Tine has a pack she wears on her back and will not take off. As readers, we do not know what is in the pack yet. Only Tine knows. This draws a bit of curiosity as she will not share anything from her pack or open it, but it does seem to be full. Whatever is in the pack relates to a part of Tine's past, which she would like to remain hidden. Hafoc suspects the contents are valuable and wants to discover what is inside and potentially steal it.
