I wake up in a cold sweat too knocking on the door and Sulfur saying “Wake up! Time to go.” I walk out to see everyone else awake and Fireball and Canyon smiling at each other sheepishly. It clicks in my mind then but I’ll have to talk to Fireball about it later.
“So what are we doing?” I ask.
“We were going to a council meeting but that’s not for a while so I figured I’d give you a tour of the main island.” Sulfur says.
We fly around the island for a while, well Sulfur tells us about places on the island. There’s things every dragon would expect there to be like a library, a blacksmith, barracks, houses, and other stuff too like kitchens. There’s also these weird things called gem chambers. How Sulfur explained them to me was that they were caves full of different kinds of gemstones, crystals, and rocks and eggs hatched in them. The eggs would roll around when they were ready to hatch and a combination of whatever broke the shell and whatever the dragonet touched first would give them their powers.
“This isn’t the only place here on these islands, they’re dotted with towns.” Sulfur tells us as we fly.
“Oh, there’s one more stop we have to make before we go to the meeting hall for the council meeting.” Sulfur says before veering right towards the ocean. We fly for a bit and come up to an island that’s a bit far off from the rest but not far away enough that you can’t see the other islands.
“This is our prison. There’s a dragon in here I want to see if any of you recognize.” Sulfur says before pushing aside a giant boulder to reveal an entrance that leads down. We follow him down the stairs there not lit very well so it’s hard to tell where we’re going but as we hit ground Sulfur says: “Careful up ahead this place ain’t the safest.”
We walk ahead for a minute then round a bend and see light peeking out from behind a closed door. Sulfur opens the door to expose a row of barred cells. We walk along them and each cell houses two dragons, two beds, and a hole in the floor. We keep walking till we reach another door but this one’s different. It’s made of iron.
“What’s behind this door?” I ask.
“This is where we keep the most insane and dangerous prisoners.” Sulfur replies.
We walk till we reach the end, where Sulfur stops and asks us “These two are trouble makers, this is the… fifth or sixth time you’ve been here?”
“Sixth, it’s quite cozy.” says one of them sarcastically.

This room looks different. There's four beds here instead of two like there normally is.
“These two have killed dragons before and stolen.” Sulfur says.
“Don’t forget that arson charge we got!” shouts one of them.
“How did I forget that?” Sulfur asks before shuddering. “Anyways I think your friend here needs some time to catch up.” Sulfur says pointing at Gull.
“What did he do to deserve this?” I ask.
“He didn’t try to steal from me alone; he had help from these two. Probably the only dragons from Pyrrhia that knew this place existed.” Sulfur says. “So can you go in willingly?”
“No, that’s not happening.” Gull replies.
I turn to him and talk to him in whispers. “Just do it, I'll come get you out.” I whisper.
“What if you don’t?” he whispers back.
“Just use your magic to escape.” I whisper.
“Oh, my magic right. How stupid of me not to think of that.” Gull whispers back. “Fine, I’ll go willingly.” Gull says.
“Splendid.” says Sulfur before beckoning Gull who walks into the cell, Sulfur shuts the cell door and locks it. I look back as we walk away at Gull and his cell mates, a skywing and a battered mudwing.
“How long is this meeting going to last?” I ask.
“Who knows? Could be twenty minutes, could be 8 hours. I know we're going to have to talk about the battle and how it endangered my tribe, if we should get involved, your guy’s arrival, but first we’re gonna have to talk about my return.” Sulfur replies.
“Wonderful” I say sarcastically.
We’re coming up on a building that looks like it’s rising right out of the mountain. It’s massive, it looks like it could fit hundreds of dragons comfortably and still have space left over.
“Damn, what a sight. I say awed.
“I know, isn't it beautiful?” Sulfur replies.
“It sure is. How long did it take you to build this?” I ask.
“Construction started about, oh what was it, 200ish years ago or so?” Sulfur tells me.
“200 years ago! That’s a lot of work for this, but it’s definitely worth it!” I say astonished.
“It sure is worth it, and the best part is it’s not even done yet!” Sulfur says excited pointing to the top of it.
I look up and see that there’s dragons flying around up there carrying what looks like… rocks? “What’s it built of?” I ask.
“Obsidian. We take it from other islands, bring it here and then we carve it to our specifications.” Sulfur replies.
“Huh, interesting.” I say before we land on a platform and Sulfur asks me,
“Ready to be presented to the tribal leaders?”
“Not even remotely close.” I say.
“Everyone else?” Sulfur asks.
There’s a mix of yes’s and no’s. “Oh well, guess the best time is now.” Sulfur says swinging open a giant set of wooden doors twice as large as him. We enter and staring at us are the faces of four dragons.
