The One Moon Chapter 17

“Tch, Moonhan.” Eric said with a robotic voice.

“I don’t want to help you but, what you want is for all of us to treat you like a normal friend and human, right?”

“You don't want us to treat you like a damn baby that needs protection right?”

Some members surprised at how straightforward Eric was.

Moonhan just nodded his head.

“Well, then that’s all we have to do. Get help when you need it and act normally like always. That’s normal, there no need to freakin overreact you guys. It’s like you guys are characters from a cringy webtoon.”

Junghwan chucked at the thought as Eric was acting like a tsundre.

“That’s all their freakin’ is, you got it!”

“Ah, yes hyung.”

“Now, you and Siwoo finish packing up. You two are roommates, for now, Ren move in with me.”

“Mm, ok.”

Junghwan proud of Eric patted his head. Eric slapped the hand away and Junghwan chuckled.

Everyone went to their dorm rooms while Siwoo and Moonhan finished packing up.

Moonhan didn’t have much stuff to pack. His backpack was already packed from his last move. He just took a few items out and stuck in all his red bean jelly and wasabi flavored pea snacks he tried during dinner. And he was done. He closed the lights, said goodnight to Siwoo, and went to bed. He couldn’t fall asleep as usual. He waited till he thought Siwoo was fully asleep and walked out. He grabbed a choco milk, a mask, and a cap, and went to take a walk.

Thinking about the earlier situation, he was still nervous the members were upset at him but…

“I guess I have more to look forward to now.” He said aloud while looking at the city on the quiet bridge he found while taking a walk.

“I hope I can do well, I’ll try my best to not mess up. I’m going to stay with you guys, I hope you don’t leave me…” He yawned. He walked back to the dorms and went to bed.

Loud music played and woke everyone up. Some went back to sleep, some woke up. Moonhan was one who woke up. He used the shower first and he forgot to lock the door. A cling was heard to the door knob and a face popped in.

“Hey, Moonhan, could you hand me the…” Woong turned towards Moonhan and saw bruises and different marks on his body.

“aH…” Moonhan quickly covered his body with the towel.

“Um, sorry to intrude, could you hand me the phone on the cover of the toilet.” Woong didn’t make a big deal of it and continued to ask his request. He remembered it was best to treat Han the same and not overreact.

“Oh, yes, here you go” and passed the phone to him.

Woong closed the door and blinked a few more times taking in what he saw.

“I guess he went through abuse too.” Woong mumbled.

Eric heard this and sighed at what Woong said.

“Tch”, then he went to the restroom door and opened it for himself.”

He was curious about why Woong came to the conclusion.

By the time Eric opened the door, Han already wore his pants but was brushing his teeth shirtless. Eric too saw the wounds on Moonhan. Eric just stared and was about ask something to him when Woong interrupted.

“What the heck you are doing, Eric? Give the dude some space.”

“Hey, he can’t hog the restroom himself you know. We got to share it.” Eric annoyed at Woong for interrupting him and talked back.

Moonhan who heard this swiftly brought his clothes out and bit onto his toothbrush and rushed out into his room.

“Yes, yes, sorry!” He ran into his dorm room and locked the door.

“I hope no one else saw anything”, he said.

“This situation needed to be resolved soon too, huh.” He said. He knew he couldn’t keep hiding his wounds forever living in the same dorm as them.

To his surprise, a boy was sipping on banana milk while holding another chocolate one in the other was in the room.

“Ren? What are you doing here?” Quickly putting on his shirt.

“Hmm. I came to give you milk and I forgot some of my stuff in here.” Said Ren.

Passing the milk to Han, he asked, “Does those wounds still hurt?”

“They don’t hurt very much now”, he said.

“That’s good. If it starts hurting, notice me about it. That’s an order from your hyung you got it!”

“Yes hyung.” He said without much thought.

Moonhan then got his bag and left the room with Ren. The 2 members noticing this knew their was now another person who knew of Han’s wounds.

The 2 decided to talk with Ren later about it.

Everyone packed some snacks with them to eat because they had so much at their dorm, they needed to decrease the amount. All grabbed 1 or 2 bottles of banana milk and Moonhan grabbed like 5 and the rest of the Pororo drinks.

“You like the Pororo drinks?” Said Junghwan”

“Yeah, they look cute and are quite sweet.”

“And proceeded to finish the chocolate milk that Ren gave him before opening a new one”

Seeing this, Junghwan thought he did a good job introducing him to banana milk and new flavors of drinks he haven’t tried yet.

It was time to leave. For the ride, Mr. Seo hired managers and the members all rode this one big van to the show dorms. During the ride, the manager introduced himself. His name was Seo Gaeul. Apparently, he was Mr. Seo’s younger brother. The manager also memorized everyone’s name already. Mr. Seo gave him pictures and asked him to memorize beforehand so he wouldn’t be an embarrassment with inexperienced managers on camera.

The manager informed the members what was going to happen than began driving.

As soon as they arrived and got out of the car, recording would start. The members were nervous for their first time on camera.
