Grandma Im stepped closer to the mirror, her eyes wide with astonishment. "Bo, look at us! We look like we're in our early thirties!" Evan caught sight of Grandma Im, his eyes widened in awe. " Grandma?" he blurted out, completely stunned by her beauty.
"Is that really you, Evan?" Grandma Im asked, her voice tinged with disbelief. "Evan, you look so adorable and small," Grandma Im said, snuggling up to Evan.
“Grandma, you've got flower crowns!" Evan exclaimed, trying to contain his amusement.
Grandma Im couldn't believe as she gently felt the soft petals of the flower crown on her head. It felt so real, almost as if it had grown there naturally. She moved to the nearest mirror to get a better look. The flower crown shimmered with a mesmerizing pink hue. "Hmm, this is lovely," she mused, turning her head from side to side. "But you know what? I think a touch of blue would be even nicer."
To her astonishment, the flower crown seemed to respond to her thoughts, and before she knew it, delicate blue blossoms began to weave themselves into the pink ones. The crown transformed, becoming a delightful blend of pink and blue flowers, creating a stunning and unique piece that perfectly matched her style.
"Wow," Grandma Im breathed in amazement, her eyes sparkling with joy. "It's like it knows exactly what I want."
However, Grandpa Bo seemed unfazed by the mysterious blue screen as he ventured out into the farm. He inspected every nook and cranny with his keen eyes, making sure everything was in order. The barns were sturdy, the crops were thriving, and the animals seemed content. As he continued his exploration, he suddenly paused, as if struck by a revelation. His eyes fixed on a distant, snowy mountain peeking from behind the lush crops
"That mountain wasn't here before, was it?" Grandpa Bo asked, his eyes wide with awe.
"No, it wasn't," I weakly replied. I conveyed my observations to Grandpa Bo; I couldn't help but feel concerned. The landscape before us was vastly different from what we were accustomed to. It was dry and barren, with very few plants and no trees in sight. The only patch of land that seemed to hold any promise was our own farm, still thriving amidst the desolate surroundings.
Grandpa Bo scratched his chin as he listened to my explanation, his eyes scanning the barren landscape. He had a thoughtful expression on his face, moving from left to right as he pondered the situation. It was evident that he too was troubled by the stark contrast of this new world compared to the one they had known. His brows furrowed slightly as he considered the implications of our surroundings. It was clear that he was trying to make sense of the changes and what they might mean for us.
Grandpa Bo glanced at me. "Where did you find these little ones?" he asked.
"They were hiding under the crops," I explained. "They look like a mix of puppies and wolves. Evan and I discovered them this morning."
Grandpa Bo gently touched the pups, and a soft, radiant glow surrounded his hands as he tapped into the mystical energy around him. After a few moments, he gazed at me with a knowing expression. "These little ones are called Fenrirs," he disclosed. "They are magical creatures with a profound connection to nature and the wild."
"Fenrirs?" I repeated, the name unfamiliar to me.
"Yes, they are ancient beings known for their loyalty and protective nature," Grandpa Bo continued. "They are said to be guardians of the forest.”
"There doesn't seem to be any forest nearby. But that snowy mountain behind the crops, could it be their original home?"
Grandpa Bo scratched his chin, deep in thought. "It's a possibility," he said.
The blue screen appeared once more, displaying a profile for Grandpa Bo. "You're a summoner, Grandpa? That's amazing! you were able to retrieve information about the Fenrirs," I scrolled through his skills on the screen, "This is so OP”
"OP?" he asked, looking curious.
"Yeah," I replied, grinning. "It stands for 'overpowered.' Your summoning skills are seriously impressive, Grandpa Bo....

I blurted out to Grandpa Bo, "I'm not sure if I can keep calling you 'Grandpa.' I mean, look at you! You're so handsome, with your shining hair and those muscles. You're more like a cool, super fit uncle. Fufufu"
With Grandpa Bo's assistance, we carefully carried the adorable Fenrir pups to the all-purpose building. The pups squirmed in our arms, their bright eyes full of curiosity. As we entered the building, I noticed how spacious and well-equipped it was, perfect for nurturing and caring for these magical creatures.
"Alright, little ones, make yourselves at home," Grandpa Bo said with a warm smile as we set the pups down in a cozy corner. "You'll be safe and comfortable here."
I watched as the pups sniffed around their new surroundings, their fluffy tails wagging happily. It was heartwarming to see them already adapting to their new home.We decided to head back inside the house. There were important matters that needed our attention, and we couldn't afford to delay any longer.
As Grandpa Bo and Grandma Im came face to face, I looked at Grandma Im, I couldn't help but be taken aback by her beauty. Gulp! I never expected her to be so stunning!
"Honey, is that you?" Grandpa Bo asked, his eyes lighting up with delight.
Grandma Im playfully pouted, crossing her arms. "Of course, it's me! Who else would it be?" she replied, pretending to be annoyed.
