WE BEGIN

In a small town on the out skirts of the largest human kingdom of 'THE GREAT SERIPHDOM(name is pending input would be nice)' or more commonly known as the hellhole. To the north is the plains a great expanse of nothing but farms and the most of the kingdoms lands. towards the south is seas and lots of islands where there is said to be many creatures of legend oh and a port town takes about a days ride by horse. West is a great forest with huge wolves and other things that want to eat you, supposedly there's 'Elves' I don't believe it tho. East is well mountains and a few mines not to sure about what it is all about.

I know this it's because I'm a street rat not the even the best one. There's bigger and stronger, older and faster, they even beat me and steal from me. Well I'm used to to it really beat down all my life well what I remember of it. Never learned how to read nor write, only been taught two things by the boss thug he calls himself 'Mr. Big' he is an average height and a bit fat. He taught me to always listen to him and how to steal for him. Yes I'm just a pickpocket street rat that has to steal to survive.

Only one person has ever been nice to me and he is a street rat like me known him about a year now he's not one of 'Mr. Big's' tho. I found him in an ally one day and figured if I show him the ropes and be his boss I could get by easier and we do. Care about him with his blond hair blue eyes dirty clothes but he gets food and enough for us both, never know how he does it tho. He tells me that the nice ladies at the market just give it to him but I think he's not that bright and doesn't know what stealing really is. It's a shame that I have to steal one money purse a day for 'Mr. Big' and can't keep anything I get because his goons always search me. If I don't give it all over to him I get beat and sometimes I get beat for no reason but they wanted to.

They don't know about Blondie which couldn't be better for us because they would just make us steal more and probably beat him more. Blondie is what I call him sad that we don't have names well not real ones anyway. Oh before I forget we have these weird blue floatie signs with numbers and letters if we say 'Status' not sure what it all means but I'm special well we think I am because I can put any item I want into one and take it back out of it if I say 'Items' and he can't. Right now I have a dagger in it because I didn't want to give 'Mr. Big' a dagger and to keep us a little safer. We cant use it very well right now but we know it can stab and cut even if it has some brown flaky stuff on it.

I'm on my way to where Blondie is and I don't know why I have a bad feeling but I think it's because when I gave 'Mr. Big' his money today there was only one goon. I know how to count up to ten because it's how many fingers I have and when he has one less goon bad things tend to happen mostly to me. So I hurry faster to Blondie through small alleyways that only kids can fit through to make sure I'm not being followed and run as fast as I can because I fear what might go wrong. As I round the corner I see the missing goon hit Blondie making him drop all the food he got today, the goon is just standing there with a shiny dagger out. I freeze while the goon moves towards Blondie.

"Heh stupid kid ya should'a just gave me tha food. Now yas gone and made me mad gonna gut ya like a pig an watch ya bleed out heh." [goon]

As I hear what the goon says, I say "Items" and see my one item in the blue sign appear and take out the dagger and go to stab the goon in the back. I see his dagger enter into Blondie as mine enters into the goons back, the goon roars in pain as I lose my grip on the dagger while I look towards Blondie the dagger in him is being pulled out. I see the tears in Blondie's eyes as blood pools around him while I get a kick to the stomach and lose my breath the goon snarls "Yar gonna pay fer that rat." I'm trying to regain my breath when the goon kicks me again then bends down to grab my hair. I kick at him while looking at Blondie trying not to cry but failing to hold my tears back feeling his sharp dagger pushing against my left arm, it cuts my skin and I scream in pain then the goon drops me and falls over. I can't figure out why he dropped me I rush over to Blondie to try and stop his blood from coming out but can't seem to make it stop when I hear Blondie say "Don't cry it doesn't hurt any more just sleepy....... I got more food for us and tomorrow we can go see the nice lady at the....................................................." Blondie's eyes lose there light and his body goes limp while I'm holding and crying over the lose of the only nice person I have ever known.

After awhile I stop crying because if I don't than I will die. Turning around I see the goon lying there breathing but i don't know why he's just laying there like that but I walk over and take his knife and stab his neck with it than see the light in his his show hatred then dim just like Blondie"s eyes did. Hearing a ding a blue sign pops up.

Since I can't read i just wave it away than I say "Items" and I see another blue sign but it's different than before it has more smaller signs but I try putting in the goons dagger and it only takes up one of the smaller signs in the big sign now I'm curious if i can fill up the rest. Deciding to try withe more things and they take up different signs so I take the goons money and my old dagger with the food and a small copper ring off the goon and run away from here.

Blondie's POV

It's been a tough life but things have gotten better after i met 'Rat' its what he says everyone calls him but he's nice even if he steals. He thinks I'm stupid and steals like he does but I'm not I talk with Lisa the nice lady at the market she gives me food for both of us and has been teaching me how to read the 'Status Screen' as she calls the blue signs i know health and name mine says Roy and I have some health. Right now I'm waiting for 'Rat' with the food from Lisa and she wants me and 'Rat' to come visit her tomorrow but i don't think 'Rat' will want to. Hearing some noise I see a big man with a dagger out he says to give him the food but I can't move I'm to scared then he hits me and says "Heh stupid kid ya should'a just gave me tha food. Now yas gone and made me mad gonna gut ya like a pig an watch ya bleed out heh." He thrusts his dagger at me and it hurts so much I cry. Hearing the goon roar in pain I open my eyes and see 'Rat' get hit and the goon then picks him up and i see a dagger in his back. He moves the dagger towards 'Rat's' arm and then freezes up while he falls over.

'Rat' runs over towards me while crying and then tries to stop my blood but I keep feeling sleepy and not in pain probably going to sleep for a long time but I say to 'Rat' "Don't cry it doesn't hurt any more just sleepy....... I got more food for us and tomorrow we can go see the nice lady at the....................................................."
