Alright lads, how we doing? Back at it with another update from my phone. Class let out on the seventh so I've been basking in the glory of free time for the past week or so. I was gonna say not a lot of progress has been made, but I'd be lying cause I just realized I wrote a good few pages earlier. This next chapter is probably gonna take a while, since it's a big emotional beat and I want to get it to deliver exactly what I need for what's next.

Right where we are in the story is basically the calm before the storm, so the pacing will (if I don't fuck this up) slow down pretty drastically. Gonna be a lot of characters talking, planning, and being tortured until it all comes to a finale, where after I'll probably go radio silent for a while as I sort out ideas for book two and (hopefully) find a publisher for book one after I smooth a lot of stuff out. There will be a bunch of extra stuff along with the final product that'll flesh characters out more and properly explain some things I've been smacking myself for not explaining before.

I'll do my best to make sure whatever contract I get into still lets me post chapters here in some way, shape, or form. I do realize that that effectively gives people a way to get what would be in a book for free, but I'd honestly rather it be on a site like this where I can control it if someone does decide to pirate what I've written.