Grandpa Bo scratched his head, realizing that he might have put his foot in his mouth. "Oh, you know what I mean," he said with a sheepish grin. "It's just that... well, you look so stunning today, and I can't help but be amazed by you."
A faint blush colored Grandma Im's cheeks, and she tried to hide her smile. "Flattery will get you nowhere," she said.
"You two are too cute," I interjected, joining in on the fun. "It's like watching a romantic comedy unfold right in front of us."
I motioned for everyone to take their seats. As we settled in, I couldn't help but take a moment to appreciate my family members.
"Alright, everyone," I began, taking a deep breath. "We find ourselves in a different land, far from what we know. The landscape is barren and devoid of life, except for our own farm." I recounted the entire adventure from the beginning, sharing all the details of last night's quest with Grandpa Bo and Grandma Im, I held nothing back.
"Listen up, everyone," I said, leaning forward with enthusiasm. "If we want to check out our profile, just think about it in your head, and a blue screen will appear. We'll be able to see all our stats and roles right there."
Evan stepped up to assist us in explaining the stats. "Alright," Evan began, "HP stands for 'Hit Points,' which represents your health. It's like the amount of energy you have to keep going. When you take damage from monsters or other challenges, your HP will decrease. Make sure to keep an eye on it and take care of yourself in battles."
"And what's MP?" I asked, curious to learn more.
"MP stands for 'Mana Points,'" Evan continued. "It's a magical energy that you'll need to use special skills or cast spells.
I admitted with a chuckle, "I'm not very familiar with this term. The last game I played was an old-school video game called Contra.”
Each of us saw our own personalized display. Grandma Im couldn't help but chuckle when she saw hers. "Well, this is quite a sight!" she exclaimed, a mischievous glint in her eyes.
"Flora Vinus!" Grandma Im exclaimed with a hint of mischief in her eyes. Instantly, a magical vine named Flora Vinus emerged from the wall of the house.
The three of us stood there, jaws dropping in awe as the magical vine, Flora Vinus, intertwined and danced with grace.
"Wait, wait, no superpowers in the house, please," I said with a sigh.
Grandpa Bo's eyes widened with astonishment as he looked at the holographic screen. "So, this superpower is our skilss?"
I nodded, smiling. "Yes, Grandpa. It seems like we each have these unique skills”. "Each of us has been bestowed with a role. My role is the King ha ha ha, Evan is the Wizard, You are the Summoner, and Grandma Im is the Druid."
Their eyes widened with amazement as they took in the information. "So, this Head-up Display err HUD has assigned us specific roles?" Grandpa Bo said.
"That's right," I confirmed. "And with these roles, we're entrusted to build Magnolia Kingdom. "
"I suggested the name 'Magnolia,' and Evan and I both agreed on it," I explained, looking at them.
Grandma Im nodded, her eyes sparkling with joy. "I've always admired the elegance of magnolias. It's a perfect choice for kingdom name." Grandpa Bo chimed in, "No objections from me either.”
Evan, who scrolling through the holographic screen, suddenly piped up. "Hey, sis, it seems the first quest has rewarded us with some monster meat and other materials," he said excitedly. "You should check under the item."
Curious, I followed Evan's suggestion and found a section on the screen labeled "Item." As I tapped on it, a list of rewards from the first quest appeared, including the monster meat and various materials that we had collected during our battle.
"Wow, you're right!" I exclaimed. Grandma Im leaned forward; her curiosity piqued. "What kind of quests do we have to complete?"
"Well," I continued, "The quests will vary, and we'll encounter challenges along the way. "
As we reached a natural lull in our conversation, Neko suddenly appeared at the table. "Breakfast is served, Your Majesty," she announced, a playful glint in her eyes. Everyone was taken aback by her sudden appearance.
Grandpa Bo, fell back in his chair, his eyes wide with surprise. "Ha ha ha! I never thought I'd see the day when our little companion could talk." In contrast, Grandma Im sat composed and unruffled, as though she had anticipated Neko's sudden appearance at the table.
"Hey, Neko-chan, no need to address me with royalty," I replied, wanting to keep things casual. "You can just call me Amy "
Grandpa's face held an expression of disbelief, while Grandma questioned, "Neko, you can cook? But how? You're just a small cat." Before we could process her words, Neko popped up right beside me, transforming into a human-sized version of herself, donning an apron.
Evan's stomach grumbled loudly, "Uhhh...I want to taste your amazing food Neko!"
As things started to settle down, I walked alongside Evan and suggested, " How about using your drone to check out the surrounding area?"
Evan's eyes lit up at the idea. "That sounds like a plan," he replied. "I'll fly the drone and get a bird's-eye view of the whole area."
I leaned in. "I was thinking of checking out Grandpa Bo and Grandma Im's skills. It might help us figure out how to best use their skilss in this new world." And I told Evan about the two pups we found this morning and how Grandpa Bo used his summoner skills to check their information.
"Whoa, a Fenrir?" his eyes widening in surprise.
