“I guess it’s an aftereffect from the memory merging. Or some safety feature from the system” Jay says whilst walking through his room that has a quite limited decoration of a table, a bed, a full-sized mirror, a writing desk, and a closet used for clothes and writing supplies.
“So I’m Li Zou now, A member of the Li family, One of the greatest cultivation families and I was kicked out of the higher realms when they noticed that I have broken meridians and I was sent here, blue jade city, A relatively small city that flourishes due to trade,” Jay says while opening the door and looking outside, seeing that it’s evening.
Jay starts to wander around in the mansion that has been granted by his family as a ‘go away and don’t come back’ gift. The mansion is completely empty excluding the storage room, kitchen, and Li Zou’s room, thus it has 10 rooms without anything in them surrounding a garden with a pond. No staff either. All simply because Li Zou spent almost all his money on trying to repair his broken meridians fueled by his illusion that he could become the strongest.
“Heh. thinking about it this economy is really fucked up, a single Qi crystal costs just a bit less than buying a villa,” says Jay commenting on the Currency used globally here. Which is: 100 copper = 1 silver, 100 silver = 1 gold, then Qi Crystals and Lastly Greater Qi crystals above which everything becomes too valuable for trade using currency.
“Well... it’s to be expected. The cultivation sects and families have a monopoly on Qi crystals and almost everyone wants them because a single one can make someone a cultivator. So there is simply no reason to make the prices any lower.”
Jay starts to jawn, his movements slowly turning sluggish and his eyes losing focus ever so slightly.
“I should probably go to sleep now. I can see what I’ll do tomorrow” he says as he walks back to his room and goes to bed.

The Next day
Jay wakes up and drowsily looks around his room “so it wasn’t a dream… I’ve really been transmigrated” Jay stands up and puts on his clothes, white robes with light green decorations.
“Well, Seeing that the delivery of food will be coming in 3 days and I have nothing to do until then, Let’s test some of the things I can do with my powers,” Jay says to himself while looking in the mirror
“way too long black hair and brown eyes and I should be about 1,80m tall. Funny how I don’t even notice being ten centimeters shorter while walking, must be the muscle memory from Li Zou” Jay says after carefully inspecting his new body in the mirror
“I wonder what happened to him, did he get ‘transmigrated’ into my body? If so that would cause a lot of problems and who is that ‘admin’ guy and why and how did he transmigrate me?”
Jay casually walks to one of the bigger empty rooms in his mansion whilst asking himself “what now? I should try to get home, and I get a feeling like [planar nagivation] can help me with that.” He says before accessing the tool
Current dimension: #fuqq1
Travel strength: 1
[Jump to
id: #fuql1:
- Attraction: 25
- Resistance: 7.5
id: #a1b81:
- Attraction: -10
- Resistance: 100
“Okay, so there is a way to go home that’s nice to know. I just somehow need to gain more Travel strength.” Jay says being glad that there is indeed a way to go back.
“Why is the Jump button grayed out though?” Jay says as he presses the button
Couldn’t escape planar attraction, Jump failed
“oh, so that’s why, so this tool is practically useless until I get my travel strength above 25 and I can’t return home until it becomes higher than 100. At least, that is if the attraction of this plane is just a check and not a subtraction. And even if I get that these are so many more variables that would make going home useless, what if they don’t recognize me because Li Zou took over my life as I did to his, and what about time dilation, what if everyone is already dead?” Jay says as a chill runs down his spine
“I shouldn’t think about it too much. Let’s just assume that if I get back everything will be fine” Jay says as he opens [The Creator]
Shards of reality:
Shard gain rate: 10
10/day Create a new fact of reality
Create 1m³ (~3.2 feet) of matter
Upgrade object 100 shards
2 shards
1 shard
“What should I make? I’ll just make a giant block of iron” Jay says as he taps the Create button. Only a moment afterward a cube of iron appears in front of him.
