---POV: ?!¡¿Unknown¿¡!?---
Walking down the corridors made of fine wood, I think about all the things I could research should I gain that specimen into my hands. I had to wait for a long time, but this stupid dragon always interfered, but not this time.
Approaching the extravagant door, the two guards in front of it open it up. As I walk through it, I hear one of the guards snicker... let's see if you can keep laughing after this...
“pfff, hihih... huach, puah,puah.. peng!” (???)
The soldiers who kept laughing until now suddenly begins coughing and collapses on the ground. Well, that is no surprise thinking about the nether-poison I just inflicted him with. Anyway, entering the room, there stood a large table with five people being seated at it. All of them seem to be foxes with 5 tails and with pure or rust-red fur. One seems to even have special coloration on each tail, maybe I should check that out once...
“Cough, Uhm, Doctor Hunenberg, we...” (A fox)
“It's Doctor Hunnenberg your majesty.” (Me)
Answering him in a plain voice like always, I await his next words. After all, we had a deal in exchange for the Items I organized.
“We are deeply sorry, but we couldn't get our hands on him. That dragon keeps guarding him from the shadows and the indirect approach failed. We are truly sorry.” (Fox-Guy)
Hearing his answer, I am suddenly enraged. I gave them one job, but they failed. That being is the only specimen who could help me become truly immortal, and now they say they can't get their hands on him?!? I even gave them that Item, allowing them to have power equal to dragons, and even control their pawns... HOW!?!
I organized everything, but that stupid dragon, always, he always has to interfere! Already back then when I nearly got my hands on her, and now even her successor! How long do you try to keep me from succeeding!!! These fools!!!
“You did promise to turn us into nine tails after we catch him, but I don't see how this should work. Also, I see no point in actually upgrading us, this is just our own greed of becoming stronger without risk, what stupidity. I don't want to have anything to do with this anymore, I am leaving...” (Other Fox-Guy)
So he wants to leave and shatter everything I worked for? Never!
“You stay here!” (Me)
Before he can react, I deploy my domain and begin manipulating the dark element, trying to destroy him. Anyway, this place has outlived it's usefulness, better keep going before He shows up. I will have another chance to get my hands on this kid on another day! And sadly, even that black chaos brat failed, why did this kid have to meet with him! Was that all your planning, old man?!? Despicable!!!
Just as I want to turn towards the other Fox-Elders in order to silence them, a white glowing flame is lit from within the shadow-cocoon containing the fox who tried to leave. The flame suddenly bursts and consumes all my shadows, how is this possible? No, this is HIS flame isn't it? It is all his fault! Grr, this Idiot, destroying my plans again. He is even more annoying than that Dragon!
Sending an evil stare towards the remaining elders, I retract back my domain and escape, there Is no meaning staying here. Just as I want to teleport away using a magic-circle, the same flame lights up again and fires in my direction.
I just barely manage to dodge it and conjecture a barrier made from shadow-magic in order to block the rest.
…
Impossible, his flame became stronger?!? Just as I am overtaken by worry, the teleportation array lights up and the scenery changes to my small laboratory with the iron walls. So I did manage to escape huh? Well, first... Using my magic, I destroy the teleportation magic tool in order to keep Him from following me, but still, I failed miserably this time didn't I. How hateful! Well ,whatever, burying my brooding anger inside my heart, I go towards my table to write a report.

---POV-Change: 3rd Person---
As a scream resounds from the shocked Fox-Elders, suddenly the door crashes open and a middle-aged looking man stands there, shooting a weird white flame after the fleeing figure of the old Dr. Hunnenberg. Sadly, in the last moment, just as the defenses were broken, the teleportation circle shone and he disappeared.
Running towards the formation, the middle-aged man intervenes, but the receiving end is already destroyed, making it impossible to track him down. Clicking his tongue, the middle-aged man stands up and looks into the direction of the Fox-Elder who tried to leave and used the flame afterwards to escape.
