The Bully

The students trudged outside the transfiguration classroom looking like zombies, it was an exhausting long hour of practicing wand movements. Morsia got all kinds of 'looks' from fellow students. The Ravenclaws didn't mind her presence but her own kith in Hogwarts, the Slytherins taunted her with abusive words against her.

"Damn, she's so dumb," a Slytherin commented to her friend as she walked past Morsia.

"Dumber than a muggle," her friend added as they both laughed at her.

Morsia walked toward the staircase to go to the great hall for lunch, but it was blocked by a tiny group of Slytherins bullying a first-year boy.

"You don't want to get into trouble, do you?"

"Finish my homework, Alright?" it was Notts.

Riddle just came out of the classroom after talking to Dumbledore about his various doubts in the lesson. He saw the rather usual scene near the staircase. He smirked at Notts, she doesn't have a powerful identity but is still boastful enough to dominate kids.

"Huh?? Are you refusing?? Brat, I'm a prefect!" Notts yelled and pushed the first-year boy who rolled down the stairs stumbling and wincing in pain.

No one dared to interfere with the atrocity of her and simply waited or enjoyed watching the kid getting bullied.

Morsia didn't care about it, she was looking forward to eating the Treacle tart and roasted and baked chicken for lunch. She slowly descended the stairs, passed through the crowd, and stood right behind Notts, who standing victoriously.

"Move," Morsia told Notts as she quickly turned back startled for a second about Morsia's presence.

"Aww, It's the mud blood from Slytherin," Notts retorted pushing Morsia backward.

"You think you're better than me bitch?" she added furiously.

The Slytherins who stood beside them laughed at the remark.

But Morsia didn't flinch, she simply stood there like a statue-rather beautiful one, on the stairs.

All of a sudden, Notts drew out her wand to everyone's surprise. Everyone gasped at her but Morsia didn't seem to bother even a tiny bit.

"Honey, a wand can kill you," Notts told Morsia mockingly.

Upon seeing this, Riddle trudged towards the stairs, and everyone paved the way for him.

"Notts, Wands down," he interfered, as he held his books in one hand and his wand in the other.

Notts looked warily at him, confused as to why he is interfering all of a sudden. He usually doesn't mind it at all.

"You're a Prefect, remember?" he whispered in her ears, dangerously close to her now.

Notts felt a chill run down her spine, his words weren't threatening but he made it sound like one.

It's not like Riddle was playing the hero and saving Morsia from trouble. It was solely a selfish reason. If this got bigger, which it definitely will since it's evident that Notts is extremely jealous of Morsia, the professors will get involved and they will definitely question Riddle about what he did, as a prefect.

The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.

"But she--," Notts stumbled with words with the sudden arrival of him. She slowly moved away from Morsia's path, and everyone who was watching dispersed to do their own work.

The Great Hall was as charismatic as ever, the students filled the hall faster contrary to the morning.

Morsia made her way towards the Slytherin table followed closely by Riddle and the girl who talked to her during breakfast. Rosier and Avery were murmuring about something which was very obvious it was about Morsia.

Morsia sat down and the girl sat beside her looking warily towards her. Morsia busied herself with eating the main course, the roasted chicken.

Riddle sat in the opposite seat facing Morsia, he too busied himself with eating lunch.

"I'm sorry about earlier, Morsia," the girl slowly talked to her.

"I --Uh I didn't think everyone would've heard you talking," she said frowning.

"That's okay, I don't mind," Morsia said coolly focusing on the chicken.

"I'm Camille by the way," she introduced herself, to which Morsia nodded in acknowledgment.

"You're lucky that Riddle saved you!" she remarked looking cheerfully at Riddle who smiled in return.

'and that Notts is a total bitch, I tell you,' she hushed as she bowed close to Morsia.

"You should thank Riddle," she added sitting straight.

"For what?" Morsia asked casually, whilst chewing the chicken, even doing that she looked rather graceful.

"Umm for saving you?" Camille added looking curiously dumb.

"He was simply doing his job as a prefect," Morsia replied.

"But if you insist", she added now looking at Riddle who was looking down at his lunch but his ears keenly listening to them.

"Thank you for saving my ass, Riddle," she said looking dead in his eyes as he lifted his head at the mention of his name.

He almost spat his contents from the mouth, he carefully gulped them down before clearing his throat to say, "No problem."

Camille covered her wide open mouth, looking admiringly at Morsia, who now got back to her busy chicken-eating marathon.

'Did she mock me right now?' riddle wondered furiously clenching his fist and gritting his teeth in silence.

"Damn it!" Notts just came down for lunch slamming her hands on the table, sitting beside Riddle.

"So many annoying flies at the lunch table," she retorted looking around at Camille and Morsia.

Morsia sneakily looked at Camille who twisted and turned in her seat uncomfortably. She grabbed her thighs, causing her to startle.

"You're ruining my lunch hour," she told looking at her friend but everyone felt like the message was for Notts.

There were a lot of ooos and woahs from the Ravenclaw table who sat close to the Slytherins, watching and waiting for drama.

"Hey, Morsia!" the Ravenclaw girl who sat beside Morsia walked toward her holding on to some jar.

"Hey," Morsia acknowledged her with a smile.

"Well, I had an extra Jar of licorice wands, thought I'd give it to you", she said looking cheerfully at Morsia.

"Oh," Morsia looked curiously at the jar.

"They are treats! you can munch them when you're bored of studying," she added, handing Morsia the jar full of licorice wands.

"Thank you," Morsia held onto it smiling widely at her, once again stealing people's hearts with her deep dimples.

Notts was fuming, looking at the Ravenclaw girl and Mortia.

"You can call me Amara," the Ravenclaw girl patted Morsia's shoulders.

"Argh, What's the Ravenclaw fly doing at the Slytherin table?" Notts remarked looking slyly at Morsia and the Ravenclaw girl.

Amara rolled her eyes.

"Don't you smell something burning?" Amara looked around mockingly squinting her nose.

"I bet it's because of the licorice wands," she chuckled softly before leaving.

Notts was pissed off by this remark, she has to do something to gain back her 'coolness' as everyone around didn't seem to mind her much.

"Why do I smell traitors in here," she hastily added looking at her fellow girls expecting them to side with her.

Rosier who sat in front of her beside Camille signed his girlfriend, 'That's a bad one'

Riddle saw his weird signing skills and went back to eating. Notts fumed even more and threw a chicken leg at Rosier.

"Hey! I was being honest!" he said out loud causing everyone who saw his action before to laugh in silence.

Notts felt totally defeated, she looked warily at Riddle, wondering if he is helping out Morsia because he likes her just like every other simp in Hogwarts. But she couldn't bring herself to ask it out loud.

Riddle sensed her gaze and quickly finished eating and stood up to leave the Hall without looking back. Just as he walked past the hall, girls from the other houses gasped at his flawless demeanor as he held himself high.

Morsia too was done with her lunch and started walking toward the entrance of the great hall.