“okay… [analyze]”
cube of iron weight: 7300kg
“Okay let’s [upgrade] it then”
cube of iron 1/5 weight: 7300kg
“What will happen if I upgrade it five times? Well, only one way to know. ” jay says whilst upgrading the cube 4 times
Magical: Increases effectiveness of enchantments on this object by 20%
“Okay, so at every ‘level up’ something gains a modifier” Jay says with a satisfied smile on his face
“3 shards left. Not enough to upgrade something again but seeing that I’ll be testing [Dungeons] next I should probably make a weapon, but what one? I won’t be able to use a sword because it will be too heavy, the same goes for almost all the other weapons. So… Let’s make some daggers.” Jay says as he spends 2 shards to create two small daggers
Not enough shards, required 4/3
“Oh… it requires two shards for each object you make. eh Let’s just make one then” Jay says as a single iron dagger appears in on top of the metal cube.

“Well, let’s start with [easy] because I’ve never fought anything outside of training before Then, well, Puzzle seems peaceful but if this world follows wuxia tropes I’m going to have to learn how to fight, so seeing that there is a respawn option Let’s make it [waves] of course respawn should be [on] then and I have no intention to be impaled by spikes so traps should be [off] and lastly [chests]”
Dungeon Created: Reward multiplier 0.3
shortly after this message a blue portal appears left of the giant iron block placing itself in about the center of the giant room.
Jay looks through the portal and sees a giant coliseum with a sand floor and walls of beige bricks, about 5m (~15 feet) above the ground level a giant crowd of what can only be described as shadow people can be seen.
“Well here goes nothing” Jay says as he walks through the portal, into the coliseum whilst strengthening his grip on his dagger.
You have entered a respawn zone, on death all damage to your body will be reverted and you will be teleported outside the zone
“Okay that’s reassuring” Jay says as the portal closes behind him
“Welcome shades and shadows, today we have very rare occurrence. We have a new competitor” says an ethereal voice resounding through the arena before all the shadow people start to shout and cheer.
Wave 1 Enemies:
Ancient golem x1 [Start wave] [Exit dungeon]
“Okay, so you can leave between rounds that’s good to know, but what’s it with those shadows? were they created by the system? Well, going from what the announcer just said I would assume that’s a no, well one more thing to add to the list of questions I have. Anyways [Start wave]”
“Well, Well, Quiet down you lot, it’s almost time to start” the announcer says as the entire crown quiets down. “but before we do, how should we call you, dear competitor?” the announcer continues as a golden microphone appears in jay’s hand.
“I’m Jay” He says as the microphone vanishes again
“Well, everyone, give Jay a warm welcome,” he says as the crowd starts clapping.
About 10 seconds later, when the applause has quieted down a portal appears at the wall of the arena and a 2 meter tall, stone golem walks out it before it closes again, the golem has moss growing all over its right arm, cracks all over its body and its left arm is no more than a stump, even though all this the golem gives off a strong presence due to the various runes all over its body, it’s blue glowing eyes and the giant red orb enchanted with even more complex runes visible in its torso.
“Okay focus” Jays says to himself as the golem slowly walks to him “I should attack from the golem’s left side and target what I can only assume is the core on its torso” Jay says as he takes off his sandals and runs toward to golem.
When just in front of the golem Jay sidesteps to the right as the golem swings it’s right arm to attack and completely missing him due to the golem’s inability to bend it’s arms inwards. afterwards Jay thrusts his dagger into the red core and thus breaks the brittle stone causing the golem to deactivate.
+24 XP gained
Wave 1 complete!
“AAAANNNNDDD jay wins!” the announcer says
A giant beam of white light appears in the center of the arena for a few seconds and when it’s gone a wooden chest is visible.
“That was… well… easy. I guess the dungeon holds true to its difficulty and I got some XP and a new Achievement” Jay says as he walks to the wooden chest in the center of the arena, picking up his sandals on the way back.
Jay opens the wooden chest and sees 3 red potions and 2 yellow ones, grabbing one of the red ones he says “I bet this is a health potion, [analyze]”
potion of vitality 0/3 weight: 0.2Kg
restores 25 health anyone drinking this
“close enough,” Jay says as he proceeds to grab one of the yellow potions and analyze it
potion of sustenance 0/3 weight: 0.2Kg
upon drinking this the user won’t have to eat for 7 days
“Well, that’s neat” Jay says, grabbing the potions with a smile on his face
Wave 2 Enemies:
Ancient golem x2 [Start wave] [Exit dungeon]
“While I probably could win, I doubt I would be able to bring back the rewards. If I want to do this seriously I really need a bag [Exit dungeon]” Jay says as he finds himself back with the giant metal cube.