“Anchor, you did well, but you will not be able to escape punishment for working with this guy.” (Middle-aged guy)
The Fox-Elder going by the name of Anchor sighs to himself before he speaks in a soft and accepting voice...
This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.
“I know. I shouldn't have helped in this to begin with, but the offer was too tempting, so I needed a while before I could return to my senses. It was a mistake to believe him in the first place, so go ahead.” (Anchor)
Stopping there, Anchor holds his hands in front and shows the tool hidden within his sleeve. The tool is a small box with different markings and carvings on top, making it look mysterious.
As the Middle-aged man picks up the tool, he looks towards the door where two people with horns and tails emerge. One is a female with white and blue scales, while the other has black hair and scales, making him look like the night itself.
“So, did it work old man? I had real problems trying to keep my hatred inside, but only because you told me to. But in the end, at least I am now justified to get rid of them!” (Aaron)
Yes, the ones who just entered were no one less then Scyrra, the guardian of the Dragon-Mountains, and Aaron Geyser, the other Ancient Dragon currently guarding the heir of Lumi's bloodline.
The moment the other Fox-Elders heard Aaron talk, all of them except Anchor kneel down, sweat pouring from their foreheads.
“Yes, not even I expected them to actually work together with this maniac, but I needed proof. So, sorry for having you draw back.” (Middle-aged man)
The Middle-aged man lightly bows his head towards Aaron before Scyrra intervenes...
“No need. I believe we have what we came for. Sadly, he managed to escape, but for him to actually create such a weird tool, its already on the level of creepy, even for me.” (Scyrra)
“Yes, but for those elders to actually use said tool on the kids... just incredible. If I didn't know better, I would already kill them myself, but at least Anchor warned us beforehand... otherwise...” (Middle-aged man)
Suddenly coming up with the 'what if?' question ,all three of them just shake their heads. The boy, Rune, was previously equipped with a new kind of slave-band that made one believe that the orders of the controller were actually ones own thoughts. A nasty tool, but luckily, the man before them was able to remove it. Especially so after Aaron's kid managed to damage the core of the tool, even if by accident.
“He is one of the last three High-Humans, living longer than even Ancient dragons, yet he fears death... I am ashamed for being of his kind. Well, at least I am able to help keeping him under control.” (Middle-aged man(High-Human))
“You are correct Illois, but you haven't done anything bad... he did. But now, let's take care of what is in front of us! I don't want little Arin to learn of this, I want him to grow up normally, even if that is mostly already impossible.” (Aaron)
Yes, the name of the second of the three remaining High-Humans: Illois. He is a scientist who lives and works within the dragon mountains, helping the dragons and fox-kin while planning for clashes with the outsider, the one who betrayed their own race.
Feeling sad inside, Illois destroys the magic circle before he then leaves the room. Anchor and and Scyrra follow him immediately, while Aaron first binds the other fox-elders with magic and carries them with him.
All three know who they just met today, and they knew about the dangers this man posed to them. But they also knew that they still had more than enough power to deal with him.
After several minutes, all of them arrived in a grand hall. The Hall was the same one in which they greeted Arin in when he first arrived. While Illois and Scyrra took their seats, Aaron stayed beside the Fox-Elders to watch over them.
Yes, this was also a judgment hall, but the reason why they came here was apparent, the screams wouldn't be heard from the outside. They might not look it, but all three of them, dragons and High-Human, were seething with rage. They released a pressure which made the Fox-Elders sweat buckets, one even pissed himself.
But before they said or did anything, the door opens and a young boy and a girl enter. Both of them also have red fur while one has seven and the other five tails. Yes, they are Rune and Feris, both walking into the hall hand in hand. When they arrived next to Scyrra, both their eyes stopped on the elders kneeling on the floor in front of them. No surprise as they were their parents, but in that moment, even while they were pleading, the eyes of the two stayed cold.
Yes, they were betrayed by their own parents, only Uncle Anchor was against it from the start and tried to warn them, but failed.
Seeing the expression on the two, Scyrra speaks in a slow yet clear voice...
