The Four Other Slimes

The Four Other Slimes

[Kill Slimes: 1/10]

Gasp! Gasp! Gasp!

"I killed that bastard?" Heaving a few mouthfuls of breaths, Vi muttered with obvious doubt in his voice. He was yet to believe what he was seeing. The hologram screen floating in front of him was what he longed to see. But now that it appeared before him so suddenly, surprise and disbelief filled his heart. Did he really manage to kill that Bone Slime which was so hard to scratch before? Not only did he kill him, he even killed him with ease. The other party didn't even have a chance to retaliate before he turned into countless pieces. Did he really become so strong after grasping the very essence of the world's mana?

Vi had plenty of questions in his heart. But knowing that he wasn't hallucinating as he had really killed the Bone Slime, a wide smile suddenly appeared on his lips. The coldness in his eyes vanished as it had been replaced by joy.

A moment later, the smile on his lips soon turned into laughter. He laughed with joy as slight tears even dropped from the edge of his eyes. To think that after more than a month of suffering, only now would he get his first kill. This would sound ridiculous to others, but getting his first kill after over a month was a great achievement for him. He could finally see a ray of hope to leave that damned tutorial ground.

Four creatures hiding somewhere while watching the occurrence were speechless after seeing what had just happened. They doubted what they saw and thought that their eyes were deceiving them.

"Did that bastard just die from the hand of my disciple?"

A voice so deep sounded beneath the pond. It carried an unfathomable bloodlust that if anyone were to hear it, they would be shivering in fear and be begging for their lives by now.

However, to Vi, who had heard it plenty of times already, the shocked voice of this certain slime was too good for him to hear.

"What a careless bastard. How could he allow himself to be killed so easily... But thinking about it again, his death is due to the great talent that my disciple had displayed. I congratulate you, my dear disciple, on taking your first step to become stronger."

The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.

In the depths of the shadow below the towering trees, another sinister voice sounded. Anyone else who would hear this voice might succumb to the abyss and be lost in all eternity. But for Vi, who had gotten used to it, this voice had little to no effect on him at all.

"It seems like my beloved disciple has finally grown up, huh," Another tyrannical voice sounded and it seemed like it came from below the ground. Although this voice seemed to come from a woman, it didn't pale in comparison to the other voices in terms of how sinister they were.

"..." Vi heard their voices and they sounded in his ear just clear enough. He had already stopped laughing long ago, as he knew that this was not the right time to celebrate. After all, there were four other slimes in the area that he needed to take down. And he knew full well how terrifying they were. If he let his guard down just because he killed one of them, then he might really be killed instantly at that very moment.

"Come! All of you! I will definitely take you all down this time!" Vi roared. To himself, it was his confidence that pushed him to say such words. But for these slimes, this might be the opposite.

"It's good to hear that my beloved disciple has grown up. But you should not become too proud or else, your arrogance will be the cause of your fall."

Just as Vi had pointed his wooden stick at the pond, a voice that was too cold sounded just behind him. It was another voice of a woman, and murderous intent was carried by its tone.

Vi wanted to turn around to face the slime behind him. But too bad, he found himself immobile. Only then did he notice that something extremely thin was entangling his body, preventing him from making any movement.

"Hair Slime..." Vi muttered in a low voice. He ground his teeth and tried to break free from the tiny strands of hair entangling him. Even without looking back, he could already imagine the appearance of the slime he had mentioned.

Just like the Bone Slime, this slime was not ordinary either. Her huge body was full of long white and black furs that if you called her a slime, it would be too weird. Her appearance was just too cute to call her a monster. If not for the fact that this slime was dangerous, Vi might have taken a liking to her as he would love to make her his pet.

That said, despite her strange and harmless appearance, her strength and viciousness couldn't be underestimated.

Not only could she hide her presence extremely well, but she was also proficient in mind attacks. Her illusion was way too terrifying and the same went for her mind control ability. Among all the five slimes, Vi suffered from this slime the longest. After all, she could trap him into her illusion and then torture him for days, of which, in fact, only a few seconds had just passed.

Every time he recalled it, Vi felt a shiver in his spine. Even when he was not in-game, the experience could still affect his state of mind. If not for the medicine that the Game Tower had prepared for such an occurrence, then he might have lost his mind a long time ago.

"Hmph!" Vi harrumphed coldly. His expression turned colder. He gathered the mana in his surroundings and covered his entire body with it.

Shortly after that, something like wind blades shot out of his body. It cut all the strands of hair entangling him as he broke free from them. He didn't waste a single moment as he turned around quickly to face the Hair Slime before he pointed the wooden stick against her.

However, the moment their eyes met, he felt like a terrifying creature was staring at him from a high place. Those eyes were looking at him as if he was just a mere ant. Vi found himself in a trance. His body stopped moving again as it appeared like his consciousness was taken to the other dimension.
