

“Pfft…. . Ahahahahahahaha!!! What are you, a kid!? “Death Severer”.....ahahahahahah!! I am the “Death Severer”!! Pfft…. Ahahahahah!” Hira thought that the title is very childish and only a dreamy kid would be able to come up with that title.

“W-what do you mean!? You're the kid! “ Baffled by Hira action, his face unknowingly become very red as tomatoes when watching Hira, using his title to act as a great comedic hero. He doesn't know why, but he felt very embarrassed and want to dig a hole on the ground and stuff his face into it!

“Then old man, one last question, just who came up with that title?” After taking some breather, Hira ask the old man a question.

“Huh? Why did you ask that? It's the great me obviously! “

“Pfft… Ahahahahahaha!! “ Hira laughter rang much louder than ever.
