Chapter 4: Commands

The darkness fades away, the sunlight is shining on Caelum's face. It's morning. 

He is exhausted and hungry. He hasn't eaten since the destruction of the city. 

Caelum slowly opens his eyes and look at his right hand. "So, it's not a dream after all."

I need to bury Kana and her parents. After he buries Kana and her parents he searches in the town for something to eat. After that, he makes fire and burns the entire town. Don't worry I will avenge you all. May your soul rest in piece. He walks where Kana is buried and he makes three gravestones. He kneeled and bowed five times. 

"Naytus, show my your attacks."  

 "Yes master," responded Nazytus

A shadow monster appeared from his right sleeve. "I got only four abilities available in my basic form."  

First one is called "devour" I will rip the enemy heart or head depends on their weak points.

The second ability is called "protect" I will shield you at front to block attacks from you. There several attacks, magic or projectiles that can go through my body, so be carefull when you use this ability.

The third ability is called "shoot" you can shoot projectiles to the enemies. The final ability is "lunge" my body will form a spike and extend to maximum 15 meters and it can thrust through enemies or objects.

Caelum listens to the explanation and he understands most of it. He needs to call the commands "devour","protect","shoot","lunge" or else Nazytus won't to anything.

He practices those 4 commands in a forest nearby the town for three days. He killed several wild bears and other animals during his practice so he can get souls for Nazytus and food. He skinned the bears for a winter cloth and meat. He makes a large wooden box from the trees he destroyed to store his food. It's already winter, so he wears the freshly skinned bear fur. 

"I need more information about the flying castle. I better go to Hazen gather some clues and money. I also need to start killing people or other creatures then animals otherwise I won't get stronger.I only have ten years to extract my revenge so I can't waste my time here."

Hazen is the biggest city in the human continent. The other races in the magical continent and humans from the three empires trade their goods there. There is a university where every race can study if you have enough money. The biggest concentration of nobles are living in Hazen.

"I need about one month to reach to Hazen If I walk.Should I capture some living animals in case I don't meet someone on my way? Nah, its too bothersome since I only got one hand left. I will definitely kill the animals if I use Nazytus."

"Tssss Feeding this guy is such bothersome task." "Wait a second."

 Nazytus does it count if I feed your some insect souls? "Master, do your belly get fully after eating such tiny meal? Stop asking me such pointless questions. I need at least thousand of those insect souls to satisfy me." 

How much time I got left? "You feed me this morning so you get exact 17 hours 13 minutes and 7 seconds left before you die."

Caelum already regrets his decision for accepting the contract. "I should go to a nearby village and stole some chicken or sheeps"

After walking six hours, he finally sees the village. The village has only fifteen houses and everyone is inside except one villager.

Hello there! Caelum greets an old elderly man with white hair. He is wearing a green coat and is fetching water from the well. 

"Oh, a visitor here that's a rare sight. What do you want to ask?"

I want to trade bear meat for some chickens or sheeps preferably alive. "Oh, we get some chickens here. Wait here a moment, I am going to fetch them." 

The elderly man walks towards the biggest house of the village and goes inside. 

"There is a brat outside about thirteen-fourteen years old. He said he got bear meat."

There are fifteen men inside the house, they are wielding some weapon. 

They are actually bandits and they hide inside this house because one of their men spotted Caelum coming. The eldery man is their leader. 

"Let's kill that brat before he notices something suspicious." said one of the man.

"Wait, don't you think is strange that a kid is coming alone to a village like this?" said the man wearing a straw hat." 

"Even if he is suspicious what can this brat do? We already killed the entire village and he is missing an arm. Just kill him and throw his corpse with the others." said the elderly man.

The bandits storm outside and rushed towards Caelum. "Brat, you are unlucky today. Blame yourself not us," said the elderly man. 

Caelum shows an angry expression and said, "You killed all the people inside this village ?"

When he finish speaking there already two bandits in front of him and use their swords to attack him.

"Devour!" Nazytus appeared out of his sleeve and ripped the heads off the two man in front of him.  

"MON.....STER!" the bandits are running away in panic. "FUCK FUCK! I should have known that this kid isn't normal," said the elderly man. 

"Shoot!" Don't kill them just shoot their legs so they can't escape. Several black projectiles appeared above Caelum's head. The black projectiles are aiming at the legs of the bandits.

"AHHHH!" shouted the bandits. The black projectiles pierces through their legs. 

I ask again "do you killed the people inside this village?" 

"SPARE ME PLEASE! "It's was their idea killing the villagers. They took me as hostage and use me to lure travelers like you inside the village," said the elderly man

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU SAYING! IT WAS YOUR IDEA!" screamed some of the bandits.

Where is the main camp?         "What do you mea...n?" 

Stop toying with me or I call my monster to rip your head off.  " DONT! It's about 3 kilometers north from this village," replied the eldery man.

How many? "Sixty men and twelve women."  "Please don't kill me, I swear I will become your servant, dog or whatever you want." 

"Annoying selfish bastard."  "Devour!" All their hearts are ripped out of their bodies and they collapse on the ground.
