The wailing of the alarm startled Ekko up from his deep sleep. He rubbed his eyes tiredly and yawned. He reached out for his phone beside the bed but he was just slightly out of reach. With a slight grunt, he quickly grab his phone and swipe 'cancel'.
"8.50 in the morning. Too early." complained Ekko. Putting the phone down under his pillow, he began to close his eyes, to get more sleep. 'I knew I was going to regret staying up until 3 last night' He cursed under his breath.
Still feeling the effect of staying up.
Ekko once again, woke up with a start. "What time is it now?"
Grabbing his phone once again, for the second time today. "12 o'clock. I should probably start going down now."
Ekko Sunlight got out of bed, his black hair, still messy from his peaceful slumber. He patted his hair in attempt to fix it, but it was still in a terrible mess.
He shrugged and came up with a much quicker solution to his current problem. Grabbing a grey hat as well as a grey jacket made out of wool. He began to make his way downstairs.
The red patterned stairs was the first to greet his sight out of his very tidy room. He was about to take his first step down but remembered that he slightly nudged his wooden dragon out of position. 'Damn it! Now I have to go fix that or else it's going to stir me crazy worrying about it.'

Ekko Sunlight has a reputation at being a control freak. Everything in his room, has its own place. For example the wooden dragon, has to be sitting at the table beside his bed. But it has to be sitting straight in front of his night light. If its position was slightly changed, even but just a smidgen of an inch. Ekko Sunlight would notice and he also would go stir crazy.
Every time his younger brother would hear of this ridiculous matter, he would shake his head and roll his eyes and laugh loudly.
Ekko sunlight barged into his room again, shoulder first. Scrutinizing the wooden dragon. 'Hmm I thought it was out of place. Must have been my imagination.'
Finally downstairs.
Ekko sunlight headed straight to the kitchen, without directing himself to go there. As if his body is naturally drawn to where food was naturally found; the kitchen.
While looking at the now half empty fridge, mostly devoid of food, probably the work of his brother Ekko accused. His stomach growled loudly. Calling out to be fed like a child.
"Alright, alright settle down. I'm going to feed you soon." muttered Ekko.
Giving to finding a good breakfast/lunch. He settled to fried egg and toast.
"You're going park today?" ask his brother; Vincent. Sitting in front of a desktop watching what seem to be anime.
"What you watching." asked Ekko, while taking a bite of his food.
"Soul Eater." replied Vincent, not paying much attention to the conversation.
"Fav is totally Death the Kid." replied Ekko.
Vincent laughed in agreement.
"Dude! Dude!" called out Ekko.
Vincent took his headphones and turned around to look at his big brother.
"Guess what time I slept last night!" said Ekko smugly.
"3 in the morning."
"This guy." Vincent replied, shaking his head.
They both laughed then lapse into silent.
