Nobody comes back from the dead. That was something Grayson Windfel and Vale Incaria had to learn at a young age. Something that stayed the only constant truth in their life until their childhood friend and general in Grayson's mercenary band Cinris died on the battlefield and reappeared four years later. Something that should've been happy was far from it, as Cinris had seemingly joined a violent Cult worshiping an old God named Svarog, and now went by the title of "Prophet". Confused and hurt, Grayson began resenting Cinris, but everything wasn't quite so black and white. Two years after Grayson discovered the Prophet, he was exiled from the Cult and found strung up to a tree by a similarly exiled monk by the name of Huojin.
