I finally was able to create an illustration of Tine for a new book cover...this illustration has some collage elements, but I did spend a lot of time drawing Tine. I wanted to get the face just right!

Yes, there is a lot of blank space here, which is intended for the title, etc. If you've followed the story this far, I thought you might enjoy seeing the image without the words. This is a bit of a metaphorical illustration, FYI. For this version, I wanted to include an abstract, haunting version of Autumnus (as the world at large sees him). I will work on a more accurate version that shows his true, winsome self next. Tine also is lacking her backpack here; this is pretty much because it didn't look right for this illustration. (Especially for an online book cover. With the text, there already is a lot to interpret when it's displayed so small!) Plus, she's using 2 quarterstaffs a bit like nunchucks here, but hey...I DID say it's slightly silly fantasy fiction, right??

As always, thank you for sticking with me for this mad tale. Knowing you are reading this keeps me writing...I don't like to let people down. So thanks. :)
