Yep, it's that moment. I'm pulling out the stops. It's time to formally announce the release of my new story, Newly Broke Heroine!
Sorry if I've been a smidge delayed on responses, I have been going full tilt on this one, and I think you guys are gonna love this story. I'll let the blurb do the talking for me. If you guys love slice-of-life, cozy storytelling with well developed characters, then Fiona and friends shall deliver!
We are currently at nine chapters released, go check it out, add a follow, add a favorite, and give it the rating you think it deserves! Thank you so much everyone for your input and commentary, you guys are what inspire me! Everything I've learned while writing The Legend of the Luminaires has been incorporated, and this one is going for a rocket ride with a zany elf merchant, a kitsune mage, a by-the-numbers accountant, a sweetheart demon barista girl, and more!
Now, for you guys sweating thinking 'Magius is chasing success, he's gonna ditch us!' NOOOOOPE. I'm still writing Luminaires. I'm not giving that up. I'll be driving both at once, though Luminaires has slowed down pace a little bit, compared to my previous breakneck pace. One of the challenges of two full volumes is making sure I stick the landing at the end, and there's plenty of plot left.
See you guys on the other side, if you haven't popped in your head already!

Newly Broke Heroine!
The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
Fighting monsters, getting loot, buying cozy clothes? All Fiona needed was her friends, fun times, and hobbies!
Fiona Swiftheart was the hero of Fiefdala. She banished the evil dragon lord to the swampy wastelands, and returned to the capital of the kingdom she saved--and then got taxed for the loot she took from the oversized lizard?!
Too bad that no one told her the King went on a long-term vacation, before she got back. He put his scummy son on the throne, who decided cuteness and heroics weren't cool!
Faced with either jail or paying up, Fiona traded in huge swords, armor, and the adventuring life to don a business suit and opened a merchant store, to try to sell off stuff that no one could possibly afford to buy! Except when she got her merchant license, she signed up for more than she bargained for!
At least her business degree from her previous life won’t be wasted. Join Fiona as she pursues a smaller life, builds hobbies, and makes friends who aren't dead set on fighting the next great villain at the drop of a hat!
And pays taxes. She hates taxes. More than lawyers or lawmen.
