Joakhim had considered himself to be the best in analyzing a match, he prided himself for never predicting a wrong outcome for any match he had ever witnessed, but Levi's Awakening Ritual threw him completely off track, how could a kid who had recently awakened knock a fledging powerhouse off his pedestal so easily? Something didn't add up right. He spent the entire day researching the possibility of such an occurrence and he arrived again and again at the same conclusion, it was mere luck, if it was not the case then his entire life's learnings would go to waste.
Levi sat shell - shocked before him, the piece of information he had just thrown at him caught Levi off guard.
"What do you mean Teacher? How was it just a fluke?" He stammered, Joakhim looked at him closely, there was a certain air of unnecessary nervousness around him but he chose to ignore it, he had more important things to worry about. Levi's core had already awakened, Core was the single most important thing a martial warrior requires, it is the center of their energy flow. This energy flow dictates the capabilities of their bodies and sometimes the limits their bodies can be pushed to. To Joakhim, Levi was a special case, a boy who had passed the Age of Finality and awakened out of nowhere. It was not something you can observe everyday, regardless of his lingering doubts he decided to accept it as a miracle and move one.
But the Awakening Ritual had stirred in him something which he had left years ago. A perfect Martial Warrior, something which would only be possible in his wildest dreams, but Levi, he was different and Joakhim knew it, he could achieve which hundreds of warriors had failed to but it was not time yet, he had shook his head sorrowfully, Levi was far from being perfect, he had barely reached the stage of a Third Rate warrior, the fact that he was able to defeat a Second Rate warrior like Lee was nothing short of a miracle.
"Levi, you must listen carefully to what I am about to say", Joakhim said, his voice had fell down to a whisper. Levi leaned in so he could hear more clearly. Joakhim took a deep breath.
"I don't think what you have experienced is an awakening", Joakhim said, he looked up at Levi and was shocked to find the indifference on his face, why was he not surprised to hear that? Levi looked at him for a second more and leaned back on his chair, he looked to the sky and let out a sigh.
"Somehow I knew that it was the case, Teacher", He said at last. Joakhim looked at Levi with mixed feelings, he felt a surge of pride for his pupil and at the same time he was surprised to find that he had took the news so calmly, it was almost as if someone had already told him earlier... Joakhim shook his head, there was no way that was possible.
"So, what do you think is the cau-" Joakhim began but he was not able to finish his question because at the very moment a maid rushed in and rudely interrupted their privacy.
She bowed and said, "Young Master... The Head... wants to... wants to see you immediately... he's waiting for you by the gate", she was gasping for air, it seemed like she had ran all the way here. Levi sensed the urgency in her voice. He turned to Joakhim.
The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.
"Teacher we will continue this discussion some other time, for now I will take my leave", He said, Joakhim nodded. Levi turned and walked towards the mansion's main gates, followed by the maid.

"So Freya, do you think he is good enough?" Frey asked, he was sitting in the throne room, Freya was sitting beside him, she was twirling what seemed like a locket, between her long, beautiful and slender fingers. A smile was played out on her lips.
She stopped twirling the item in her hand, looking carefully one could see the image of Levi playing on the locket, it showed him walking with a grim determination towards the gates.
She threw her head back and sighed, "Oh Odr, why did you have to leave me?" a sad and wistful look came on to her face. Odr was the husband of Freya according to the Norse mythology, he often left her alone and went on long trips. She used to roam around, crying tears of red gold looking for him.
"Freya... I asked you something", Frey said pointedly, he was used to his sister's bouts of sorrow, he had almost grown tired of them. Freya looked at him, some raw emotion was running across her beautiful face, "You of all people should know what love means Frey, you gave up your divine weapon for a frost giantess", she said, Frey visibly flinched.
"Touchy topic", he said. Freya shook her head in exasperation and smiled.
"To answer your question brother dear, his potential is immeasurable but I would still need to mold him into a perfect shape and I don't think he would easily bent to our wishes, from what I had seen of him, he's a person with a strong character apart from the fact that he gets easily terrified but I don't think he's a person to step down in situation where true courage and bravery are required", she finished and looked at her brother.
Frey looked on forward and nodded slightly, it was more like a tilt of his head rather than a nod, "I hope for your sake that what you say is true".
Freya again smiled, "Don't worry dear brother, I am never wrong in my calculations", the image in her pendant switched to Noah who was standing beside the gates, "Never", she breathed.

"Levi, we have a little problem", Elijah said to him. Levi looked around, the scene that welcomed him was not the one he had expected, several warriors from various clans including the White Tigers were present. Noah was leaning on the gates, his hands folded across his chest, his spear was resting against the wall just beside him.
A white bearded man stepped forwards, a truly radiant aura emanated from him. He was frowning and his eyes were bloodshot like he had been crying. He wore the crest of the White Tiger clan on his chest. It was Yoshimura Hyuga, the Head of the White Tigers, he had the same chocolate coloured skin and hazel eyes like his son. Levi remembered him clearly from when he had to apologize for the damages he had caused to his son.
"What sort of a problem father?" Levi asked, the atmosphere was tense and he could feel the tension rising.
"BOY YOU DARE-!" Yoshimura burst out but Elijah held him back, he looked Yoshimura directly in his eyes, a cold rage starting to rush through them.
"I will speak to my son Hyuga, you don't have to", he said and turned to Levi.
He again spoke, "Levi... unfortunately Lee Hyuga succumbed to his injuries and died today morning".
