“I want to go out."
“No.”
“I want to go out.”
“No.”
“I want to go out.”
“No means no,” Gul said impatiently.
“This is illegal confinement. I'm telling you, Gul, today I, The Little Evil God, will go out. Let’s see how you stop me. Watch my Little Evil God kick!” The Little Evil God roared furiously, launching another of his infamous kicks.
Gul sidestepped, grabbing a nearby baseball bat and swinging it down on The Little Evil God's head as it reached chest height.
Bang.
Over time, Gul had grown accustomed to using violence against The Little Evil God, probably because the latter constantly threatened to kill him and attacked with those relentless kicks. Being attacked and then retaliating seemed a normal reaction.
“D*mn it, Gul. Why won’t you let me out? I want to go shopping, buy things, and go to the amusement park!” The Little Evil God demanded, his large eyes brimming with tears of frustration. “Do you plan to keep me as a pet forever? Even pets get to go outside sometimes. Why can't I?”
“You’re such an idiot. You can’t even transform properly. What kind of demon are you? Do you think it’s safe to go out looking like you do now? At least hide your tail first,” Gul retorted.
Gul had not expected The Little Evil God to be so incompetent. Lacking power and unable to change form, he remained in a half-human, half-snake state. Without legs, he would surely be captured and dissected if seen.
“What’s wrong with how I look now? I think it’s fine. And if people see me, I’ll just kill them all. Problem solved,” The Little Evil God said, as if it were the most logical solution.
“Killing everyone won’t solve anything; it will only create bigger problems. Stay home until you can hide your tail,” Gul said exasperatedly.

“I don’t care, I don’t care, I don’t care! I want to go out!” The Little Evil God whined, rolling on the ground like a petulant child.
Seeing The Little Evil God's tantrum, Gul felt a headache coming on. Keeping him confined wasn’t a solution. Even pets needed fresh air, let alone a demon.
Just then, a faint circle of light formed and turned into a round portal, through which the robed and bald Ancient One appeared.
The moment The Little Evil God saw the Ancient One, he grew vigilant, despite his usual incompetence. After all, he was still a demon and sensed the presence of the Ancient One immediately.
“It seems you two are getting along well. That’s a relief,” the Ancient One said with a gentle smile, observing The Little Evil God clinging to Gul’s leg and Gul holding the baseball bat he had used to strike the demon.
“Getting along well?” Gul looked at the bat in his hand, which he had just used to hit The Little Evil God.
“You bald-headed sorcerer, what are you doing here again? This is my territory! Get out!” The Little Evil God shouted angrily, waving dismissively at the Ancient One.
“Shut up!” Gul swung the bat again, hitting The Little Evil God on the head and making a bump rise.
The Ancient One’s expression flickered with a hint of oddity at Gul’s familiar actions. For her, this was indeed a sign of harmonious coexistence, despite the contract between them.
“Ancient One, what brings you here?” Gul asked in a slightly ingratiating tone. In this perilous Marvel universe, the Ancient One, who could make even Odin and Thanos wary, was a reassuring protector.
“I came to check on your progress and to bring you some tools for a normal life,” the Ancient One said with a smile.
“Tools?” Gul’s eyes lit up. Anything given by the Ancient One must be valuable.
“Since The Little Evil God will be living on Earth, some disguise is necessary. This necklace will change his appearance,” the Ancient One explained.
“A transformation necklace?” Gul was both enlightened and excited. Despite having grown used to hitting The Little Evil God, he had developed some affection for him. Allowing The Little Evil God to go out like a normal person made Gul happy.
“Give it to me!” The Little Evil God dashed to the Ancient One, snatching the seemingly ordinary necklace.
The Little Evil God moved so fast that Gul didn’t see him clearly, and even the Ancient One squinted slightly as the necklace was snatched. Despite the collar limiting his power, The Little Evil God had regained considerable strength over time.
The Little Evil God eagerly put on the necklace, and in Gul’s eyes, his form shifted. The snake tail turned into a pair of long, slender legs. However, “Pffft,” blood gushed from Gul's nose—The Little Evil God wasn’t wearing pants.
“Ancient One, I have fulfilled the original wishes of this body, and its obsessions are nearly gone. Can I now learn magic from you? If I master magic, I can better protect myself and, in turn, safeguard the Earth,” Gul said with a look of longing.
