“So, you want to say that we should launch an all out attack?” Noah asked, all the members of the Phoenix family were again sitting in the leisure room. Elijah glared at him.
“Noah, this is the third time you are making me repeat myself. WE ARE NOT LAUNCHING AN ATTACK”, Elijah firmly said, “Yoshimura already called off the war, it is not going to happen”, he said.
Xavier snorted at him, ”Jeez Noah, hot headed as always”, he remarked, he was bouncing an apple up and down in his hands and lazily staring at the ceiling.
Noah turned and opened his mouth to retort but before he could utter a word Arthur cut in, “I am with Noah on this matter though”, all the members turned to look at him. Joakhim was again sitting at his corner, his face buried in a book, his ears perked up when he heard Arthur speak.
“What do you mean Arthur?” Tessa said as she glared at Xavier, he immediately stopped bouncing the apple and sat up straight. He was absolutely terrified of his mother.
“I mean, since the White Tigers had dared to challenge us even though we were far greater in power compared to them, our position within the 7 clans had started to shift. The other clans must be looking to extend the territory and the recent rumours…” Arthur trailed off. Elijah nodded thoughtfully. Levi looked up in confusion.
Elijah cleared his throat, “We will talk about that later, right now let’s come to today’s main discussion, Levi’s Path”, he said. An excited murmur passed across the small group gathered there. Joakhim put his book down and looked up straight, this was going to be interesting.
“So…”, Elijah looked at Levi with a smile on his face, “Which Path are you going to choose Levi?” Everyone looked at him expectantly, Xavier had crossed his fingers and was looking towards the heavens. Choosing a Path was a big deal because once you did so there would be no way to change it and a single Path would split into different sub divisions according to the person learning it, so a single warrior at the same time would not be able to learn the Divine Flame and the Hell’s Fire Path if they choose the Fire Path for example. So, warriors usually tried to recruit others into their Paths so they could benefit from that person’s knowledge and expertise as well.
“I…” Levi started, just then one of their maids interrupted.

“Master Elijah, you have a visitor”, she announced. Elijah looked at her with indignation.
“Tell whoever it is to wait for some time…”, he waved her away, “We are dealing with a more pressing matter right now”, he said but the maid hovered around.
“Sir, I don’t think he will wait”, she said once again. Elijah rose up.
“Who is it?” he asked at last.
“It’s the King”, she replied.
—-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"So this is the newly awakened warrior of the 7 clans?", the King eyed Levi closely, for a moment it seemed like he had sneered at him but it passed quickly and Levi shook his head, lately his mind seemed to play a lot of tricks on him. The King was different from what Levi had remembered of him when he saw him some years back. He still had that arrogant look, the long black hair, the cold gaze, the chiseled face and full black hair, but this time something was different... There was something.... sinister about him, like a dark cloud threatening to burst at any moment.
"Yes My Lord, this is my youngest son Levi", Elijah said. They were sitting in the grand hall, all the members of the Phoenix family were present, the King who belonged to the Draco Clan had come to pay them a visit as he was moving through their estate.
"Well at least he didn't waste the power of his bloodline", the King said, an ice cold undertone had crept into his voice, Xavier had started to twitch in his seat. There was a lot of tension between the 7 clans, peace was held by a flimsy and fragile thread that linked them all.
"I heard you killed Yoshimura's son already, a brilliant way to start your martial journey no doubt", he again spoke sarcastically, poison almost dripping from his words. Levi was trembling with anger. He had to calm down, he couldn't let his hot headness ruin the peace of their clans. The last time he blew things went quite badly and this was none other than the King, one wrong move and there could really be a war.
"Sorry to correct you My Lord but I was not the one who killed him, I am pretty sure that he had recovered the last time I had met him", Levi said. The King merely snorted.
"Well try saying that to him in Hell now", he replied, the atmosphere changed drastically in the room, even though he was the King, he was right now in the territory of one of the 7 clans and he was provoking them almost daring them to pick a fight.
"My Lord, I think we should stop this conversation before it gets anymore tense", Elijah said. The King leaned back into his chair.
"But my friend I am here for this very purpose", he said and an evil grin spread across his face. Elijah looked confused, Noah looked up from the table.
"What do you mean, my Lord?" Elijah asked.
"The Council has decided to banish Levi from the 7 clans", The King said.
