As I have mentioned before. "The Legend of Celeste" is a story I have been working on in my head for nearly 20 years.

During that time, the story has undergone many transformations. Plot lines, backstories, themes, and characters have transformed and evolved since their original inception. One of the few aspects that has remained mostly unchanged however, is the character of Akane.

This story originates from Royal Road. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.

In my original concept, Akane went by a different name, but her character has always been the same. The role she plays, her qualities and traits, and even her death have always been a staple in the story following Sera's pursuit of destiny. I have had alot of time to plan the events in the story, each of them have played out in my mind thousands of times, but I would be lying if I said that the end of Akane's story was easy to write. This story is like my baby, and consequentially, I have a lot of care for the characters within it. Though she may just be a fictional character within a story of my own making, she still felt real to me, in my mind.
