Bedroom of Prince Chronos Astral
Prince Chronos’s Point of View
Before I could finish my sentence, the air nearby crackled with a faint hum. A faint pulsating dark purple light a stone's throw away from my bed caught my attention. A subtle wave of energy echoed out of it before forming an oval passageway, its purple outline gradually darkening into an abyss black.
I noticed an elderly woman and a younger woman materializing out of the portal,
“Stop teasing my baby boy! Athena or…”
A deep voice came from an elderly woman whom I recognised as the elderly lady who held onto me the night before. The purple portal behind the pair shimmered and faded away as if it never existed.
Before she could finish her sentence a sweet but serene voice interrupted.
“Baby brother! Our little Chronos is here!!”
A younger lady more radiant and angelic than the foxy Athena rushed toward me with her arms spread open. She leapt and floated towards my bed spread-eagled. I squinted my eyes bracing for impact when I suddenly felt myself levitating in the air and floating into the arms of the elderly lady.
“Don’t scare my baby boy… you two…” she chided before she turned back to me, pinching my cheek with her free hand, giving me a loving smile.
“Tai Sui.. Grandmama?” I blurted out, the knowledge almost coming out of nowhere.
Her gentle loving smile lit up with warmth and joy, exclaiming:
“I’m the first one our little Chronos remembered!”
Athena interjected, “Actually… He…”
Grandmama turned and glared at Athena and with a wave of a finger, I could see Athena in the corner of my eye, completely inanimate, unable to make a sound.
I looked up at my grandmama, eyes opened wide. ‘She must be a super powerful being…. To freeze someone like Athena in her tracks with such ease…’
She looked back down toward me, her wrinkled face crumpling with another loving smile. She lightly pinched the edge of my nose and said,
“Welcome to the world baby boy, as your favorite family member and the greatest Grandmama in all the lands I will make sure no one dares bully you ever again!”
She struck a pose with her free arm perched to her hips as she looked forward with me in her left arm, grinning and almost gleaming with happiness.
“ *Ahem* *Ahem* Grandmama sister Athena’s frozen in a very awkward position”
Grandmama snapped out of her pose and shot a look of displeasure from the corner of her eye and waved a finger…
Athena almost stumbled as she was freed from suspension. She immediately groaned,
“Hmph! Grandmama I used to be your baby girl too you know…! How can you suddenly become so biased!”
Stomping lightly on the ground in displeasure with her arms folded.

“Find a husband and bring me a great grandson, then I'll tell you why…. You’re already a hundred years old and you still stink of a virgin.. when can you…”
As rage started filling my theatrical Grandmama, my second sister grabbed me by my armpits and put me in front of her face.
I saw a breathtaking smile from a young beauty with the same pearlesque skin and glistening purple hair. The silky long hair cascaded down her back like a shimmering waterfall. Beneath her bangs were two piercing, white eyes which seemed to hold a wisdom beyond her years, giving her an air of intrigue and mystery.
She was dressed in a formal gown, the fabric an ethereal shade of white that seemed to glow in the light. The dress was adorned with intricate beading and embroidery, each detail carefully crafted to accentuate her natural beauty.
Her features were delicate and refined, with high cheekbones and a small, pointed chin. Her lips were full and a soft shade of pink, adding a touch of warmth to her otherwise cool appearance.
Dumbfounded once again by the situation I was in, without much thought i waved an arm across her glistening silvery white eyes and blurted out,
“Sister Sophia.. are you blind…?”
The squabbling grandma and granddaughter instantly stopped, I turned to see that both of them had shifted their gaze toward us.
“HAHAHAHAHAHA…..!”
Athena broke the moment of silence suddenly bellowing in laughter, wiping tears from the corner of her eye.
She pointed at Sophia almost as if gasping for air, “Are you blind? HAHAHAHA”
*SMACK*
Grandmama waved finger and a loud smack hit the back of Athena’s head,
“When will I ever get a great grandchild if you continue acting so barbaric and unladylike!”
I chuckled and turned back to Sophia, instantly lost in the serenity and beauty of those silvery white irises.
She gave a light chuckle that would’ve probably brought half the bachelors of Tertius to their knees and said,
“Silly little brother, I was blessed with powers of foresight, this silver is symbolic of the essence of time, while the dark purple of sister Athena symbolizes the powers of space.”
I could see in my peripheral sister Athena standing proudly with her arms arched by her hips, chin in the air. However, just as she was about to speak.
*SMACK*
“Is that the way a cultured lady should be standing??!” Grandmama once again belted out completely ignoring her own domineering demeanor.
Sister Sophia then conjured a mirror to the left of us and as soon as I turned, my eyes bulged, stunned.
“You see my baby brother, you yourself have eyes of silver and dark purple, are you half blind?” She giggled.
Looking back at me was a childish yet well-toned face of a 3 year-old. I had a hair of dark purple with whitish edges and my eyes were both colors mixed. My irises looked like a white light had shone into a deep purple void of space - Mysterious yet regal in its rights.
Grandmama teleported beside the mirror, but I couldn’t express more shock as my eyes were already wide open.
She smiled and said excitedly,
“You are a very special one my dear, it seems that you have been blessed with the same extraordinary affinity to time and space like your mother and Grandmama! ”
“With the excellent genetics of our Tai Kong Clan to carry whatever you might’ve inherited from your grandfather's lineage….”
She didn’t finish her sentence but at this point she had put on a smile so bright her eyes formed the shape of crescents.
‘It seems like I drew the genetic jackpot!’
“What’s special about my dad’s side of the family?” I asked, intentionally avoiding the topic of his absence.
"Hmm how do i explain this, before Tertius was named Tertius, there was an incident… which caused a planet-wide flood which then froze over.”
“Many years after this incident, humans were created amidst a world of ice and snow; It was precisely due to the fact that the conditions were so rough that they were forced to evolve into a physically stronger race.”
“In addition, gods who survived the flood took pity on their creations and guided them through a path of cultivation and technology that is completely different to ours.”
“The environment then was also more dense with dimensional energy so our ancestors, or the Apep, evolved into a bigger stronger form of humans than we see today.
“However, about 12,000 years ago, two powerful beings came to the planet by mistake, they were a pair of mighty beings whose battle brought them into our planet by accident….”
“The aftermath of their decade-long duel left our planet in ruins, essentially wiping out the Apep and most life-forms with them.”
“Out of the two mighty beings one died and the survivor who was heavily wounded… is your grandfather.”
“WHAT? Grandfather is an alien?!” Athena’s resonant probe shook the room we were in.
“Even I don’t know much about him, except that like most other powerful beings, he has been exiled to a different realm.” Grandmama shook her head as she calmly replied.
‘Woah… plot twist… I am a descendant of an ancient clan of Time and Space… and… I’m half alien?!!!”
I was lost in thought for a moment but i turned away from Grandmama and asked sister Sophia coyly,
“Could you please put me down first sister Sophia?”
Sophia snapped out of her shock and train of thought at my plea. She placed me gently on my two tiny feet and I tried to walk toward my bed as I remembered how to. I lifted my right leg focusing on getting back to the top of my bed, mid- waddle, a creeping sensation of fatigue and headache flooded me.
Just as I was about to lose balance and face plant into the floor, I could hear the start of Athena’s laughter.
‘This is embarrassing… get to the bed …. I need to get to my bed before I…’
Just as I blacked out, I heard a muffled choke as my eyes closed slowly. I… was already on the bed?
Grandmama and the two sisters looked at each other in silence, exchanging looks of shock and awe.
A whisper followed…
“Did He…. Just…. Teleport?”
