He walked over to Shadow and nudged him awake. The black wolf stirred and looked up at him.

"Your turn..." Howl mentioned.

Shadow nodded his head, and took over the watch. "Has it been a couple of hours yet?" He whispered.

Howl shook his head. "It hasn't even been one."

Shadow mumbled to himself irritably, then looked at Howl. "Doing alright?"

Howl sighed quietly. "I just....need a break..."

Shadow nodded in acceptance. "I'll take over...get some sleep."

Howl bowed his head. "Thanks, Shadow."

The black wolf turned his head to face Hunter.

Howl found himself in a comfortable position next to the fire and surprisingly, found himself easily falling into sleep.
