Chapter 3- Information

THE MONTH OF NEW LIFE (MARCH), 8TH DAY, YEAR 506 OF THE IMPERIAL CALENDAR

Much has happened in the past 5 years that I have been here. I have learned many things from the manners of royalty, to the basic geography known to the empire.

First and foremost I learned that my father was Emperor Xylon, a fallen angel that was more than 2,000 years old, and founded the Demon Empire. Apparently there are actually very few real demon species, and that “demons” was just a general term given by humans for beastmen species who lives under the Demon Empire’s rule. Apparently my father disappeared roughly two years before my birth, and my mother was a royal concubine, actually, the only royal concubine. When I think about it now, it’s a little too convenient that my father chose his first and only concubine close to before his disappearance. I’ll try and look into it later, it’s too suspicious to leave alone.

The next thing I learned is that there are still 12 months in a year, however, instead of the standard 30 days in a month, there are about 35 days standard. On top of that, there are 6 more hours in a day. With all of this information, I have concluded that the planet I am on is probably a bit bigger than earth.

This being said, it means that smaller countries in this world will be more than likely much bigger than small countries on earth, especially by modern day standards. On the subject of land and countries, I have seen a map of the the currently known continents. While it’s hard to generally describe the layout of land masses, the continent where the Demon Empire was located held enough land to probably give the United States a run for it’s money.

The Demon Empire itself was split up by territories, if anything, it was something similar to Japan or the Holy Roman Empire. The capital, which controlled enough land to last against all of the other tribes on the continent, was located on the north-eastern part of the continent. Surrounding it westwards and southwards were around 30 or more tribes and duchies belonging to the empire.

Beyond the southern border of the empire was a land which belonged to neutral monster tribes. Past them were Dark Elves and Dwarves, although they were more or less united as one land.

The most important thing I noticed was that most of the landmasses were split up in an island like fashion.

Unfortunately, this is all of the most important information I gained at the moment.

Although that is not everything I have to report.

Up until a year ago, I had been going through the regular daily routine, with a few exceptions of special events like parties, I continued to be nursed by my wet nurses, whose names I learned to be Seylem, Karlen, and Jeiss. Each were a different type of beastman. Karlen was a stereotypical Japanese neko, with the exception that she had fuzzy claw like hands that were in no way, shape, or form cute like the stereotypical neko. She had black hair and fur, had blue eyes, and wore a black maids uniform. Then there was Jeiss, who was a harpy, with with green hair and eyes, and had red feathers. She also had talons attached to her wings, as well as talons on her feet, and like Karlen, also wore the maids uniform. Lastly, there was Seylem, whom was also a lamia. She had blonde hair and blue eyes, and red scales, and partially wore a maid’s uniform.

Once I had turned five, they still took care of me, but Draldren had commanded them to start teaching me manners and etiquette. They also were instructed to start teaching me how to speak. Although, in secret, I already taught myself how to speak when I turned four, but decided it wasn’t necessary to speak yet.

Apparently, on my 6th birthday, Dralden was going to enroll me into the royal academy. That meant I have only 3 months left before I enter school. It would Also be the first time that anyone besides the  heads of noble families and tribal leaders would see me. Wilheim will also be enrolling with me, even though his main purpose is to continue being my bodyguard since the entire order of knights couldn’t follow me into the school. Another thing is that is that Wilheim has grown much taller and has gained a little more muscle in over the last few years. I also have noticed he is a lot less clumsy nowadays.

I’ve decided to make a diary with all of the events from the moment I met God up until now. I have kept them hidden, and made sure no one would ever find them unless I wanted them too.

THE MONTH OF BLOOM (MAY), 15TH DAY, YEAR 506 OF THE IMPERIAL CALENDAR

It had been nearly 6 years since King Jeremiah had discovered the birth of the Demon Empress. Almost as soon as he found out, he gathered up messengers and began instructing them to tell this important news to the neighboring countries surrounding them. As soon as he finished, messengers with the royal insignia began to leave the throne room to their set destinations.

Since then, Jeremiah had become nervous, because the Demon Empire was quiet, too quiet for his liking. Jeremiah knew that with with united power of the demons, they could take on the entire continent of humans, so he could not understand why they were so quiet.

Once the entirety of humanity had learned of the Demon Empress’s existence, they began training special soldiers to counter demons, as demons had natural skills that the majority of humans lacked. In short term, it felt kind of pointless training soldiers that currently had no use, but it was better to be safe than sorry.

King Jeremiah decided that he would stop worrying about the demons. Even if they were plotting something, It could be years, even decades before the did something, so he personally had nothing to worry about. But then he started worrying again, not about the demons, but his children. His son, Prince Hernando and Princess Addison whom were 19 and 11 years old. If the demons were plotting, and succeeded, what would happen to them? Time could only tell, but he could not stop worrying.
