Chapter 1:  Three years ago part one

"Kill that bastard, kill that bastard!" shouted a boy. Four boys are chasing a black haired boy. They cornered him around an alley. One of the boys pick up a stone from the ground

and throw it to the black haired boy and shout "Die, you little piece of shit." The black haired boy groanend, blood is coming out from his head. 

"That's what you get for punching me in the face", said the boy. "You are pathetic aren't you? Fighting someone with 3 other idiots." said the black haired boy. 

"Well, I can't complain because I'm dealing with cowards here." The black haired boy angrily shouted "Hey shiteaters kill me if you can." The large boy is enraged and punches the black haired boy in the face. The 3 others are doing the same thing.

A girl is walking nearby and heard shouts from the alley. "Punch him, Punch him!" said the large boy. She saw 4 boys beating one and is enraged. "STOP IT!" shouted the girl.

She picks up a piece of wood nearby the wall and run towards them. The boys stopped their assault to the black haired boy and turn towards the girl. They saw a beautiful girl with silver hair and emerald eyes. "What a hottie we got here if you want us leave him alone come with us." said the large boy. The large boy wants to walk forward to touch the girl's hand.

Smack! The girl smacked the large boy hand with the piece of wood. The large boy screamed from the pain. "YOU LITTLE BITCH!" The 3 other boys walk towards the girl wanting to grab her.

In just an instant, she knocked the 3 boys out with a fast movement. The 4 boys are running away, fearing the girl."Are you alright?" asked the silver haired girl. 

"I'm fine, many thanks for helping me and defeating those idiots. Are you perhaps a disciple of a swordsman?" Your moves are so fast." The girl giggled and respond, "No, perhaps I'm a genius? 

Or they are just weak?I think it's the latter one." 

Can I ask one why they are attacking you?" The black haired boy explained how he accidententionally bump the large boy  on the street. The large boy throws some insults and the black haired boy punched his face. "But enough about that. What's your name?" said the black haired boy. 

"My name is Kana" She is stroking her hair when saying her name. And what is yours? 

I am called Caelum.  You got blood in your face. Let me wipe it off. 

Kana takes her handkerchief out and starts to wipe the blood out of Caelum face.

Caelum's face is blushing and his heart is pounding. 

"In which district do you live?" asked Kana while wiping the blood off.  I lived in the lowest district(most poor). 

My parents are already dead. He told how  bandits attacked the caravan where they travel with. How he manage to survive thanks to the secret compartment in his carriage. 

He is gritting his teeth and said "After I get out of the carriage, I saw the corpses of my parents and several others. Some of the women are raped and they stole everything valuable away. 

"Sorry for reminding your past." said Kana gently. It's not your fault. He continues his story.

"After I finish digging the graves for my parents, I was wandering around the country. I end up stealing food and money in towns and begging in big cities. I end it up here one year ago. I am tired of running around so this is actually my longest stay. 

This is actually the first time Caelum is talking about his past. he doesn't talk a lot in normal circumstances. The reason he talked about his past is first because she saved him from the bullies and second because he is attracted to her. 

So it's your turn to talk about yourself. "I am not from here."  

What do you mean? The girl smiled and said, "I need to go now, my parents are waiting outside for me. Take care."

Wait! Why don't you stay a little longer? I can show you and your parents around the city.

My parents are from the neighbor town, they come here each week once to sell medicines. 

I just accompany them because I was bored in the town. This is my first time in this city. I don't know the way back to the market district. Can you show it to me?

Yeah of course. Caelum leads Kana to the market district. The merchants are now packing their stuff up and is ready to leave. The district still busy even if most of the merchants are leaving.

"There are my parents." said Kana. Caelum is now greeting her parents and the mother said, "Hello there, are you a friend of Kana?" 

Caelum tells her parents how she saved him from bullies. Kana blushed in embarrassment.

The parents are proud how their daughter is. 

Caelum asked, "Do you come next week?" She responded, "Yes, can you tour me around in this city?"  

Yes of course! 

Caelum watches Kana and her parents leaving the city and he is excited thinking about next week.
