Jay puts both the potions and his dagger on the metal cube and looks around aimlessly
"So, now what? Heh thinking about it I've asked myself this question so many times already in just a few days"
Just as he was finishing the sentence a rumble could be heard from Jay's stomach
"Well. guess I'll eat something for now. Or should I try one of those sustenance potions?" Jay says as he reaches for one of the sustenance potions he just put down, It has a bright, almost neon yellow color and has the viscosity of honey.
"Well here goes nothing," Jays says as he opens the lid and drinks the potion
The second the liquid touches his tongue, Jay almost throws up.
"damn it this is sweet," he says forcing himself to drink the potion.
After Jay had finished drinking the potion his hunger vanished like snow before the blazing sun
Jay walks back to Li Zou's or rather, his bedroom and grabs some paper, a quill, and a jay of ink from the closet and sits down at the desk.
"Well let's get my priorities straight, 1. Don't die and to do that I need both money and seeing that some people can destroy entire mountains in a single hit, I'll also need power. Concerning money, I still have around 100 gold coins, which is quite the fortune for a normal man, but to a cultivator that is a week's work, So I'll have to see if I could sell some of those potions in an alchemist guild, because if my memory serves me right restoration medicine goes for around 10 gold coins apiece and seeing that my potions aren't convenient pills I probably won't gain the full amount for them, well unless I could transform them in pills someway" Jay stops writing for a moment to think
"then power. Well for that I can see three options firstly the RPG system, I bet that if I get some more achievements I will be able to unlock some ways to become more powerful of course that would require leveling up which I can, as of now only do in the dungeon secondly I could use [The creator] to create some laws that benefit me which seems like a very risk-free way to gain strength, simply costing time but I'm unaware of the limitations of that so, well, we'll see and lastly simply go achievement hunting, seeing that that could unlock entire power systems, sadly though I don't know what kind of achievements there are, Well seeing that the arena fighter had a roman 1 next to it I take it that I could gain higher tiers by roaming the dungeons. oh yea I still need to claim that"
There is currently 1 achievement with pending rewards Pending Rewards:
1. gain 1 Vitality
2. gain 1 Endurance
"Vitality I think, at least that is if it influences health like I think it does"
Rewards claimed: 1 vitality
"Okay let's see what it did for my health"
Health
Stamina 100 / 115
100 / 100
Level
XP 0 / 10
24 / 100 Vitality
Endurance 1
0 Unspent stat points 0
"Okay, so I gain 15 health per vitality, with a base value of 100. That's good to know."
"So I think the best thing to do now is going back into the dungeons, but before that, I should go to the market to buy both better clothes and something similar to a backpack, because I can't really fight in this robe," Jay says as he opens the secret compartment under his bed where 'he' had stored the cultivation technique from the Li family, the seven scam techniques that he bought in the hope that they would repair his meridians and lastly the money he had left.

After grabbing the small bag containing the coins Jay headed back outside and walking around the garden he finally arrives at the door leading to the outside of the villa.
The door creeks and jay sees the outside world. There is a long road leading towards the city surrounded by empty plains and some plots of farmland here and there.
as Jay closes the door he says to himself "It's a miracle that this place hasn't been robbed yet, there isn't even a lock"
he says turning towards the road where he instantly gains a grim look on his face, "This is going to take a long time"
----------------------------------------
After a 30 minute long walks towards the city, Jay had finally arrived at the stone walls surrounding the city.
There is a line of people, all clothed in medieval-style clothing, waiting to enter the gate.
As Jay is waiting at the end of the line a guard comes up to him, looking somewhat afraid.
The guard says: "Welcome great cultivator, I am deeply sorry that you had to wait in line here."
Hearing the guard some of the people standing in the line look back, sharing the scared look of the guard.
'The hell?' Jay thinks
Having entered the city without another word from the guard, Jay sees that he attracts a lot of attention from the passersby, who are all wearing leather and wool clothing, contrary to his silk cultivator's robe.
'oh, I really need other clothes, I stick out like a sure thumb, but. It is great for skipping lines' Jay thinks, wondering why the people here are so afraid of cultivators.
Looking around Jay finds himself in a shopping district which is a mix of wooden stalls set up across the street and 'normal' shops with their own buildings.
'okay. Now to find a clothing store, tailor or seeing that I'll be fighting in this a leatherworker or, I could try to find a smith and go, full knight, which might be good just to train my strength, but seeing that I use a dagger now light armor seems more appropriate, I could also just get both. Oh, wait. I still have that iron block, I could just use that if I learn how to forge my own armor. So I need a bag, leather clothes and knowledge on how to smith'
Walking through the main street Jay spots a merchant selling a selection of books on his stall and he decides to see if he has a book about smithing or metalworking.
The merchant looks at Jay with a grim look before swiftly faking a smile and saying "Welcome great cultivator, are you interested in something?"
"Yes, I'm looking for books about smithing or metalworking," Jay says causing the merchant to be startled for a second due to the unexpected request.
"certainly," The merchant says a fraction of a second later. The merchant grabs a stone box from one of the shelves inside the stall. "This, This is a very rare book. Written by a grandmaster of the burning forge sect, with it is also included a cultivation path covering the Qi gathering and the body refining way of the forge, I can guarantee you that you won't see this anywhere else, therefore, it costs 20 gold coins"
'Yea, no can't do that a fifth of my money for a book that might be completely useless to me'.
"Sorry I have already committed myself to a path," Jay says, using the fact that one can only cultivate a single path.
"I am actually looking for books made for non cultivators"
"I see, I apologize for my misunderstanding," The merchant says grabbing another six books from his stall all of whom have an image on the cover of a hammer and anvil. "These are all the guide books published by the smithing guild containing all the knowledge to bring you from novice to grandmaster, The first three books are one gold and the last three are two gold, the final one however has an added cost of one gold and 50 silver, thus a total of 10 gold and 50 silver"
"Thank you," Jay says as he hands over the requested amount before walking away with the six books.
'Convenient that he had the books I needed, that probably saved me a long time of walking around'
A few minutes later Jay comes across a clothing shop geared towards people of the working class.
Entering it Jay greets the clerk who had subconsciously taken a step back to hide behind the counter.
She responds: "he- hello."
"I am looking for leather clothes" Jay responds causing the clerk looks at him with a confused look
"Okay..." She says after standing there stunned for a while.
the Clerk grabs some clothes, leather pants and somewhat the same size as Jay and give them to him saying, "th- those will be one silver"
As jay hands over the money to the Clerk, he asks if they also have backpacks.
"Yes" She responds grabbing a leather backpack from the back of the store, "This will be 42 copper". After having handed over the money Jay puts the books and clothes in the backpack
Jay walks out of the store, leaving the Clerk standing there, looking like she just had an encounter with a fearsome beast.