“So, what is your judgment? As you two are victims, we can't ignore your opinion.” (Scyrra)
He voice was clear, yet contained a coldness towards the elders in front of them. It was obvious how much hatred she had for them.
Hearing her voice, a short bit of emotions flashes through their eyes, but is killed off the moment they remembered what was done to them. In front of them were the whimpering faces of their parents, looking at them with pleading eyes. Yet the words they let out sent a chill down their spine...
“Let them think about what they have done in the afterlife, maybe death will teach them!” (Rune)
Speaking those words, small tears started to gather in his eyes and he clenched Feris hand. In the end he was still just a young teen and those in front of him were his parents.
Still, even if he was emotionally moved, his heart stayed cold. So when Scyrra saw that, she smiled to herself in satisfaction. Afterwards she once more looked at the elders, deeply into their eyes.
“With my authority as the guardian, I hereby sentence all of you Elders to death. As for you Anchor, for trying to interfering and bringing a stop to all this, you will be spared. Though your rights as an elder and your ability to freely move about are taken away! I have spoken, get out of my sight!” (Scyrra)
Declaring so with a cold voice, Scyrra stands up and nods towards Aaron. The elders, noticing that their doom is near, try to plead, but because Aaron manipulated the air around them, not a single sound escaped.
Scyrra then picks up a black tool, known as a restrictive collar. Like a slave collar it makes the user obey certain commands, but unlike them, this one has commands entered beforehand and can't be changed later. Anchor obediently wore it and made his way, together with Rune and Feris, towards their home. While walking, they are guarded and escorted by multiple dragon-soldiers. All of them keeping a lookout to the surroundings as well as Anchor who is with the kids.
Arriving in front of a large mansion, Anchor keeled down in front of the two and looked directly into their eyes. He knows hat he will probably barely see them anymore as he is basically banished from the clan. Crying tears as he says goodbye, Rune and Feris hug Anchor while saying their good-byes.
After several minutes, a young woman came from the mansion and led Rune and Feris inside, leaving Anchor behind.
Anchor understood, and under the surveillance of a Dragon-Guard he makes his way towards his new home / prison. Arriving there he let's out a sigh...
“At least they are safe now. I only hope that greed won't be the end of theirs like it had been mine and the other elders...” (Anchor)
Leaving those words behind, Anchor prepared himself and went to bed...
Back in the great hall only Aaron, Scyrra, Illois, two guards and the terrified former elders remain.
Anchor and the kids already left with their escort, so the hall is clad in an eerie atmosphere. Both Aaron and Scyrra emit a strong pressure as well as killing intent while Illois only looked at them with eyes that were colder than a glacier. The elders are aware that what they had done was wrong, but they did it and there was no going back.
As they looked up at the Angry black dragon above them, a sudden cold chill ran down their backs, causing them to sweat even more. They were aware that they wouldn't be permitted to just die... because they angered an overprotective Uncle!
First, a small flame started to gather before their eyes, becoming bigger with every passing second. And the moment it reached a certain size, it began devouring them like a hungry beast, but it wouldn't kill them.
They tried screaming in pain, but it was for naught. Not a singe sound escaped their scorched throats and they could only painfully wince while wailing with their body... but that was only the beginning.
…
When the morning came and it was about time for breakfast, the door to the chamber finally opened. Five people walked out: Aaron, Scyrra, Illois and the two guards who were stationed inside. All of them had a rather refreshed look on their face, even the guards, but that didn't bother those outside. The only one who was bothered and complaining was the man responsible for cleaning the hall afterwards, as there were countless scorch-marks and frozen places all over the hall while blood was sticking to several locations, dried and burnt by fire.
Yes, even the elders from the dragon-side didn't dare imagine what occurred in there at night, and they would never know. But the rumors of the execution judgment never ceased in the inner circles.
It was on that day and the following that a new leading group for the Fox-Clan had to be chosen, but chaos was averted thanks to the distinct leadership of the Mountains Guardian, Scyrra.
But, is this truly the end of it, or had the true Chaos only just begun?
