As Marw walked closer towards the manager, he sensed someone lurking behind him. He ignored it since he thought it will do him no harm, though he was right later on. Marw saw the manager who gave a cheerful smile, but what is going on the manager’s mind was: “This kid must be a foreigner, he can be easily tricked since he is a kid. He he he...” Marw can’t read other people’s minds unlike most people who use high-level magic, so he made his way through and approached the manager with a cheerful smile too.
“I would like to exchange money, please.”
“Ok, what type of currency do you have?”
“Money from the village of Meddal.”
The manager thought with an inner mischievous smile, “the village of Meddal, huh, I can make tons of money from those coins. It’s worth way more than our currency. I’ll just give him the small amount, and keep the rest for myself.”
“One moment please.” The manager said, trying not to laugh.

She went in and then took out a small amount of money.
“Here you go, 1 gold coin, 5 silver coin, and 5 copper coins.”
Then she thought in her mind again, “Ha! This crap is only worth 1.55 gold, equal to that of one coin of your village’s currency. You brought like 50 of them.”
“This coin is made out of real gold.” The manager said, trying to deceive Marw and gain trust. Actually the coin is made out of fool’s gold, called pyrite. It had the texture of gold, but the chemical structure is different, while the currency from Marw’s village is made out of real gold, even though it looks rusty. Marw actually believed her, and then said thank you, and headed out. While he was just about to step out of the door, the man lurking behind him, wearing a black cloak covering his face shouted, “Wait!”
