Specimen 6? Said the strange lady
Within seconds, the lady was in front of Adore in the blink of an eye. Adore didn't even see the lady in purple show signs that indicated she was going to move, but Adore did not jump or get startled, at least not on the outside. However, on the inside, she was freaking out. But for some reason, she felt safe, like she knew this lady somehow. She wore a big purple witch hat and a puffy purple dress. She had well-shaped curves, and two big mountains on her chest. She was almost 7 feet tall and she smelled amazing, almost like lavender . The lady was frantically searching and looking all over Adore's body for some reason , but Adore just let her look.
She didn't feel like the woman would hurt her, why she felt this way she didn't know, it just was a strange gut feeling she had that strayed her away from that line of thinking .then, with no warning, she suddenly stopped before shrinking down to her size, she was now a childlike version of who she was before. She was now at eye level with adore and staring her dead in the face. This happened in an instant. This wasn't to shocking to Adore, not to long ago she had been fighting skeletons and zombies alone with watching an animated heap of bone transform into a naked 30 year old man, yeah she was all shocked out for the day, but still she was at least intrigued.
"So, you really are Specimen 6. I'm surprised that you have accomplished so much in your time out of the capsule and didn't die as soon as you were free. It definitely wasn't time for you to be set free from the capsule yet, but look at how much stronger you got in such a short time. You even became a dark mage and gained some new friends. They're cute, but aren't you a little too young to be walking around with what looks like a 30-year-old man? Wait, is he undead? How in the world did you get him to have a full humanoid form at such a low stage and tier?"
Adore found these questions she was being asked by this strange purple witch a little perplexing, due to the fact she didn't really have the answer to any of them. So, she decided her best bet was to distract the witch with some questions of her own, as she was unable to even begin to understand how to answer the questions being asked.
" who are you?Are you the owner of this house? And how do you know what's in my soul space?"
These were just the first questions that came to Adore's mind, although she did want answers to them. She had honestly already guessed the answers to the first two questions, but she felt it wouldn't hurt to ask before forming her own opinion. The one question she truly wanted an answer to was the last one she had asked. She found it strange that the lady was able to peek around in her soul space. She also found it just a tad impolite, it was like snooping around in someone's personal-living quarters without permission
" Wow do you have any More questions for me before I answer? even though you've yet to answer mine but I'll let you pass something tells me you don't even know the answers to those questions."
" even though I find it strange you asked those questions with the idea that I didn't have the answer, I'm more then happy to afirim that you are definitely correct. Now that that's been said, who are you to me? my mom? I feel a strange connection to you, like I'm some how apart or came from you."

Adore already felt how strange those words felt coming out of her mouth as soon as she started saying them but she honestly didn't know any other way to say them with out sounding at least a little absurd so she continued with her question.
"Hahahahahhahah, oh wow! I've never been called that before, but I guess I technically am. I did make you and even shared some of my genetic makeup, but just call me Maven. Some people call me the May Witch or the Silent Witch, but those people usually only know me by those titles or happen to be my enemies. And yes, I do own this house. This is where all my early experiments are stored. You all have been stored here for years and just now started to go through your final stages of cocooning. None of you were supposed to finish until next year, though. You just happened to be born sooner because of whatever malfunction your capsule went through. Good thing you survived. You're the one I have the most planned for. But to answer your question concerning me peeking at your soul space, I'm a 10th-tier-dark mage. Seeing something like what's in someone's soul space is child's play for me."
When Maven said this, it had confused Adore. She wouldn't say the signature she was feeling was weak, but to say it was that of a 10th tier was a stretch. She couldn't say she had really ever encountered any 10th tiers before, but she had felt the signature of a 7th tier before. Arwen, her instructor, was actually a 7th tier, from what Twyla had told her, and the signature she was sensing then and now was about that level.
"Oh wow a 10th tier but I only feel the mana signiture of a 7th."
"Of course, you do. I can't release that much of my mana signature. They don't call me the Silent Witch for nothing. I don't move around willy-nilly, throwing my presence around for everyone to see. I am invisible, only to be seen or heard by those I wish to be seen by, and those I wish to kill. Also, the mana pressure of a 10th-tier mage is no joke. Most of us conceal it for the sake of the people around us. You may have just passed out from the pressure. Not that I was expecting you, but still, it's a good thing I didn't let out that much, right? Or we probably wouldn't be having this conversation till maybe a week or so."
"Oh wow that's how powerful a 10th tiers magic pressure is how terrifying"said twyla through the physic link.
Adore wanted to reply to Twyla, but she decided she would save that for later. She was still very much intrigued and didn't want to miss a moment to ask all she needed to know. She didn't want to forget the next questions she had planned to ask Ms. Maven before the time for questions was over.
"So why are you here now? and where have you been all this time? "
"Oh, you didn't think I lived here, did you? Hahahaha! This is just a place I store you guys in. I live near the capital, and the city near here isn't anything to scoff at, but it's still the backwoods compared to where I live."
Adore found it strange that someone who claimed to be so secretive lived near the home of so many high mages and big names. She thought someone who wanted little to be known about them would live miles away from any powerful or influential figures, let alone brag about it. But she decided not to bring that up, lest she offend the powerful witch. What would she do then?
"Oh really. why even come here then?"said Adore
"Well, I received a notification about a malfunction, so I came this way to check it out. I didn't think I would find you walking around. That was a surprise. Are we done with the question game now? I'm getting bored."
Maven then transformed back to her original form and walked back to the house. Adore followed behind her, a little curious to see what she had in mind. Once they made it into the house, Adore closed the door and waited for Maven to say something. They both stood there for a second before Maven broke the silence.
"So you're an adventurer now. That's a little off from the path I had planned for you, but I guess it's fine. It's not like it would change much. You can't start school until next year anyway. That's the year I have planned for you to join the Academy of Gemini."
"Academy of Gemini? That's the school you gave me all this information about. Why do you want me to go there exactly? Couldn't you teach me more than they could? And there's never been a dark magus that graduated from that academy, right? So why do I have to go there?"
"Well, there's an organization that I believe has spies in that school. Usually, I wouldn't have cared, but not too long ago, that exact organization started killing people who work under me. From what I know, they seem to have some sort of dislike twords the cursed, which isn't uncommon. Their only problem is that they've messed with my business. So now, I need you to kill their spies and gather as much information as you can from them.
Originally, I wanted you to go there and work your way up the ranks, becoming a spy so I can keep an eye on the Blessed Mystics and Knights. However, that comes second. It's something
